“Ok. It’s dope. Like for real. Even if you’re a pizza snob who only likes NY style or Detroit or Chicago or whatever… this is still dang fabulous. The wood-fired sourdough crusts come out with that perfect, blistered, chewy/crisp texture. And it’s not just the pizza. The pasta is great. Get the cacio e Pepe. I feel weird fan-boying this hard.
The squid ink calamari (or whatever they call it on the menu) is insane. Roberta’s completely crushes the game. The vibe is incredibly cool. Spacious, energetic, and the perfect spot to hang out. I prefer inside, but it’s got a dope patio. But it’s the food and the execution that make this place a legendary neighborhood staple. You gotta try it.
First off, huge praise for Chef Carlos. The kitchen is operating at a masterclass level. I overeat on accident because it’s so good. Whether you’re getting a classic Margherita or the Bee Sting (soppressata and honey… I think basil too), you can tell Carlos has a relentless eye for quality and balance. Every ingredient pops. Ask if there’s anything new they’re trying out.
The incredible food is matched entirely by the stellar service. Our server, Ethan, was cool as hell. He was attentive, hyper-knowledgeable about the menu, and brought a great, warm energy to the table that made the whole night feel special. It’s rare to find a spot that’s this popular where the front-of-house staff is just as spectacular as the kitchen team, but Ethan nailed it.
Great food, flawless staff, and an effortlessly cool atmosphere. Roberta's is hands-down the best pie in the city.
P.S. Camren’s sweater was cool.“

“Pizza Man never disappoints! I ordered the cheese pizza, wings, and cheesy tots, and everything was fresh, hot, and delicious. The cheese pizza had a great crust with plenty of gooey cheese, and the wings were flavorful and cooked just right.
The cheesy tots are easily my favorite menu item—they’re crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and loaded with cheesy goodness. I could honestly order them every time!
If you’re looking for a satisfying meal in Westwood, Pizza Man is definitely worth checking out. Great comfort food and I’ll definitely be back!“

“Great pizza! Crust was amazing and the choices are diverse. We had both a pepperoni and a fungi w/sausage. Delicious. Once we found a seat the patio was delightful. Quiet neighborhood. Parking was found not far away, be sure to read the street parking signs. P.S. it is through the market to the back and to the left.“

“Rocco's is one of my favorite casual bars in Culver City. My cousin and I go here all the time after work for pizza and wine. They serve generous pours and the pizzas are relatively large pies for the price. We typically order the white pizza with the mushrooms. It's fantastic. They also have a great happy hour!!“

“Wow! I didn’t expect such good pasta from a ghost kitchen. The garlics bread was not bad at all either. What surprised me more was their commitment to not using any seed oil! Is this real? Has this day finally arrived that Americans finally understood what “healthy” means?! I’m eating delicious shrimp pasta that doesn’t come in a slob of overpowering and greasy sauce made with bad oil, at this price point, of this portion. on the west side, AND with delivery under 30 mins?! Im grateful you guys exists 🙏
The only thing I could wish for is that 5 pieces of medium sized shrimps was a little lacking. I wouldn’t mind having a bite or two less noodles but a couple more shrimps would be more balanced. Also even less oil would be my personal ideal.
All in all, this is a very positive experience and I’m going to become a regular here!“

“This location consistently serves up delicious pizza dough, sometimes between thin and original crust, but the flavor is on point. Karen has the magic touch, excellent customer service skills with the ability to correctly anticipate the customer's needs and when to query or get further clarification. Karen made it an all around refreshing experience. Thank you“

“I did takeout of a gluten-free pizza. The GF crust was so good, I was legitimately worried that I had been given regular crust by mistake and had to reassure myself by looking at pictures of the regular crust (which does look different). Takeout service was professional and attentive. Positive experience!“
