“Defrankos was our first stop on our 12 day vacation from Canada. We got off the flyaway and walked down a few blocks with all of our luggage in tow. The staff were incredibly friendly, they gave us such a warm welcome to California… but beyond that the food was AMAZING. We are currently sitting at the airport going over our trip and all 3 of us agreed the very best food we had on this trip were our 3 subs from Defrankos. ❤️

“You have to take it for what it is: an American diner place who does pizza. Is it better than Chuck E. Cheese? Absolutely. A lot better? Well, maybe. But the food is honest, the sort of out of time atmosphere good enough for me.

You don’t pay extra for decor and that ok. I love nostalgic food joints reminiscing of easier times e and this is one of my go to places for comfort food.

“We don’t eat out for so many reasons. 1. Because we always get sick and believe me this is every time we eat out. But we discovered this hole in the wall. The owners of this place clock in about 90 hours a week working on their own business. The place has 5 starts and an A rate from the health department and no joke, they deserve it. It is the first time we didn’t got sick form eating outside food!!! Give it a try, you will not be disappointed!!“

Oh my gosh, it was divine! The uni was so fresh and creamy and the pasta itself was cooked just right. Every bite was an explosion of flavor. We also tried the baked lasagna and it was delightful. The layers were perfectly balanced and each bite was full of rich, savory flavors. Let's not forget dessert! We shared a few different things and they were all great. The tiramisu was fluffy and decadent and the chocolate mousse was rich and smooth. Overall, Angelini Osteria is definitely a must-try for Italian food lovers in Los Angeles. “I don’t remember having pasta this good since I visited Italy back in 2014. I ordered the Tagliatelle, I loved how the noodles were so thin and the beef/sauce was just the right balance. The sfincione in bianco (focaccia) was amazing, reminded me of the one in Felix. Next time I’ll have to get a side of ricotta as a dip. For dessert, ended up getting the Tartino al Cioccolato - the textures were incredible and now is my all time favorite dessert. In my opinion, this is the best Italian restaurant in all of LA. Chef Funke really knows what he is doing. Can’t wait to go back and try more dishes!“

“Went to Chloe’s birthday party this past weekend and it was my first time trying Sogno Toscano’s food.

The catering was impressive. Everything looked so beautiful… and the flavor of the sandwiches was incredible…

They sat us on the back patio which was awesome. We (of course) had the meatballs and they were incredible! The Parmesan crisps served when we sat down were so good! We all loved our meals - veal parm, pasta carbonara, pasta oilo and the pear/fennel salad to start was delish! The highlight of the night was meeting/chatting with Johnny Roastbeef. He made the night magical and so much fun with his stories of how the brand became so popular and telling us about the other restaurant locations in Harlem and FL. All in all 10 out of 10! “We live in Laguna and were up in Westwood for an art exhibition. We were referred to Ospi Brentwood by a friend. Upon arrival, we found the atmosphere alive and energetic, replete with college grads and their families and couples out for a nice evening. The mozzarella was phenomenal and the tagliatelli delicious.

The star of the play however was our waiter, Christian. He has this electrifying personality that is engaging, warm, really fun. He saw to our every need and was detailed oriented, which we love. The surprise of the evening was when Christian brought a newly frosted martini glass, unprompted. I've ordered martinis a million times, all over the world and never has anyone cared that much, or thought of the detail.

Christian is a true professional that has that balance to keep things light, fun, and all business.“

I recently had the good fortune to propose to my partner at this lovely Italian restaurant, and I couldn't have chosen a better place for such a special occasion. From the moment we entered, the atmosphere enveloped us with its warmth, elegance and an unmatched romantic touch.

The decoration was exquisite, with dim lights, candles on each table, The staff was incredibly attentive, helping me coordinate all the details for the big surprise. They even went the extra mile, giving us a table in an intimate corner with a perfect view of the restaurant.

The food was simply spectacular. We started with a beef carpaccio and a fresh burrata that seemed to melt in your mouth, the prime meyer Ranch porterhouse is exquisite.

The staff handled everything with discretion and professionalism. In the end, they even gave us a glass of prosecco to celebrate our new stage together.

I recommend this restaurant not only for its exceptional food, but also for its impeccable service and romantic atmosphere. If you are looking for a special place to celebrate or, as in my case, to make an unforgettable marriage proposal, this is the ideal place.“

“My husband and I tried this restaurant today and we were very happy with the food. The chef took our order and took the time to explain that the lasagna recipe is from his mother. The pizza was pretty terrible,*if* you know what good Italian pizza is. I could barely eat it - crust was not right, and there was so much cheese you couldn't even find that crust.
I'd visit again for the drinks, but never again would I try the pizza. Sad.“

Garett and Daniel ensured that we had enough food for the evening and were incredibly efficient in clearing the table promptly. They were so kind that I had to ask for their names.
Michele’s dishes were meticulously prepared and executed to perfection. The al dente pasta, a staple in my culinary preferences, was particularly noteworthy. The dessert was an exceptional highlight, showcasing the chef’s remarkable pastry skills.
