People are working, reading, or chatting quietly, making it a great spot to focus and get things done.

“Okay so this place is truly a Gem. I ordered the Jambon beurre and OMG so delicious. I got a whole sandwich which is totally worth the price, my picture only shows half because I inhaled the other half lol. Their baguettes are baked in house daily and it shows, they are crispy and just amazing. Got flash backs from Paris, they were that good!

I also got the pink latte but you can skip on that unless you need a mid-day pick me up. For me it was past noon so I probably should have gotten the lemonade instead. It messes up my sleep if I drink coffee past 12 pm.

Highly recommend this place it will HIT the spot! Staff were also friendly and made sure to verify my order. Great all around“

“Needed a quick afternoon pick me up, and found this gem. We also realized that we needed food before more caffeine, and their cheeseburger hand pie and hashbrown spam masubi were sooooo good. I had a classic vanilla late and my friend had the Thai tea coffee. Great find.

“Great cafe. I came here again recently and ordered a macchiato (traditional) and it was excellent. Was very pleased, because these can be hard to find in LA done correctly. You can tell they care about coffee here and the service and atmosphere was very nice. I haven’t tried the food yet, but overall great addition to the neighborhood!“

“This is one of my favorite coffee spots. I particularly love their matcha latte. I get an iced oat milk matcha with the vanilla sweetener and it's the perfect level of sweetness and tastes amazing every time. The owners are so sweet and put so much care and time into every drink they make. The coffee has always been consistently good. So glad to have a place like this in the South Bay!“

“We loved our visit to Camel this morning. I’ve been out of the city for a while and I’m happy to see such a unique shop pop up. It reminded me of Star Wars inside ? obviously desert themed. Super sick. Love the seating upstairs. But most importantly the staff were very pleasant and the coffee was so good. I love when everything works in unison at a shop like that. Perfect americano. “Had lunch here while visiting from San Diego for the day. Had the chicken pesto panini, butternut squash soup, along with a latte and americano. Everything was so good. Perfect amount of pesto on the sandwich (most restaurants skimp on the pesto) and soup was seasoned so well. Got a chocolate chip cookie and snickerdoodle cookie to-go and they tasted delicious. Service was great and I appreciated that the staff making sure we had the plates and utensils we needed when they brought our food and drinks to the table. Highly recommend getting a bite to eat here. Will be going back when I’m in town.“

“This is the best matcha in LA. I get a dirty matcha with oat milk and their homemade lavender syrup and it’s insane. They use ceremonial matcha too! The texture of the drink so so silky and amazing. A must try. Not expensive at all and you can get stamps to work towards a free drink! ?

It’s also a dream if a vibe in there.“

“My favorite coffee spot in LA. Their Vienna latte is top tier but my favorite drink is the buttercream latte. It literally tastes like a werther’s caramel. The parking lot is TINY but there are meters around. The shop is also small with just 3 tables so it really is more of a grab and go place than a hang out.“

“My new favorite breakfast/brunch spot in MB!!! Cozy vibes with great coffee and food. The best part is the service - our server Ruben is awesome. He’s been our server the last couple of times I’ve been here and he’s the best. 10/10!!!!“

“The frappés are creamy, flavorful, and packed with boba goodness. Whether you prefer classic milk tea or fruit-infused concoctions, there's a flavor for everyone. The taiyaki – (fish-shaped treats) are crispy on the outside and filled with a warm, sweet filling. If you're craving a satisfying and delicious treat, give Boba Sound a shot.“

“Cool little spot! Very good coffee and a really nice seating environment, almost like an outdoor tech office. There's even a ping-pong table and ample visitor parking.

Finally, a place around here that sells a mocha with more than two atoms of chocolate in it. Great coffee flavor as well, it's clear they care about the quality of their drinks. I intended to try a pastry as well, but there were no posted prices and most of their stuff was sold out in the afternoon when I visited.

