Taking the chance to quit their corporate jobs in 2006, they’ve been able to fuel their business from their personal relationship and their love for European luxury caffe culture. A fun fact, Caffe Luxxe is the first of its kind in L.A. for artisan coffee preparation, and boy golly, it is not one to miss at any of its So Cal locations. “Ordered online for pickup for my work staff and drove over. Food was ready when I got there so I picked up and drove back to work…once I arrived I noticed the $4 cookie I paid for wasn’t included in the bag…

Called to let them know about the issue and goes straight to voicemail that explicitly states they don’t check their voicemails…

Overall food is good…that’s why we go here but the customer support and feedback should be an easier experience.

“I love this place because it has a down to earth, local feel. It’s not as “vibey” as some of the other local coffee shops, but that’s actually kind of nice because it makes Love feel more relaxed and unpretentious. Lots of people always working on their computers here. I usually bring my dog and they always give her a treat. Very sweet staff!

However, we end up losing the experience of stepping into a kooky hole-in-the-wall place that has clearly made customers happy for many years. UnUrban Coffee in Santa Monica is one of those hidden gems that can be the home for many fun experiences. Whether you’re stopping by to pick up your morning brew, reuniting with a long-time friend, or happen to be there to witness some type of cool live performance in their stage area, you’re sure to feel perfectly at home. The first thing that you’ll notice about UnUrban is that it’s heavily influenced by art, which is clearly showcased from its building artwork, outdoor furniture, and even its logo. Using red oolong instead of the usual black tea gives the drink a unique depth of flavor that’s smooth, fragrant, and not overly sweet. The brown sugar boba had the perfect chewy texture and paired beautifully with the tea.
Overall, it’s a fantastic drink in a great location, and I’ll definitely be coming back to try more from the menu.“

“Fabulous hyper-farm-to-table food by a creative chef, on Main St in Santa Monica. I’ve tried the Gazpacho, the many Danish Rye toasts with what is fresh that day: eggs, salmon roe, avocado or ....? They also have baristas that make all type of drinks. My fab place to indulge healthy and fresh“

“One of the most unassuming donut shops in Santa Monica that cranks out perfect donuts and croissants. They also offer fresh juices which are popular with everyone. You know its a serious donut shop when they offer two sizes of apple fritters! They have great ham & cheese croissants, ready to go or they'll warm it up for you.
