“I am glad to see this New Romantic and hip restaurant take over this spot. It is beautiful and great for groups. Staff is kind and helpful. Parking options include self paid parking as well as valet. If you want free parking you will have to walk quite a bit. Prices and portions are as expected. Everything was delicious including the pesto and Tierra Donna pasta, branzino, mushroom and margarita (not a margarita fan since the sauce is normally whatever and there isn't enough cheese but this one is my fav since it has a good amount of cheese and the tomato sauce is robust) pizza but my favorites include the eggplant parm (my favorite one as it was delicious without being a messy heavy dish), tortellini, arancini, and their sundae/ice cream. A great spot if you are a vegetarian. We got salads as well including the Caesar but in the future I would skip them to make more room for the other items.“
“I ordered some food to be picked up the other day, my first time at Victor Jrs. I got food for the entire family so we ordered a pepperoni pizza, a chicken Philly sandwich, a Caesar salad with chicken breast and an order of meatballs. The pizza was awesome. I love that they use a spicy pepperoni. The crust was perfect. The Caesar salad was amazing. The chicken breast was superb and the Caesar dressing was incredible. The chicken Philly sandwich was tasty and huge! We couldn't believe how big it was. Finally, they call the meatballs divine for a reason. They were some of the best meatballs we have had from a restaurant. They truly are divine. Overall, everything about Victor Jrs was great and we can't wait to go back. It's our new local Italian joint!“
“My bf and I went last night to watch the Laker game, and we enjoyed ourselves! Fries are a cool 6/10! Cheese Pizza 8/10! Beer 10/10! will say that the service is slow, I had to go to the bar or flag someone down quite a bit for help. Our waitress, Janet wasn't the sweetest grape in the bunch either, I felt rushed because we were forced to close out before we were ready to leave. Nonetheless I would come back it's a fun place to watch sports and have a drink!“
“Very reasonably priced and pretty good food. The owner was super friendly. I had the lemon rice which was nice, the yogurt curry which was fine, but I'd get something else next time. I wasn't hungry, so it didn't bother me, but the portions are relatively small. They have some tables just outside. I'm interested in the burrito, which I'll likely try next time.“
“Very good quality pizza, I really liked it because they left it well cooked and their chicken had good flavor, my favorite part was the attention of the cashier who served me!And their forte are the potatoes, delightedly very crunchy. I am from Nicaragua and I was satisfied with your productHe would come back for his parents.Kid-friendliness: My children were delighted with the play area.“
“Really solid NYC by-the-slice style pizza place. Slices are large and it's really convenient to grab and go. I don't think it's groundbreaking enough for 5 stars but I've probably Easter here the most out of any other pizza place in LA“
“Been coming here for about a year now and this is the best pizza spot in la. Where do I start , they have a wide range of food , from pizzas , to sandwiches, to wings, and even Vegan options too, taste amazing. I go here fresh off of work and usually get there 2 slices and a drink special for about 8 bucks. Beers on tap as well as new drinks they get every 2 weeks or so. I've had half the menu and everything I've had so far has had rich taste in flavor and has me wanting to come back and try it again. The manager and cooks are always working hard there and always have a smile when they greet us. No matter what they always make sure food gets out on time and even makes sure we have all our condiments ready for when we get out food! The vibe of the place is 80's and 90's themed with records everywhere , guitars , and other memorabilia. Not to mention the FREE arcade machines you could play while you wait for your food. In summary , this is a really nice spot if your just getting off of work, going on a lunch date or brining the family for some pizza. Shoutout to Matty and Danni for showing some love and always making my experience there a good time .“
“Excellent brick oven pizza. They use fresh ingredients and have an interesting selection of pizzas to choose from. Staff are very friendly and knowledgeable when it comes to their craft. The dough is so good here and the pizzas come with that delicious wood fire taste that many other pizza places don't have.“
“This is the best pizza in Los Angeles. The 30 hour fermented dough makes the crust perfect. The selection of toppings is great. The names of the pizzas provide inspiration for an excellent playlist to listen to on your drive to pick them up. Plus Chef Brandon is just so cool. Park in front of Bar & Garden, go in and grab a bottle of wine, pick up your pizza you already ordered on the easy to use website, and eat the best pizza you’ve had. Don’t forget to try the sauce, ranch, and any side dish he has going on that day too.“
“I work nearby and end up at Upper Crust a few times a month. The pizza is always delicious, and I'm a huge fan of their calzones! Their slices are massive for what you pay, too - if you get two slices, you have lunch for two days. Oh! And they have a delightful chicken sandwich that I think it newer on the menu that my partner really enjoyed when we went last together.Employees I've interacted with have always been effective and quick. While it can take a minute to get your food, that first bite tells you just how freshly made it is and is completely worth the wait. I highly recommend stopping in to try a slice or a calzone!“
“Great affordable prices for quality!! Fish tacos were huge! They actually forgot to add the salsa so it tasted a bit off. Should have realized it! But all in all still delicious with a perfect crunch.Nachos were also fantastic with the different cheeses and spicyyy salsa. The scallions were a new thang I never thought tot try on loaded nachos but it compliments it very well.Parking: easy if you park at the huge plaza where sprouts is. Less than a 5-10 min walk. Otherwise streeet/metered parking and paid parking structures all over downtown“
“I have been ordering pasta at Z Pastabar for many years and also from their various locations in LA.The food is always very tasty, consistent and the portion are very generous. Perfect for lunch and dinner. My fav is the chicken pesto with a side order of extra grilled shrimps making a wonderful surf and turf recipe. The smoke salmon pasta Alfredo and the Shrimp Vodka sauce pasta are excellent !Vegetarian options: Large selection of greens and vegetables.“
“Needed a spot for a business lunch and this wasPERFECT! (Thank you fellow Yelpers!)There was a casual elegance, but so understated. They had nice music playing to set a pleasant tone, but it wasn't intrusive. Just a really nice vibe.Fabulous attentive service, too. Never rushed, but always aware. Perfect, actually.I've spent a lot of time in Milan and northern Italy, but wasn't too familiar with many of the dishes, as the menu focuses on southern Italian cuisine. Our waiter was wonderful and his suggestions were great. Turns out his mom is the chef.:-) Which explains why everything tasted so real and remarkably delicious! We started with the Zepelotti - Fried pizza dough balls stuffed with parma prosciutto, arugula, burrata and balsamic reduction. They were like little sandwiches with a delightful combination of flavors. So very good. The pasta was cooked perfectly, fresh and al dente. All hand made. Truly remarkable and authentically Italian. The wines were quite good, too. I had the Montepulciano and my friend had the Sangiovese. We both were quite pleased.Tutto era perfetto! Grazie!Parking: Plenty of street parking“