Minus a star for the price of their coffee. $6.75 for an oat milk mocha is criminal, albeit similar to other trendy shops in the county. Knock $1-2 off the menu items and this place is a winner.“

“This is such a cool coffee shop. It’s very aesthetic and the drinks are incredible. The staff are very friendly. Once I came in here and I was having a bad day. I was chatting with the barista with the leopard print hair about seeing famous people around LA, including at Jurassic magic but not that day. And he said “well you’re a celebrity here” and it was just so kind. I haven’t forgotten it. And I can’t emphasize how much I love the coffee and I’m pretty picky.“

“got the matcha einspanner one with regular milk and one with oat! the oat is definitely better because you can taste the matcha more. Definitely would come again for this drink; so creamy and perfect enough to satisfy a matcha craving.
Only downside would be the extremely tight parking and crowded atmosphere inside the cafe when there’s a rush. Other than that staff was extremely friendly and patient too!“

“This might be my favorite new specialty drink in the city of LA. Georgia on my mind is awesome. I wanted it to be decaf, but they don’t have decaf coffee, so they made it as an iced decaf latte and added vanilla syrup and orange dust. Absolutely delicious.“

“Vibes are sooooo on point. Each seating area provides a different experience, a different function. The decor comes together so well, especially with how each area in the space has something unique to offer.
For food and drinks, we had a hojicha JBS, a mocha, and a matcha donut. The hojicha was good but the mocha was gross. Too acidic with no mocha flavor to it. The matcha donut was tasty. It’s not a normal donut; it’s spongy and a tiny bit dense at the center.“

“This place is very understated. They clearly want to deliver high quality and don't make a big deal of it. The only thing I would change Is the coffee ratios - I think the flat white has too much milk but that's a small point (I don't know what the espresso to milk ratios are in their other drinks). Maybe an ounce or two less milk would be good? I am really glad I found this place.“

“This cafe offers very unique drinks that are otherwise hard to come by in America. The persimmon milk sounded the most intriguing, and it did not disappoint. The chunks of fresh persimmon are amazing in the milk, reminiscent of jelly drinks, and it was not too sweet. The black sesame latte was also amazing. It has a rich nutty sesame flavor and was complimentary to he added espresso. The injeolmi latte was great, but when mixed with espresso, it was overpowered: it became a simple latte with soy milk. The best part of these 2 lattes was dipping the tteok into the cream foam on top. Both flavors were heavenly. The service was friendly and there is a lot of space.“

“Love the vibe here I often get Uji matcha here. I think drink itself is good. But for matcha, sometimes it comes out with no clumps sometimes it has lots of clumps (different barista) so it’s kinda random lol. I also tried Lox bagel which came out as just what I expected nothing special though (took about 10-15 to get it)“

“I came in a bit confused as it was my first time ordering for Alfred’s, Felipe just so happened to be at the front when he greeted me and knew I was very confused. I asked him if he had any recommendations and he recommended me the Lavender Matcha which did not disappoint at all, I also got the bagel he recommended me which I forgot what it had but bacon and avocado is a good mix that I doubted for a little bit. “Great place to get a coffee and do work. I like how the place to order coffee is in a different room from the seating, it helps preserve a quiet environment to get work done. Absolutely recommend the hot tiramisu latte. It comes with a chocolate wafer baton to sip out of and very tasty. Parking kinda sucks but you can snag a free spot near the residential streets. I would definitely bring a friend to this place.“

“This is a warm, welcoming place to grab a coffee (or other drink) and bring your computer. I come here weekly for the programmer meet-up, but I also come just to sip and relax. A very good crowd.

Vegetarian options: This place mostly serves desserts, which are all vegetarian. There are a few non-vegetarian sandwiches.“

“Open Market catered a wedding reception I was coordinating in October, and they were wonderful. Their restaurant is one of the bride's favorites, and they were great. The food is delicious, and I'm working on getting my husband over there soon. They couldn't have been more accommodating and flexible during the planning, and they were straight pros at the reception. As a planner, I love caterers that are easy to work with and easy for my couple's to work with, and it was a great experience for everyone.
