“This is my go-to spot with my cousin and some girlfriends. We usually get the mushroom pizza and the garlic bread knot. The drinks are always great (we alternate between their cocktails and the wines). We especially love the outdoor patio area—the ambiance is nice and relaxed. It's a spot that we will definitely come back to again and again.“

“Honestly, most of the pizzas I had in LA were either too salty or just average.
But SAMO PIZZA is the real deal.

We had the BBQ chicken pizza and the pepperoni supreme, and all 10 of us ate until we were full.
The taste was absolutely perfect—worth every bit of the time and money.

“Prime Pizza is a hot pizza spot within LA, for the size of this NY style pizza is well worth its cost! The staff is so friendly every time i come here. They offer by the slice, whole pizzas, square pizza and sides + beverages!

What i ordered: (shared amongst 3)
-pepperoni added jalapeño round pie: 8/10, ringing in about $30, very fulling and crunchy crust
-garlic knots: 7/10, paired very well with the marinara sauce given to you, $5, very garlicy which i love as a garlic gal“

“I love pizza have one once a week we are from Iowa and we're in town visiting our daughter, the amount of ingredients is unbelievable and they know about each one because their menu changes, but the most shocking thing was how quick we got our pizza I bet 5 minutes and it wasn't just us everyone got their pizza that fast plus the waiter gave us a loaf of sourdough bread they just made. I just loved it and can't wait to get back.“

Amazing cocktails, the bartenders do a great job serving everyone at the bar. Prices are respectable as well.

The vibe is great and cozy, dimly lit, and good music. It gets more packed after 8pm. We come often and it’s always a solid crowd.

Then here comes the pizza. A sleeper in la for exceptional Neapolitan style with an amazing amount of parm on top. A must have if you love pizza and a top contender for the best on the west side.“

“I stopped in for a late lunch on a Sunday afternoon and was greeted immediately and was directed to a booth. My friend ordered the Banh MI Bowl and I told her it was very good! I've had it before. I was craving the Thai Crunch Salad, Large. I couldn't finish it so I took the rest home and had it the next day and it was still yummy. The grilled chicken in this salad was cooked perfectly and the grilled taste, amazing!! Faruq, our server was On Point and was very attentive with a smile! He definitely has pride in his job, which is rare these days. I will return to those location again!“

“A friend and I visited Il Forno Trattoria last Saturday. After we left, my friend realised she had lost her grandmother's ring, of great sentimental value. We telephoned the restaurant even though it had already closed for the night, and the team immediately invited us back to search. When we arrived, the staff were cleaning up but had already started to look for the ring and helped us look through the restrooms and, kitchen. At least three or four employees actively helped, including providing gloves and helping us go through the trash to ensure it was lost in a restroom trash can. It was clear that everyone was genuinely concerned and willing to do whatever they could. Although the ring was not found, their professionalism, empathy, and willingness to stay late and actively help without question have left a lasting impression. I mustn’t forget the meal itself had been excellent: well‑prepared dishes, attentive yet unobtrusive service, and a well‑chosen wine list. Taken together with the staff’s extraordinary support, the experience showed Il Forno Trattoria at its best. It is the epitome of excellent service. Whether you are looking for quality Italian cuisine or a restaurant where the team truly cares about its guests, I cannot recommend Il Forno Trattoria highly enough.“

“I went in today for some food but I thought the food court was empty but I heard someone say hi welcome so it caught my interest and look it was pizza I love pizza. The young gentleman Gabriel was so enthusiastic and funny made my time enjoyable while I was there. Most definitely coming back for a slice again“

“I haven't tried the pizza yet, but want to sing the praises of the people who run the place. I'd gone in to get a coke (in a bottle,
one of the few places that has bottled Coke) for a scene in my acting class across the street. Turns out my car keys fell out of my purse and I didn't realize it..come midnight after class I was frantically searching the area and didn't find it. The next day I went back to keep searching. I remembered the Coke i bought and headed to check there. The pizza place was closed but the door was propped open so I went in calling for whom ever was in the back but no one heard me. That's when I spotted my keys off to the side of the counter! I can't tell you the relief and gratitude I felt. I want to thank the person who had the kindness to leave that door propped open and the key within sight. This pizza must be very good because there is love and wisdom at work here. Thank you!!“

Mimi is a warm, consummate professional who can handle anything, events-wise, and the space is versatile for any kind of casual and convivial gathering. This place is one of my favorite “third spaces” for working when I need a change of environment from the home office (there are tables that overlook the pool), painting (I’m a huge fan of the paint and sip classes) or just hanging out. Neighbors can consider it a great resource for meals and snacks off the beach (and anytime), entertaining for occasions and even just to grab a bottle of wine or party-food supplies for friends who drop by.
