I love the unique sweets and drinks. Their raspberry soft top is amazing. It’s not overly sweet and pairs so well with their coffee.

“Layla Bagels is a uniquely special bagel place with creative flavors and addictively good & chewy bagels .

I got the Evil Steve on a jalapeños cheddar bagel for brunch and it was perhaps the best brunch bagel of my life ! The combination of slightly spicy pepper jam with tangy goat cheese smear and delicious smoked turkey wrapped in the jalapeño cheese bagel is extraordinary. Best part was the crunchy and crispy shallots to add that final profile in an already special bagel . Out of this world good .

They are also offering a gluten free bagel which is also rare to see .

If Layla were to ever expand to other states they would have a huge following.

“This cafe and Juice bar STOLE our hearts! A MUST when in San Diego and La Jolla. I mean, WOOOOWWW! We were able to sneak in a quick breakfast before our whale tour at the Little Italy location, and thank goodness we did! My only regret is not visiting every single day for their exceptional breakfast and high-quality juices! I ordered the All I Avo Wanted - Blue corn, waffle, smashed avocado, feta, shaved radish, over easy egg, chili flakes, hemp seeds, salsa macha. I mean, holy moly. The delivery was beautifully executed and built perfectly. The blue corn waffle was moist yet firm. My mother ordered the Shakshuka - another favorite dish of mine that WOWed. You can not go wrong with Parakeet. Thank you to the divine chefs and baristas - you made Parakeet the most beloved restaurant during our time in California!!!“

I walked in while waiting for an MRI appointment next door and discovered one of those small neighborhood cafés that reminds you why independent businesses matter.

The pistachio latte was the best I've ever had, the coffee and snacks were excellent, and the service couldn't have been better.

The owner, Timothy, was genuinely welcoming and a fantastic conversationalist. I ended up spending my extra time chatting with him, and it turned what could have been an anxious morning into an unexpectedly enjoyable one.

He mentioned that his family came to this country through Ellis Island, and there was something refreshingly authentic about the whole experience. Just warm, friendly, old-fashioned customer service from someone who clearly cares about both his customers and his business.

I'll absolutely stop back the next time I'm in the neighborhood.“

Every bean here feels carefully chosen, every cup made with intention. It’s clear that quality matters more than trends (ok, I exaggerate a bit, but that is ok?! ;-)). “Splurge Café is such a hidden gem in Beverly Hills! It’s inside an office building on Wilshire, so you might miss it if you’re just walking by, but it’s definitely worth stopping in. The place is super convenient, clean, and has a really easy vibe for grabbing something quick.

I love that the food is fresh and not just your standard “grab and go” stuff — they’ve got good salads, sandwiches, smoothies, and even ice cream if you’re in the mood for a treat. The staff is always nice and quick, which makes it perfect for a lunch break or a pick-me-up between errands.

“Since they have introduced VEGAN soups, the delite of this has brought in many others besideS myself MORE OFTEN! They started a few weeks ago with a potato porage type soup which was so delicious, we had hard time not ordering more...the second vegan soup was one with garbanzo beans with other really delicious quality CONTENTS & taste. “I just happened upon this place and didn’t realize how popular it was until I sat in the shop for a bit!

There is a small parking lot and I was able to easily find a spot (one hour limit). I also walked right up to the counter to place my order for the sweet corn latte and it was one of the best I’ve had in a LONG time!

The presentation is beautiful and the corn crunchies on top taste kind of like Sugar Corn Pops cereal but not as sweet. The cold foam was rich and stayed a float for the most part. I took a seat while I waited for them to make my latte and there was a constant line out the door with just about every seat taken and standing room only while people waited for their drinks.

Before I left, I ordered a Matcha Cream Top and although I couldn’t really taste the salted matcha cream top, the matcha was tasty! I also wanted to buy their coffee beans but they don’t sell them unfortunately!

Can’t wait to come back and try more of their offerings…“

“The men’s restroom is in disrepair with a light fixture having one out of two bulbs out and the blow dryer for your hands isn’t working properly and the sink fixture is falling apart. I consulted Blanche the manager and she told me the inside is do for a refresh June 20th and those things should be addressed. The bathroom is very dark. My ice coffee was made correctly and folks working were very cordial. Prices were a dollar more compared to other Beverly Hill Starbucks but that’s not a big deal. Outside and inside seating is pleasant. Music is nice and still you can hear on a phone call and speaking to one another. Come to this one now or after the refresh.“

They are so light and wobbly that leaning on one or even setting down your drink feels risky.
