“Excellent Fresh Organic Options“

“This is my go-to neighborhood bakery now. Living within short walking distance means I come here every week. I've tried every pastry by now and each one is excellent. They often add new seasonal pastries, most recently a strawberry danish topped with creamy frosting and filled with house-made jam; easily the best vegan pastry I've ever had. Their freshly baked breads are almost all vegan, most of their cakes are vegan, they have vegan sandwiches, and all of their café drinks can be vegan with plenty of plant milks available. Many of these are gluten free as well for those concerned about that, and always clearly marked. These are NOT pastries for crunchy health-food types, they are incredible and indulgent vegan versions of the same croissants, pan au chocolat, scones, cookies, muffins, etc you'd get in any European style bakery. It's a great place to go with omni friends and family because the vegan options are just as good as the nonvegan ones. The place has a really cozy neighborhood type feeling, drawing regulars from the area including families and plenty of cute dogs, and the staff and owners are all super friendly. My omni fiancé and I are having them make our wedding cake! Pro tip 1: go before closing from 2:30-3:00 Monday-Thursday for 30% off everything. Pro tip 2: their day-old breads are half off, which makes their breads a total steal. “The foods are amazing … i had the salmon creamy pasta and i liked it so much, the salmon with cherry tomatoes are very refreshing , porcini and mushroom are the new favorites , but the black truffle was the most unforgettable one , once you taste it, it seems you are watching a classic italian movie. The employees are friendly and very accomodating. The atmosphere itself makes you feel like home.“

“As most of you know trying vegan food is very new to me. Lately I’ve been on a tremendous weight loss drive so I had to be very careful what I eat and often times me very selective. But I have learned to enjoy it and today I got a vegan specialty from a cute little vegan protein bar. Right inside the gym I go to, LA fitness in Kansas City. And the young lady behind the bar was very pleasant and offered several suggestions as I let her know I just finished a very intense workout so I needed protein but I need to be very careful on the caloric intake. I tried the vegan peanut butter dream and let me tell you it certainly looked up to it stain. They were even kind enough to give me extra in a little cup on the side lol so I’ll be sure to enjoy it all day long this is a wonderful mix of almond milk, peanut butter, banana, Oats, and hemp seed and plant protein they are waiting for you to try the many other healthy options that I recommend highly!“

“The best ramen in Culver City! I first had Ippudo in New York over a decade ago went it was arguable the top ramen spot in the entire city. Since then I’ve had it in Tokyo and now am so glad to have here in Culver. The Akamaru Modern is still as excellent and balanced a bowl as it’s always been.“

“YUUUUM. This was our first time here (didn't know it was a chain) & it was delicious! We were seated right away and our server was super nice. She brought us our drinks and a side a shredded ginger. She recommended we eat it with our meal, by itself, or use it in our water! I appreciated her recs and choose to nibble on some and put the rest in my water.

We got the orange chicken and the stir fried green beans. We also tried the beef pancake. All items were generously portions and delicious. We would for sure return again!“

“Went here to meet a friend for a quick lunch. Staff was friendly and helpful with the menu. They offer a decent amount of very interesting sandwiches , most of which can be made vegetarian as well. I believe there was one vegan sandwich also. I ordered the Giving Tree sandwich , it came on delicious homemade focaccia bread with spicy mayo, herbed turkey, cheese and arugula. What a fantastic sandwich. Everything tasted fresh and was sliced SUPER THIN. The bread was really good quality. Also they sell Zapps chips which I love. The voodoo flavor is the ultimate OG.“

Disregard the previous review that was freaking out about the chairs. It happened right in front of us and the person was just there to look at their phone, not watch the game, not engage with the other patrons, nothing. It came off as entitled and sad. “I love Simonette. The patio is a wonderful place to relax and enjoy a cocktail and breakfast, lunch, or brunch. I’ve been there twice now and I can highly recommend the burger on the menu - the fried egg on top completes it! And the mussels in the light cream sauce are wonderful - especially with fries. A friend of mine ordered the fried Bronzino - the complete fish including the head - and she said it was delicious. There are great cocktails available and several wines and Prosecco available by the glass. The onsite valet parking is a bit steep, but there are many nearby options for parking in downtown Culver City if you don’t mind walking a few blocks.“

“Tried for the first time May 2026. Nice clean great atmosphere. Service was excellent. Great menu. My only problem was it taste like just a little to much salt. I feel if they were to cut back on the salt you would taste the flavors they create instead you taste the salt. I will go back and let them know how I feel and go from there.“
