“Thank you, Saraiy, and the AM team this morning for the cheer of a pup 🐶 cup for my Scottish Terrier, Wallace. I’ve been a local here in Playa Vista since forever, and this location always has great vibes, especially during a Saturday morning market.“
“I’ve been at least 4-5 times now - obsessed with the vietnamese iced coffee! I get the mocha one. I love that they let you adjust the sweetness level and actually make your drink based on the sweetness request. My kid got a passion fruit tea with boba and loved it. I tried a sample of their matcha tea and it is the real deal. Amazing alternative to ⭐️💵, this is my iced coffee go-to in this area now!“
“Yes, Wholefoods is a bit expensive for certain items but it has so much choice and also has a lot of reasonable priced items! We wanted some food to go and had the vegan grilled vegetable sandwich and vegan smoky tempeh TTLA sandwich - these were both delicious! My favourite was the first and my boyfriend preferred the tempeh one! They also have vegan pizza to go if you're in the mood. I also couldn't resist getting a box of chocolate cookies and a chocolate vegan cupcake - all amazing. Updated from previous review on 2018-06-10“

“**A sweet slice of heaven in Santa Monica!** Junior Cookies is an absolute *gem*. I came in for the cookies (which are AMAZING – warm, gooey, and perfectly crisp on the edges), but I stayed for the whole vibe. Their ice cream is ultra creamy with rich, dreamy flavors that pair perfectly with the cookies—highly recommend making your own cookie cream with ice cream with cookies! I was also pleasantly surprised by how good their coffee is. It’s bold, smooth, and just what I needed to balance out the sugar rush. Honestly, it’s rare to find a cookie shop where the coffee actually stands out, but Junior Cookies gets it right. Best coffee, best cookies, best matcha, and best ice cream in la! The place is super cute inside, with a cozy neighborhood feel and friendly staff who seem genuinely happy to be there. You can tell everything is made with love. The cookies and recipes are unique. 5 star bakery in LA. If you're in Santa Monica, **don’t miss this spot**. Whether you’re craving dessert, a caffeine fix, or just want to treat yourself, Junior Cookies delivers!“

“Wow, randomly popped in for a matcha, & it's spectacular 👏
I got the Magic Matcha with pistachio milk & added cardamom. Beautiful flavor, consistency, & texture.
The cafe vibes are also very cool 😎👌“
“A cute coffee pit stop on the way to or from the beach. Even though thus far I’ve only had the coconut coffee tonic, the menu appears to be creative of sorts.
I asked for a splash of milk in the tonic and was pleasantly surprised that it was coconut. Vibes won’t win any awards just yet. However, I take into account that some people can be shy, and they warmed up a little on my second visit. Shout-out to Asher, who asked how my day was going.
Atmosphere gets a 3/5 because I didn't sit inside long enough to vibe out the vibe, and there's no restroom. Call me old-fashioned.
For now, it will be my new regular pit stop.“

“I've been there with my sister a couple months ago. We had Filipino iced coffee, matcha affogato and matcha cookies. We still can't forget the flavor of the drinks. Filipino iced coffee is our core memory of our trip to USA. The best coffee we've ever tasted.“

“Stopped by Be Bright Coffee and ordered a cortado made with their Colombia Paola Trujillo Wush Wush Natural. The coffee had tasting notes of blood orange, red currant, honeysuckle, and tart cherry juice, which made it a really interesting coffee to experience in a milk drink.
The cortado itself was very well executed. The milk had a smooth, creamy texture with strong integration, and the body remained cohesive throughout most of the drink. As I worked my way through it, the espresso and milk continued to hold together nicely without developing a thick or separated layer of foam. The tasting notes had good clarity and came through well in the milk. The latte art could have been a little cleaner and more defined, but that’s a minor presentation detail and didn’t take away from the quality of the drink.
My main technical feedback would be the temperature. It was served just slightly hotter than I think it should have been. The flavors were still clear from the beginning, but the difference became noticeable as the cortado cooled. The coffee really opened up, and those fruit-forward characteristics became even more expressive and enjoyable. Starting the drink at that slightly lower temperature would have made the experience feel more dialed in from the very first sip.
I gave Be Bright four stars, and part of that comes down to the $10 price of the cortado. At that price point, I think the expectations naturally move into a different category. When you’re paying $10 for a cortado featuring a coffee like this, I’m expecting the execution to be as close to perfect as possible. The slightly higher serving temperature, along with the minor presentation detail, was enough to keep this one from reaching that level for me.
The customer service was excellent. Everyone was friendly and welcoming, and the person working the register was especially nice and made the experience feel inviting. Overall, it was a very good cortado with quality coffee behind it, and I’d definitely return to try some of the other beans they offer.“
