Could use some hummus or Taziki with the full plate instead of paying 7 to 8 dollars for a side of it. Peacan caramel was unsuspectingly good. Not too sweet and just the right amount of bite. Came in around 6 and the sun was brutal through the window. Maybe some blinds would help with just the eat in. Service was nice and helpful.”

“If you are looking for an authentic and homey Korean restaurant in the valley, look no further. The side dishes were classics The highlights being the braised potato and chili cucumber salad.

I ordered the soybean paste stew, not usually my go-to but I think I found a new favorite. Full of veggies, tofu and just enough pork to top off the meal - the stew (된장찌개) tasted better with every deliciously comfortingly salty mouthful.

It was a bonus to be served Korean purple rice as well!

The general energy on a lunch weekday was relaxed but friendly - I felt like I was sitting amongst regulars and I know I'll be joining them with more visits ! 10/10 recommend!”

“7/18/2026 This was our first time trying Mix Grill and I’m glad we did! We ordered the Mix burger combo and a cheese pizza. If everything on the menu is as tasty as the 🍔 , fries and pizza 🍕…. that will be amazing! The seasoning on the fries was 🔥, the combination of everything on the burger worked well together and good meat to bun ratio, I like that and the pizza flavor was on point. Very tasty! The crust is thin FYI, which is my style and it’s that chewy type of crust. Absolutely no complaints. I would order both items again.The food hit the spot! Great and attentive customer service when ordering and waiting for our to go order. Also first thing I noticed was how clean and clutter free it looked.
It was warm inside, so no air conditioning, but maybe they were trying to keep the bills low, understandable. I wish them much success and look forward to trying their Mediterranean food next.”

It's my first time here in this simple looking hidden gem and I had a great experience. They barely opened when I came so the store was clean. Their menu had so many variations of Thai food and most of them looked delicious.

I ordered the Thai coffee, shrimp and pork spring rolls, steamed pot stickers and the seafood combination fried rice with added chicken.
The Thai iced cofee were very good, although I am not really a coffee person, I liked it.
Their pork and shrimp eggrolls were not bad and the steamed pot stickers were awesome.

The fried rice came with shrimp, squid, and 4 pieces if fried fish plus I asked them to add some chicken on it. It was fantastic!
I could finish it all because the portion was generous and i only cost $40 something dollar for everything.”

“I’ve been coming to Grandma’s Thai Place for a long time now, and it’s always been one of my favorite spots. I regularly recommend it to friends and family because the food has always been consistently delicious, and it’s a place I’ve spoken very highly of over the years.

On my most recent visit, I noticed that the orange chicken has actually improved. It tastes less overly fried than it used to, which lets the flavor of the chicken and sauce stand out much more. It was a pleasant surprise and definitely a change for the better.

Unfortunately, the Pad Thai was a disappointment this time.

It lacked the bold, savory flavor that I’m used to, and it looked unusually pale instead of having the rich orange-reddish color it normally has. It tasted like it was missing the sauce or seasoning that usually makes the dish so enjoyable.”

“My wife got us late lunch from this Jack In the Box since it's on her way home. She used the drive thru and order us the Jack Spicy Chicken sandwich with cheese. She then also a small French fries and her favorite the stuffed jalapenos.

The food is very flavorful and fresh. The portion of accompanying greens and limes are always plentiful. Every protein I’ve had from there is phenomenal. The fried eggrolls were the perfect amount of crisp, the dipping sauce was delicious and the flavor was amazing. The spring rolls are always fantastic, served with a tangy, not too sweet, perfectly balanced sauce.

Because it’s so busy, you do need to wave down or get the attention of a server if you need anything. But they’re very quick, very kind, and exceptionally polite.”

4 years later... it's still as good as first discovered. It's a neighborhood gem inside the Korean Greenland Mrkt, which btw, is also awesome.

Must try is the salmon bowl, the salmon slices are so tender and buttery... they give you a crazy amount of salmon over the rice and seriously it's enough to have a 2nd meal! One note about the bowl... I'm not a fan of drenching really good cooked rice with sauce, so I always order without the sauce. The rice is not sushi rice which makes it even more delicious... the rice is always perfectly cooked. You get a miso soup and a cute little container of pickled radish (delish). I would love to know where they source the fish... it's like being in Japan, it's so fresh.

