Based on the reviews, Starbucks Coffee Company has multiple locations. The Pacific Palisades location, tucked at the edge just off the PCH, is described as the best. It is a good place to visit on a winter afternoon for a refreshing drink, with seats outside on the swings and a little park. The staff is wonderful, friendly, and deserves an Awards. However, the food and coffee is standard Starbucks fare, just a step or two above hospital food. This location is one of the few in LA that still has power outlets, though they have started removing tables. The Highlands location is a different story, with extremely disappointed management. The staff refused a one-time, five-minute exception for a time-sensitive emergency regarding a dog, prioritizing rigid gatekeeping over customer service. For a 'third place' with actual community spirit, the Montana Ave location or the library is recommended instead.
