I've been here a handful of times, and it never disappoints! I rented out the private dining room for the first time a couple of weeks ago, and it was truly one of the best dining experiences I've ever had. Scarlett is a vibrant and alive restaurant in West Hollywood with an incredible atmosphere full of charm and character. The whole place feels beautifully and thoughtfully designed, making for a truly memorable and special evening. The main draw is the spectacular live entertainment, including phenomenal burlesque shows, magicians, dancers, a piano player and singer, and breathtaking aerial performances that create a unique energy.
The service is consistently excellent, with staff described as amazing, attentive, and warm, making guests feel very well taken care of. While the food receives mixed notes, many dishes are praised as excellent, fantastic, fresh, and delicious. Highlighted items include the tuna tartare, yellowtail crudo, Caesar salad, charred cauliflower, calamari, fried mozzarella, meatballs & polenta, parpadelle short rib pasta, and creamy gelatos. However, some dishes are found inconsistent, with notes on excessive salt, lack of flavor, or unbalanced presentations like the skirt steak, branzino, truffle mushroom pizza, and tiramisu. For the price, most reviewers feel it represents good value.
Overall, Scarlett offers a cute and fun experience that stands out for its combination of great service, incredible ambiance, and live entertainment. It is a place many would happily return to for a wonderful night out, though some may not plan an immediate return due to food inconsistencies. Reservations for the desirable inside dining are challenging to get.