Food: the food was packed with flavor. Tons of delicious herbs and spices. The appetizers were addictive the meat was incredibly tender and cooked to perfection. We had the lamb kebab and the beef kabob and honestly you can't go wrong with either. The portions are very generous so expect to get plenty of food.

If you enjoy Middle Eastern food you absolutely have to come here. As a bonus the owner of the restaurant and his family are incredibly nice and have hearts of gold.”

“I stopped by V’s Grill on an ordinary evening, the kind that slips quietly into the next without leaving much behind. The parking lot was half full, the neon sign humming softly above the entrance, drawing people in from the darkness one table at a time.
Inside, the atmosphere was comfortable enough. Conversations floated through the room like distant radio stations, overlapping and fading into one another. The staff moved steadily between tables, carrying plates and glasses with practiced efficiency.
The food arrived without much fanfare. It was good, satisfying, and prepared properly. Nothing felt extraordinary, but nothing felt disappointing either. The meal did what a meal is supposed to do—it filled the space between hunger and contentment.
There are restaurants you remember for years, and there are restaurants you simply appreciate for being there when you need them. V’s Grill felt like the latter. A dependable stop along the road rather than a destination in itself.
When I left, the night looked much the same as when I arrived. The sign still glowed. Customers still came and went. Life continued quietly around it.
In the end, V’s Grill provided a pleasant enough experience. Not unforgettable, not disappointing—just a solid place to sit down, enjoy a meal, and let the evening pass by.”

Then came the Maracú Foam Latte.

At the first sip, I was no longer standing among cars and concrete. I was carried across mountains into the heart of Peru, where the breath of ancient forests mingled with golden fruit and the songs of forgotten civilizations echoed through the valleys. Golden Brown Café may appear modest from the outside, but within its walls lives craftsmanship, kindness, and flavors that deserve to be sung by poets. “Walked in thinking it was an ice cream shop, had no idea the food was healthy! Great atmosphere and very friendly people there. I came 30 mins after close by accident😬 but Lorena, Madi, and Victor were incredibly nice and took my order.

The shake I got had around 200 calories and 24 grams of protein which is insanely good for how it tasted.

Definitely come if you want a great time and great tasting, healthy sweets.”

I grabbed the Taiwanese spicy noodle soup and some regular dumplings to go. Not the cheapest, but the soup? Honestly a solid win. The broth was flavorful with all the fixings, definitely hit the spot.
The dumplings were a little on the blander side (kinda giving Costco frozen dumpling vibes), but i drop them straight into that spicy noodle broth. Trust me, it completely levels them up and makes the whole meal so much better 🔥
Overall a really solid meal, I'd definitely come back to try more of the menu!”

“Incredible spot for authentic boat noodle right here in van nuys. We have boat noodle and it’s perfect richness, deep flavor broth. To wash it down, Thai iced tea is very authentic southern Thai style Thai iced tea. It’s perfectly sweet, creamy, and refreshing. It’s great to have a Thai legit noodle house in the neighborhood. “The food is always good, and the staff is super attentive and friendly. That is one of the reasons I have never felt the need to speak with management about anything.

However, I’m not sure if it is this restaurant’s policy, or if it is part of a newer way of doing things, but I’ve noticed that before we pay our bill, we are asked to tell our server what we will be tipping. If we are paying by card, it seems like the tip is addressed before we actually complete the payment.

I have been here enough times to notice that this seems to be something only one specific server does. I have to admit, I dread getting her as our server because I find the interaction a little uncomfortable and, honestly, somewhat rude. I’ve never experienced this with any of the other servers, which is why I’m not sure if it is an individual practice or an actual restaurant policy.

Aside from this particular interaction, I would honestly give this place a 10 out of 10. My family loves it, and I do too, which is why I’ve always just let it go. I’m only mentioning it because it has happened enough times that I felt it was worth bringing up. I really hope this can be addressed because otherwise, we absolutely love coming here.”

Restaurant Seating Barn Furniture had a good selection of teak table tops at good price points. We ordered a 36” round, teak table tops at and we really like it. It arrived in short order and the quality was nice. I teak oiled the top and bottom. It turned out fabulous!”
