“This has the best view! Customer service award goes to Andrea! She’s the only one who has a smile on her face everyday even when it’s crazy busy. I come here everyday. The others either have no idea what they are doing or are on their cell phone and get the order wrong. Thanks Andrea!“

“Phenomenal service and amazing Gelato in the Italian style from Argentina 🇦🇷. Very friendly and welcoming. Lots of places to sit, work, visit. They've even got a back patio with gorgeous umbrellas. Great wifi and also coffee options. Support local and come enjoy some of the best coffee and dessert in LA“
“This coffee shop became the star of our trip. We stopped here on our way down to Newport with my kids and parents. The coffee and hot chocolate were so good, my kids and parents are begging to drive up from our Newport rental just to stop here again. The barista really cared about his craft, which is not something we see a lot of where we are from. This random stop for coffee was such a highlight for my family and we will definitely go out of our way to come here again next year.“

“This cafe is wonderful...they have really good overnight oats and their iced honey lavender lattes are delicious (I know...sounds different, but seriously try it!) The owner is super friendly and the cafe has many places to sit to enjoy your coffee. Will definitely come back:)“

“We randomly ended up to this restaurant: small, but pleasant, the type of place where you can talk with your friends. Party of three, we had the fish carpaccio, the octopus, and the burger (gourmet burger!). Everything was prepared to perfection. They will definitely see us again.“
“Love this place, staff is friendly and owners too. coffee is great and I'm very picky about coffee! free Wi-Fi is nice too!“

“Amazing coffee and drinks but even more amazing service. I stopped in recently postpartum with my toddler in tow and unfortunately spilled my drink everywhere as I was trying to leave. Hanna and Mher kindly helped me immediately and remade my drink. Totally saved my day!“

“Real as it gets. Really good coffee. Got the cream top drink, sweet cream on top and long black underneath. I didn't know what long black is so for those like me, it's like an Americano except the espresso is poured on top of water (rather than the water into the espresso) which apparently makes it taste richer.
Idk about all that hoopla, but here's what I can tell you, it tastes damn good.
With each sip you get the perfect mix of flavors. First you taste the rich, strong, and bitter (in the best way) coffee - which also has a tiny hint of orange which works wonderfully. Then, just as it's about to become overpowering, you get the sweet cream on the back of the tongue, balancing it out. Each sip was a delight.
That said, by the time I was 70ish% done, I wasn't enjoying it as much. I'm unsure why, but wanted to share my honest feedback. I really wanted to like it as much as I first did, but toward the end maybe the balance was off or something, or the underlying flavors didn't work as well as I thought, but didn't like it as much.
Still, I will return. Very good coffee.“

“This isn't a coffee shop. It's a communal space. The coffee is basically free if you think of your donation as more of a rental fee to be in this lovely communal space and have access to all that it offers. This place is ideal for making plans with business partners, writing scripts with friends, or just getting together for some time away from screens and computers. This place is tailored toward bringing diverse people together into one place to sharing ideas and stories with each other. As for the coffee and baristas both are fantastic. Cappuccino rocked me off my behind all day cuz I'm used to watered down crappuccinos from Starbucks. I love this place. This is where I bring friends that love good coffee and a peaceful conversation.“

“**A sweet slice of heaven in Santa Monica!** Junior Cookies is an absolute *gem*. I came in for the cookies (which are AMAZING – warm, gooey, and perfectly crisp on the edges), but I stayed for the whole vibe. Their ice cream is ultra creamy with rich, dreamy flavors that pair perfectly with the cookies—highly recommend making your own cookie cream with ice cream with cookies! I was also pleasantly surprised by how good their coffee is. It’s bold, smooth, and just what I needed to balance out the sugar rush. Honestly, it’s rare to find a cookie shop where the coffee actually stands out, but Junior Cookies gets it right. Best coffee, best cookies, best matcha, and best ice cream in la! The place is super cute inside, with a cozy neighborhood feel and friendly staff who seem genuinely happy to be there. You can tell everything is made with love. The cookies and recipes are unique. 5 star bakery in LA. If you're in Santa Monica, **don’t miss this spot**. Whether you’re craving dessert, a caffeine fix, or just want to treat yourself, Junior Cookies delivers!“

“Awaken Cafe is a wonderful little spot in LA with great coffee, delicious drinks, and fresh pastries. The atmosphere is warm, welcoming, and family-friendly. It’s a great place to meet friends, bring the kids, or just relax with a good cup of coffee. Definitely worth stopping by if you’re in the area! ☕“

“I just ordered for the first time today and I must say your food is fantastic! Generous portion with pickles and delicious soft boiled eggs, pickles, puréed fresh tomatoes and a small amount of hot sauce that isn’t too hot. Just right. Went to your place near corner of Van Nuys and Burbank. HIGHLY RECCOMENDED“

“Not a single complaint. The lavender raf is better than any raf or lavender latte I've tried, and the fig leaf cold brew would top my list of cold brews. Service was friendly, latte art was great, and even the packaging & branding are memorable. If there's better coffee in LA, I haven't found it yet“

“Kafe K was absolutely incredible! The level of service they provided clearly reflects that everyone I met genuinely loves their work. I had a few hours to spare, and they ensured I was completely taken care of, even offering me a sample of their delicious smoothie (thank you!). I also observed that each customer who walked in was greeted with big smiles. The atmosphere was warm and inviting every single time. This truly demonstrates the love and patience each team member has for their role. Coming from out of town, I found the friendliness here to be a refreshing change. Without a doubt, it’s the best cafe I’ve been too in a very long time. They also offer vegan options like the yummy avocado toast, which was perfect for me. Overall, it’s a solid 10 across the board. Thank you to everyone at Kafe K! I’ll definitely stop by again the next time I’m in town. Plus, they're dog-friendly and even provide water and food for your furry friends. I loved my experience here! Thank you for allowing me to stay as long as I needed. You are all amazing!“

