“Solid brunch menu (I had the oysters and the Eggs Benedict with a Brut Rose Champagne and the trifle for dessert). My server Corbin was very friendly and attentive. The outdoor space is cool, trendy, and hip, but not over-the-top. The music pulses, but it’s not a distraction to conversation. I’ve been looking for good places since moving to LA almost 6 months ago. This was one of the few times I wasn’t disappointed.“

“Such a great find! I’ve driven past almost daily for years and years and finally made it it in tonight for dinner. All the fish was very fresh and delicious. Chefs were wonderful, friendly and super talented. It’s my new sushi go to. Favorites tonight were the Albacore Paradise Roll and the baked snow crab hand roll. “The Butcher’s Daughter is one of those places I know I can come back to and always have a great experience. Located in the Melrose/West Hollywood area, it has such a beautiful aesthetic. The decor has this really warm, bohemian feel with lots of natural light, greenery, and an overall relaxed atmosphere that makes you want to stay awhile.

The food is all vegetarian, so if you’re looking specifically for meat options, this isn’t the place. BUT I will say everything is DELICIOUS. They do have vegan + gluten free options available as well, which makes it a great option for groups with different dietary preferences. Everything we ordered was really good, fresh, flavorful, and thoughtfully prepared.

The service was another highlight. The servers were genuinely kind, attentive, and accommodating. We had a larger group of more than 7 to 10 people, and they were able to accommodate us, which I really appreciated. Getting a larger group together can sometimes be a headache, so having a restaurant that can make it feel easy is a big plus.

Overall, I really enjoy the combination of the food, atmosphere, and service here. The space is beautiful during the day when all the natural light comes in, and the bohemian decor gives it a very relaxed but still stylish vibe.

If you’re looking for a pretty, welcoming spot with great vegetarian food, good service, and a fun atmosphere, The Butcher’s Daughter is definitely worth checking out. It’s one of those places that consistently delivers a good experience, and I’d happily come back again.“

“We are visiting town from Texas and ran across Irvs burgers in Balboa. Service was friendly and quick. Breakfast burritos was perfect and the patty melt was amazing. “Somehow I had never tried this place until about a month ago through Uber eats when I was craving an Apple fritter. Have ordered a few times since and think I’ve found my favorite donut/breakfast sandwich place in LA. Everything is always super fresh even if I order at 3 in the afternoon. The fritter is huge and might be the best I’ve ever had. Bagel breakfast sandwiches are perfect as are the other donuts I’ve had. So happy places like this still exist!!!“

My friend got Sea Salt, and I ordered Strawberry Honey Balsamic and Sea Salt in a cup.
The portions were huge, and everything was delicious.

I also loved that you can sample the flavors before ordering.
My favorite was definitely the Sea Salt!

The shop was pretty quiet when we visited, so ordering and pickup were quick and easy.

“So so good! Their basic house salad had a very clean, delicious taste with a lemon vinaigrette. We also got a cheese pizza and 10/10 would recommend. Was a thin crust pizza but good crispy crust, not too thin. I got a strawberry spritz, non-alcoholic drink that was fresh and my friend got the Espresso Martini. I'd never tried one before but had a sip and will absolutely get it next time, very smooth. The bartender was nice and attentive.“

“Yesterday, I visited Guisados in West Hollywood. Food is always delicious and today, I am not reviewing their delicious food, but their honest employees. During my long stayed and visit eating their tacos I forgot my phone, and continued with my partying. Arriving home I realized I had lost it. Honestly, I thought that someone stole it from my packet, you know weho is known for that, but when I searched my iPhone with my other devises, it showed it was at Guisados. I called them and they confirmed having my phone. Guisados honest employees made my night brighter. Hope the owner pays them well and appreciate them. We need more honest people like them.
