I love retro sports decor. The building is beautiful. So is the bar itself. I also love the booth seating. And the upstairs area. The photo booth is so cool. And the food is delicious. I was there working on an indie movie and we filmed there. I highly recommend trying it out. It's right in the heart of Hollywood. 🫶“

“I met my friend for breakfast yesterday morning at 8:30 am. Since it was so early, we were able to grab a four-top table on their patio, just outside of the open-air, stylishly beachy restaurant.

We both ordered coffees, a latte and an Americano. She had the overnight oats bowl, which looked delicious and filing, and I had the avocado toast on sourdough. So fresh and good!

The staff were very nice and friendly, and this is a great, laidback place to have breakfast.

There is a large parking lot in front of the restaurant; paid parking only.

I will come back and bring my boyfriend! Great location across the street from Venice Beach, too.“

“Angelini Osteria totally lived up to the hype! We had a great dinner there that night and I can't wait to go back again soon. Let's start with the star of this show: uni pasta. Oh my gosh, it was divine! The uni was so fresh and creamy and the pasta itself was cooked just right. Every bite was an explosion of flavor. We also tried the baked lasagna and it was delightful. The layers were perfectly balanced and each bite was full of rich, savory flavors. Let's not forget dessert! We shared a few different things and they were all great. The tiramisu was fluffy and decadent and the chocolate mousse was rich and smooth. Overall, Angelini Osteria is definitely a must-try for Italian food lovers in Los Angeles. The food is incredible, the service is friendly, and the atmosphere is warm and inviting. We can't wait to come back and try more dishes on the menu!“

“Delicious authentic Roman cuisine …“

“Came here for dinner and left feeling like I'd just eaten at home. The Aloo Tikki was crispy and perfectly spiced, the Chana Chalupa was a fun twist, and the Noormahal Lasagna was something I haven't seen anywhere else. The Veggie Fun came out at exactly the spice level I asked for, and they were happy to swap in garlic naan. Everything was well cooked and the flavors felt genuinely authentic, which is hard to find in LA.
The service really stood out too. The staff was warm, attentive and super sweet the whole night. You can tell they care about their guests. Highly recommend Roots Indian Bistro, and I'll definitely be back.“

“After our Altadena house burned down, we relocated to Barker Block and absolutely love being so close to Manuela. We used to have a fire table like yours, so dining here always carries a sense of home. Last night we brought friends, and they said, ‘This makes it hard to go out to eat in Monrovia—our restaurants cut corners with cheap ingredients and fast turnover.’ What your chefs create is the opposite: dishes with not just incredible flavor but extraordinary texture and detail. Their expertise is off the charts, and I highly recommend.“

Not your regular everywhere tacos. These tacos were homemade recipes. I had the carne asada, pork with potato (puerco con papa) & beans with cactus (frijoles con nopal). It's a week later that I tried these tacos and I can't stop talking about them. My favorite was the beans with cactus. Soooo good. Also, the atmosphere was just so nice and lively. The crab is fresh, not fishy, and the meat is firm, not squishy. The crab meat is also very full, the crab legs are full, there is no empty shell crab. The sea urchin rice is a little smaller but the sea urchin is enough. regular sea urchins are not particularly sweet, but they are fresh and worth the price. The sea urchin Rice bowl combo will be served with steamed eggs, runny eggs and two prawns in sauce. Raw marinated salmon rice is amazing to me. The salmon is marinated just enough to be flavorful, but not overly salty. The portions are generous. You can eat two bites of each piece of salmon.“

“Such a great experience! I honestly wasn’t sure what to expect walking into Bike Shed since I’m not really part of the motorcycle scene and thought I might feel a little out of place, but I was completely wrong.

The tall tattooed bartender working the bar was amazing. He was super welcoming, friendly, and genuinely made me feel comfortable right away. He took the time to explain the drinks, made great recommendations, and had such an easygoing personality that made the whole place feel way less intimidating.

It’s rare that someone’s service actually changes how you feel about a place, but he definitely did. I came in a little nervous and left feeling like I’d absolutely come back. Great drinks, great atmosphere, and even better hospitality.“