“Between a 3 and 4 star for the following reasons:
Cons: the salmon in the bowl was too fishy for my liking even though the rest of the bowl was good. My friend said her raw tuna was fine though. They give all iced drinks in plastic cups for sit down, that is not ok in 2026. The noise inside is unbearably loud with no sound proofing and loud pop music on top of that. Wish they did table service though I won’t hold that against them since a lot of places make you order at the counter as well.
Pros: beautiful beachy decor, clean, great friendly service, delicious matcha and other than the salmon the food was delicious.
All in all will come back and see if the other dishes are good.“

“This coffee hub in Venice feels like the moment Abbot Kinney’s creative pulse meets the precision of third wave coffee. Opened in 2009, it helped define Venice’s modern café culture by turning coffee brewing into something closer to a performance than a transaction.
You step through the brick archway into a bright industrial space where baristas work in the open, pulling espresso and pouring filter coffees with the kind of care that makes you slow down and actually watch. The vibe channels Venice’s blend of artistry and edge with a mix of locals, creatives, and caffeine purists who treat this spot like a daily ritual. It is one of those rare cafés where the coffee is flawless, the energy feels alive, and the entire experience captures the spirit of Venice without trying too hard.“

“After reading Google Reviews, this place was on our list for breakfast while visiting Calabasas. It's really an old diner with good old fashioned breakfast. Service was really good, breakfast was great and selection on the menu was awesome. While we got lucky finding a parking spot on a busy Sunday morning, I can see where that could be an issue.“

“This is my favorite go-to coffee shop. They have multiple single origin coffees that they rotate through. All of them taste really good. I love Ethiopia and Kenya. They also have Columbia, Laos that's really good. They've nailed coffee really well. I have had other coffee shops I've liked but when they rotate the coffee, some blends dont taste good. Marionette however is so damn good every single time. My go-to drink is iced oat milk latte.“

“Very cute coffee shop. They have tables outside and inside. Has a good amount of space. I came here because this coffee shop donates parts of their profits to an organization that supports immigrant families. Its a very noble thing to do. Owner was very nice and staff was super friendly and helpful. Place got a little busy when we were there but they were pretty organized for how busy they were. Coffee was delicious. I ordered a regular latte with whole milk and liquid sugar. Very good. The food was delicious too. I got the raspberry croissant and that was also a treat. The Sourdough toast with Salmon and avocado was really good too. I will definitely be back.“

“This place is amazing! They have an AWESOME happy hour and the setting (half open air bar and seating + half inside spacious restaurant) is honestly perfect for LA. Great vibes. Fantastic staff across the board. I love everyone there and wish I knew all of their names because I have only had good experiences, but Aria and Jake are two recent favorites. Highly recommend The Henry for brunch, dinner, drinks, or as mentioned - happy hour!“

“These guys have the BEST breakfast chorizo burrito. It’s so good, and healthy. Their coffee is great too, I typically have only gotten their iced lattes and chai lattes. The place is cute too with tabletop chess boards to play if you dine in, which I’ve also done a couple times. I frequent here a lot, mostly takeout but enjoy dining in when I have time too. This place is so unassumingly amazing.“

“I live in Northern California and no matter matter the reason, no matter where is SoCal I go I will go out of my way to stop at Supa at least once before going home. Coffee is excellent and their specials are amazing.
If I happen to be down here with friends, stopping here is always a condition of the trip and they become equally obsessed with coffee and atmosphere of this place.
The staff is awesome. They know me even though I don't live here and will ask me what concert I am here for... because 8 times out of 10 that is why I am here, LOL.
The shop is small with limited seating, but the vibes are amazing. I always feel at home when I come here.
This trip I got the one of thr specials and it was beyond good. And as always I got my fully loaded brick toast.
If you are here, you have to stop by. It is worth it!!“

“Highlights: vodka chicken cutlet (very good); dry red wine was very good (forget which one; happy hour price very solid)
Wouldn't get again: Pepperoni pizza (nothing special); focaccia (decent but came out lukewarm / cools off very quickly); cheesecake (too expensive for the size; wish it was served colder)
Too loud at night, kinda have to yell to talk.
Really cool vibe; love that they're playing actual vinyl records.
Really cool Faema E61 espresso machine (didn't try any drinks from it tho).
Service is very good.“

“I write for a music and coffee blog called Crooners In Coffeeshops, in which I interview local musicians at local coffeeshops. My writeup reflects the positive experience that I encountered at Cognoscenti Coffee on our interview date. Modern meets comfort with a hint of retro inside (and outside) Culver City’s Cognoscenti Coffee. Don’t let its small exterior fool you, because once you step inside you will be welcomed by a slew of cute bistro tables, industrial benches, and colorful chairs. But wait, there’s more! Veer to the right and catch a breath of fresh air in their somewhat secluded patio area. Whether you’re meeting with your bestie or having a writer’s meeting, you will easily be able to find a space to fit however many people in your party. Now let’s get to the good stuff! Cognoscenti’s beverage menu is comprised of the classics along with fun seasonal recipes in the mix. My drink of choice, the surprisingly refreshing Turmeric Latte. I wasn’t quite sure what I was getting myself into, but I’m very glad that my day to be adventurous was an enjoyable one with its perfect ratio of milk to spice. Hungry? Check out their selection of huge (and I mean huge) pastries to fill you up for breakfast or to hold you over until your group dinner in one of the Downtown Culver restaurants.“
