“Solid brunch menu (I had the oysters and the Eggs Benedict with a Brut Rose Champagne and the trifle for dessert). My server Corbin was very friendly and attentive. The outdoor space is cool, trendy, and hip, but not over-the-top. The music pulses, but it’s not a distraction to conversation. I’ve been looking for good places since moving to LA almost 6 months ago. This was one of the few times I wasn’t disappointed.“

“Fast and helpful service in a cute vegan cafe with a parking lot and real fresh flowers on the table. The Mac and cheese was very good, but I was most impressed by the shrimp tempura roll! As a lifelong vegetarian, vegan sushi can sometimes freak me out, but this one was incredible! I would have gotten another roll if I wasn’t already so full! Will def come back to try more of the menu.“

“We are visiting town from Texas and ran across Irvs burgers in Balboa. Service was friendly and quick. Breakfast burritos was perfect and the patty melt was amazing. The meal was esthetically a work of art (see photo). The menu said two eggs, but it looked like five. Great French toast - better than I can make myself. Needless to say, I highly recommend Joey's Cafe!“

My friend got Sea Salt, and I ordered Strawberry Honey Balsamic and Sea Salt in a cup.
The portions were huge, and everything was delicious.

I also loved that you can sample the flavors before ordering.
My favorite was definitely the Sea Salt!

The shop was pretty quiet when we visited, so ordering and pickup were quick and easy.

“Tried the Strawberry Synergy drink from Earthbar and it was so refreshing 🍓✨ Perfect balance of fruity and fresh without being overly sweet. Definitely one of my new favorite grab-and-go drinks. “Somehow I had never tried this place until about a month ago through Uber eats when I was craving an Apple fritter. Have ordered a few times since and think I’ve found my favorite donut/breakfast sandwich place in LA. Everything is always super fresh even if I order at 3 in the afternoon. The fritter is huge and might be the best I’ve ever had. Bagel breakfast sandwiches are perfect as are the other donuts I’ve had. So happy places like this still exist!!!“

Was a thin crust pizza but good crispy crust, not too thin. I got a strawberry spritz, non-alcoholic drink that was fresh and my friend got the Espresso Martini. I'd never tried one before but had a sip and will absolutely get it next time, very smooth. The bartender was nice and attentive.“

““I had a really upsetting experience at GYM BAR. After having just a couple drinks, I was told I couldn’t be served any more because of my skin color. I was sober, and I went to another bar right after, and everything was completely fine. I’ve never felt so singled out or discriminated against, and it really ruined my night. I won’t be returning“
