“Love the atmosphere and the music. The food was good but there are some key points to take note of. The tortilla soup was distinctly lacking in salt to bring the flavors together and there were FAR too many carrots. It cam across very bland initially until I added a lot of salt. The Big Curious Salad was very tasty and the dressing light but flavorful. I added beef skewers to the salad and those skewers were AMAZING! Please note that the online photos show the big curious salad with avocado and clementine, that is not the correct photo as the big curious has neither of those ingredients. All in all an enjoyable meal.“
“This is a hole in the wall Cafe that's serve high quality food. I was thrilled to eggs and it was the real stuff not that powdered mix type of eggs. Daughter got pancakes of course which were on the spot. Wife got some chorizo dish that she enjoyed. Definitely going to make it a go-to spot for brunch.“
“Large, luscious burger, high quality meat, just dripping its juices and sauce I was soaking up with the fries, chasing every drop. And the fries -- creamy inside surrounded by perfectly crisp outsides, lovely light seasoning that's not salty. Oh, man, and my daughter loved her chicken sandwich and its (red) cabbage slaw. I had a taste of the slaw, now I'm tempted to have that sandwich next time just on the strength of the slaw. And all at a totally reasonable price, srsly. Nice people, too, and a quiet courtyard at the side for eating there. I can't wait to go back. I forgot to mention the buns were the kind that are soft but compress down as you bite to be part of the chewy yumcious. Just great.Vegetarian options: Veggie Burger“
“Great burger ... really great. Sadly, it's overpriced for what you get. It's a thing I would only get if the line was non-existent. Standing in a long line for an overpriced burger is over-rated.The fries are spectacular. They are cooked in beef tallow...like McDonalds did back in the day.“
“Our favorite burger. We love how the beef patty hangs out over the edge of the bun and is ever so slightly charred and crispy. Fries and onion rings are really good too. Staff has always been friendly.Parking: Lots of parking in city structures, First 90 minutes free.“
“Great halal spot. Tried the OG dog (good but feel it’s overpriced) and the buffalo chicken fries (these were great). The girl at the front was super friendly! The place is clean and well maintained. There is indoor and outdoor seating available.“
“Very busy, order at the bar, open a tab, food is delivered to your table. Really delicious, creative, non-traditional dishes. The staff were super busy and nice.Dietary restrictions: We did not try to ask to change anything, but menu says no substitutions or changes. The burger had bleu cheese which was fine with us but we wondered what they do if you don’t want that.“
“I’ve been alive for 32 years and the chicken sandwich served here is the best I ever had! My daughter was speechless while eating her burger and said it was the best she’s also ever had! You are missing out if you don’t eat here. The breading on the chicken was even delicious on its own and that’s never the case.“
“I love George’s Burgers. I always drove by it and finally had the chance to go in today. This diner is popping and the ambiance is great. I got the lunch combo which included a burger, fries, and a drink for under $15. the service and food were great. I will come back again 10 out of 10.“
“How have I lived here for as long as I have without knowing about this little gastronomical gem. A friend introduced me one night and I was instantly hooked on the place and the Pono burger with the Pono sauce. I’m a fan of sweet potato fries and those were quite divine, aioli on the side. We just went back for a casual Sunday lunch as our last food hoorah after Thanksgiving. That LUNCH! Perfection. Highly recommend. Have the spicy marg to go along with it. Light, refreshing, also perfection. Pono appetit!“
“A pub located on Santa Monica Beach, about 30 minutes by Uber from Los Angeles International Airport.Light music plays, and you can watch sports such as the NBA on the screen. There are many craft beers available, and the medium size of $11 can be considered a large size for Japanese people. Fish and chips also come in half sizes. (lol)There were three options for the tip at checkout: 18%, 20%, and 25%, or you could customize it by writing it yourself. When I visited Las Vegas over 10 years ago, it was 10, 15, 20%. . This may also be due to the effects of inflation.“
“I'm an Irish guy from Glendale and a US veteran to boot, been to a lot of restaurants and bars... this pub is wonderful. Love the food, atmosphere, and people that work there are great peps. The owner is a super friendly guy "Willy" and was always walking around talking to people, like a good business owner will do. No wonder this bar has been and is a staple for Santa Monica. Parking is okay, but it's Santa Monica! Lol Anyways, love this bar! Next time I'll take a picture of the Irish breakfast that I ordered on Saturday 03/16/24. It was GREAT!“
“A perfect date spot! The food is delicious. The fruit was perfectly ripe, the scones were delicious. We got the pasta papa and the California omelette. Sooo good. We ate outside and the view is lovely. A very chill vibe. Our server Jason was awesome, very attentive and friendly. He really brightened our morning and made us feel very welcome!“
“Lovely place, great atmosphere, music and good food. Visited last year. The staff was very friendly, we were short on cash and had just too little for the beers. The employee gave us the beer for free, because a good burger should come with a beer. Fantastic!“
“This is a great place with a fun atmosphere for a date or friend dinner. I love how the menu has both entrees or a bunch of substantial smaller plates (not appetizers) that can be combined to make a meal out of. The deviled eggs and Brussel sprouts are menu staples and the meatloaf is my “
