It’s a cute restaurant with friendly staff.However, I expected the food to taste better…I ordered their classic breakfast pizza suggested by the server. First of all, it looked great. I’m not a fan of the fake bacon because it tastes like paper. After the first couple of bites, I realized the pizza was barely edible because of the amount of big rosemary leaves added in the pizza dough. I had to hand picked them out of the pizza to avoid tasting the ‘soapy’ rosemary flavor… and I love rosemary in general. Just not THIS MUCH. I asked my friends to also taste my pizza and they all told me I should send it back.Luckily, our server took it back right away and gave me the option to change to a different pizza.The second pizza I ordered was margarita pizza. It was pretty blend. But at least edible.I do need to say their menu is probably a hit or miss. My friends ordered the breakfast burritos that they enjoyed a lot. The open dining room, along with the lighting and music make the perfect setup for a fun/modern environment.We started off with cocktails and both really enjoyed them. For appetizers we chose the pork belly sliders based off of reviews online. I personally wasn’t blow away by them, but my girlfriend really enjoyed them. We also decided to share the truffle flatbread and WOW. This was quite easily the best part of the meal. The dough was perfect and the truffle sauce on top was incredible. Do yourself a favor and order this!For the entrees; we both opted for one of the pasta dishes. Sticking with the same theme my girlfriend got the truffle pasta. She absolutely loved it, I tried a bite and was jealous I didn’t order that myself. I chose the sweet potato gnocchi with short rib and it was very good. It probably could have used some more salt.And just when we thought the meal couldn’t get any better…we ordered desert. We were going to get the churros since many reviews online talked about them, BUT based off of our server’s recommendation we ordered the chocolate cake instead. No words…just delicious. We were so content after that. We both are in agreement that this was one of the best meals we’ve had at a restaurant in a while.“

“We booked Olivetta for an early Valentine’s Day dinner, based on its popularity and reputation. I would not classify it as fine dining, more so a really good Italian restaurant that specializes in drinks, and a more upscale and lively vibe versus a traditional fine dining restaurant like Madeo up on W Sunset. I would say it’s a great place to bring a date or dinner with friends or family, and not so much a work dinner location. The inside is beautifully done and has some great colors. There are tapestries all along the walls with lots of plants dividing the dining areas and a very muted red color that really adds to the ambience. They don’t have a dedicated parking lot, it will be valet or metered street parking. You have to check in with security street side first and then they let you walk up the ramp where you will next check in with the hostess. They have a large bar area as well as a lot of different seating options. Our table was extremely small, however, and the tables were very close together so this is not the sort of place that you’ll be able to have a private or sensitive conversation. Our server was very polite, although took quite some time to take our order initially but overall, I think he did a great job. The music is quite loud here so if someone has hearing issues they will really struggle to hear others at their table.They have a fairly large menu with a lot of great options on it. We started off with a Squash Blossoms, which were absolutely fantastic. I have ordered these all over town and this is definitely one of the better versions. I was a bit disappointed that it only comes with three which is a hard number to share so I wish the portion size would’ve been a bit larger for this. Next we followed with the Caesar Salad and it was great. Again, not a very large sized portion, but still tasty flavorwise. For my entrée, I chose the Creste Di Gallo because having the bone marrow scooped in right before you eat is an unbeatable addition to me. It was a true treat. I love bone marrow anything so this was great pasta. The bone marrow itself added a great flavor and a crunch to the meal, which I truly loved. We also ordered the special for the day, which was the Dungeness Crab Tagliatelle. It was absolutely fantastic and had a ton of crab on it. The sauce was truly what made the dish and the pasta was cooked perfectly. For dessert we topped off the meal with the Brown Sugar Budino and I definitely would recommend it. It was sweet and salty and actually a great sized portion. it was a great end of the meal.Overall, I would say Olivetta is a great date spot. It’s very lively and very noisy but in a fun way. They play the music quite loud so it has a very Friday night kind of feel to it. I would recommend and will try it again sometime in the near future.Parking: valet or metered street parking“

We especially enjoyed their mushroom pizza and house fries. When it comes to drinks, perhaps it was just that this place had been overhyped as some of LA's best cocktails, but I found them to be just okay. I tried the Midnight Breakfast and Eospresso and they were both ... fine. I wish there was something a little more memorable about them. The environment felt electric and trendy, but even right at open, grew loud with voices and pumped-in music. I think I'd recommend it to everyone to try once, but it wasn't the quiet, brilliant cocktail lounge I was hoping it might be.“

“We visited this establishment for the first time on Superbowl Sunday. I have never seen a manager go so above and beyond for his guests than I witnessed at the Den. It was crowded, but he went out of his way to find seating for us and took great care of us. He was very visible during the very crowded time and could be seen helping his staff. When we are back in the Hollywood area, we will revisit here just for the customer service alone, although the food and drinks were 5 star as well.“

From the outside, the entrance didn't seem too inviting as it looked very dark and appeared closed. But once inside, the place has a very nice chic ambiance, a hip young crowd, and a DJ playing some great tunes. When we visited, they'd only been open a few weeks, so it's a very new spot, and surprisingly, it filled up pretty quick. We got to see the chef step out and greet a few people. The majority of the staff were friendly and accommodating. We arrived at opening time and decided to sit at the bar for quick service. We were pleased with the bar staff's attentiveness and pleasantly surprised at how fast the place filled up, but still our food arrived with good time. Everything we ordered looked great and tasted fantastic. The drinks were nicely poured, the potato appetizer and pumpkin soup were our favorite, and we kept hearing about the lamb meatballs, so we had to order them to go - and they were perfect! Parking can be a bit hectic, street metered parking or valet (not sure of the cost).“

The one warning I'll give for the tacos is that they aren't the biggest portions, and they're served on individual plates. If you have a small table, you may run out of space if you order enough tacos to be satisfied.In addition to the large selection of tacos, they have an equally diverse drink menu. They offer margaritas by the pitcher, flight, and glass. If you order the flights, they come with a sparkler (as I said, the place is cute) for your social media memories. “I've been to Harlowe a few times but only when it's a bar and have always enjoyed the vibe there. This time, a friend and I decided to go for dinner. We heard there was a new chef and the menu had changed so we decided to give it a try and we're so happy we did! We started off with the hummus board, which was amazing and chef Alex told us he makes the hummus from scratch. For the main dish, I ordered the burger which was perfectly sized especially for a multi course meal. Lastly, Alex recommended the gelato for dessert. There are three different flavors, and each has their own distinct taste and texture, and are delicious! Highly recommend the "We Are All Mad Here" cocktail to sip on while enjoying Chef Alex's food.