“First off, do not come here for a stand-alone restaurant dining experience. It's more like an indoor food truck, and is an extension of the brewery.Yes, it's expensive. You're in Santa Monica, if you want to eat cheap go somewhere else..The food is tasty and they'll bring it to the table while you drink delicious local beer.Mandatory service charges help provide more consistent earnings for staff ??“
“I love this place, have been coming here from before the pandemic to now as I am returning to Smc. And I will continue to support this establishment. Its small but hearty. The food is great and the customer service is welcoming and friendly.Parking: If youre a student at Smc, you can just walk it there. I do, I just park in the parking lot 3 of Smc. If you dont attend, then parking will be difficult as the lot is small and fills up quickly.Wheelchair accessibility: Theres a ramp to go inside, but the restaurants dining area is a bit cramped.“
“Good burgers and fries. You can get burger, fries and a drink for around 10 USD. I wish they had more seats, but I think most people get takeout. You can purchase everything on a touch screen and pay on the machine. When they have made your order they will call you and you go pick it up.You can refill on drinks and they also have hot peppers and jalapeños that you can grab as well.Good place to come with friends.“
“Nestled within the vibrant community of The Shores, The Cafe beckons with promises of culinary delights and warm hospitality. Intrigued by its reputation for fusion cuisine and cozy ambiance, I recently embarked on a gastronomic journey to uncover the treasures hidden within.I had the chance to try their new item Kimchi Fried Rice Bowl, I was immediately transported to a realm of savory bliss. The rich umami flavors of the kimchi mingled harmoniously with the hearty goodness of the fried rice, creating a symphony of tastes that danced upon my palate. Each forkful offered a delightful contrast of textures—crispy on the outside, tender on the inside—and left me craving more with every bite. The addition of perfectly cooked vegetables added a refreshing touch, while the subtle heat of the kimchi provided a satisfying kick that lingered pleasantly on the tongue.“
“Popped in here on a Friday night recently and really enjoyed it! About an hour before close and they were busy but service was great. We were tempted by some of the tots starters but stayed with our burgers...I had a patty melt and my companion had a burger. Both were well prepared and tasted great! Had a real neighborhood feel. This restaurant is in a cluster of places in a mini courtyard. Parking is either on the street, or if you go around back there's a ramp down to parking below. Be careful not to park in the reserved spots. Meters on the street stop taking money at six, so that's where we ended up.“
“Great service with a great atmosphere! I've been here quite a few times and each time the Lazy Daisy does not disappoint. The food is always delicious and fresh. I would absolutely would recommend it especially to students near Santa Monica College.“
“As of July 17, 2023 this location is still the BEST!I've said it before and I'll say it again! Fatburger is one of the greatest places that I have ever dined. I've been here so many times! Everything on the menu is wonderful, especially the "Fatburger." Delicious and tasty! I want to also add that this restaurant really sets the bar high for cleanliness and friendliness. Just stopped in on Sunday May 23rd, 2021and wanted to edit my review to say that as soon as I walked into the store everybody asked me how I was doing! That in itself is excellent customer service!“
“Went here with my family and it was busy right up until 3pm. We had a double pram and it was tight and not heaps of room to park inside. We were seated promptly and asked if we wanted to swap when a booth became free, but we managed fine on the stools.Ordered two burgers, (one a double) one kids hotdog and fries and shake. Another shake and a coke plus some onion rings. All the food was delicious and brought out fairly promptly.Cost was just over $40 + tip.Other than a bit tight for a big pram i would come back again.I came back again, still excellent.“
“Found a new fave breakfast burrito spot. This place has a lot of options. Juices and drinks. Can order to go or sit here. Has enough seats for 15 people. The burrito was filling and delicious ! The tater totes added a nice crunch. The amount of eggs and avocado were perfect. Parking is free. They are friendly. Their hot sauce is bomb. Would come back!“
“Waiting for the doctor. Do doctors eat burgers? I always think doctors are the healthiest people on earth. If I were a doctor... And I am, I would never eat bad food. Seeing sick people all day would make me want to research what's making these people sick. And lucky you, I've figured it out. The think that makes people sick and and the key to a long and healthy life is....Find out on my new TV show, "King Healthiest MD" this coming fall on the HGTV. I'll cover what you can eat and who wore the best outfits to the golden globes. K bye.“
“Everything was perfect great food great staff. On point.Addition to this review i just had a number 3 double quarter pounder with cheese meal and I'll tell you what when i saw the burger i just had to prep it for a photo with the meal. It's hardly ever that any burger is prepared so well that it looks better then the menus photo.Might I add the flavor was the best double quarter pounder with cheese sandwich i have ever had and I've been to all over a couple hundred mcdonalds across the United States kudos to the staff who cooked and prepared this sandwich. The fries also on point.I'm not sure what the management is doing here but it sure as hell makes everything flawless on comparison to its competitors.“
“The house limo is great. The food is ok. The hamburger is pretty dry. Too little sauce. But the ingredients are fresh. The cheese dog is ok too. All in all it's edible but compared to other burger shops I can't understand why it's so hyped here.“
