“I am just going to say it, I am a coffee snob. Starbucks doesn't do it for me, but Philz really does! The honey haze cold brew is out of this world! Truly top notch. Strong and flavorful without being too sweet. I've tried several of their menu items and they are all fantastic! They have top quality pastries as well. I highly recommend the chocolate croissant with a coffee. I don't know how a chain could be this good, but it is.“
“Blue Butterfly Coffee Shop is a gem that deserves all five stars! I recently indulged in their breakfast bagel, and let me tell you, it was a taste sensation. The bagels are soft and chewy, the perfect canvas for their delicious toppings. While the bagel was a hit, I did notice that the matcha could've been mixed better. However, that minor hiccup was quickly forgotten once I took another bite of my scrumptious breakfast. One thing to note is the waiting system could use some improvement. It tends to get crowded quickly, especially towards the end of the bar where everyone naturally congregates. Nonetheless, the friendly staff does their best to keep things moving smoothly. On the bright side, Blue Butterfly offers plenty of indoor and outdoor seating options, catering to everyone's preferences. Whether you prefer soaking up the sun or cozying up indoors, there's a spot for you to enjoy your meal or drink.Overall, Blue Butterfly Coffee Shop is a delightful spot with tasty treats and a welcoming atmosphere. Despite a couple of minor hiccups, I'll definitely be returning to try more of their offerings.“
“I was visiting from outside of town looking for a good coffee to try in the morning. Any coffee house with the word 'roasters' in the name always enticed me to try it versus a regular coffee shop. Parking is not ideal so I recommend just going for street parking instead of attempting to drive in their little lot. It is shared with 2 other businesses and there's only 2 spaces actually reserved for the coffee house. It is a decent sized space with lots of seating available, especially for those that opt to work there. Can't comment on whether there are a lot of outlets available or not cause I was just in and out. But it is very quiet and calming space, very welcoming and would be a great place to sit and work at. There is just one register to order at and the cashier was very friendly and helpful when inquiring about their menu. I ordered the espresso dul'sal: an iced espresso that's whipped with cream and sugar, with a sprinkle of black salt on top to finish it off. HOLY COW I love this drink so much. The texture was creamy and velvety, like drinking a cloud! It wasn't overly sweet and the salt was such a nice pairing. I will never try another drink on this menu because it is my new obsession. When ordering there's a giant pastry cabinet next to the register and it's hard to ignore all of the goodies in there. I got a banana chocolate chip coffee cake and they warmed it up for me. It was so light and fluffy, not crazy sweet and the chocolate balanced everything out. Super good but I would still like to try other pastries they offer. This is my new go to when I'm in LA!“
“Cute gelato shop on main street Segundo. Absolutely delicious gelato, have tried several flavors including pistachio (best pistachio I've had in my life), dulce de leche, amarena cherry and stracciatella. All the flavors are exquisite. They also have home cooked meals like eggplant parmigiana to go.“
“I used to wait until 2am to buy donuts from the donut chain stores because I loved how fluffy and soft they were fresh but after finding Dough Boy Donuts, I don't have to do that anymore!Dough Boy's donuts are soft and fluffy all-day-long. I can walk in and grab a donut at 5pm and it still the softest donut for miles. They use a high quality flour for their donuts and it really makes the difference.Sometimes when I'm not in the area and want a donut I'll stop somewhere else and get some. They are never as good as Dough Boy's and half the time I have to spit out these other shop's donuts because of how terrible they are in comparison. If I'm eating the calories I don't want to waste them on some other store's tough, sub-par donut. It's Dough Boy's all the way.“
“Visit on 2/3/2024 4 stars for drinks and quality but improvements are needed. I've frequented **A Tea Moment** several times, and today's visit was consistent with my previous experiences. Let's dive into the details: 1. **Computer System and Rewards**: - The computer system is generally user-friendly, but adding rewards can be a bit confusing. Unfortunately, the connection between rewards and payment isn't straightforward, and it's not clearly explained on the **Toast app**. - Improved communication about this process would benefit customers. 2. **Helpful Staff**: - The staff is friendly and helpful. Their assistance enhances the overall experience. - However, there seems to be a gap in their training regarding the rewards system. Consistent training could address this issue. 3. **Teas**: - The teas at **A Tea Moment** are consistently good. Quality beverages are essential, especially for tea enthusiasts like me. 4. **Rewards System**: - Personally, I find the rewards system a bit off-putting. As a loyal customer, I'd appreciate a more straightforward approach. - Perhaps they can refine their rewards program to make it more appealing. 5. **Amusing Encounter**: - The group in front of me kindly let me go first because they were "lost" due to the computer system. It's a quirky situation! - Despite the system's quirks, I still enjoy my tea moments here. In summary, **A Tea Moment** offers delightful teas, friendly staff, and a unique computer system. If you're a tea lover, it's worth a visit. Cheers to more cozy moments with a cup of tea!“
“Love this location!!! Food options are great as with their other locations, but the baristas here are incredible. I often have trouble finding somewhere that actually gives me extra ice when I order it - but they nail it every time here. Flavors are consistently great too. Ambiance is awesome! I love the location other than the busy parking lot.“
“Tried their classic chocolate donuts, they were really tasty but be cautious as it's all highly processed sugar and just cause it tastes good doesn't mean it's good for body. Just once in a while is fine but don't get addicted cause this stuff is highly addictive lol. The workers were very nice and friendly.“
“Two Guns Kitchen is my go-to spot for a delicious coffee and a bite to eat. The unique coffee offerings are what keep me coming back for more; there's something for every coffee lover. The food options are equally impressive, with a menu that features a variety of items, including baked goods and sandwiches (my favorite is the smoked salmon avocado toast). The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, with a staff that always makes you feel welcome. I highly recommend Two Guns in El Segundo.“
“On my way to my volunteer shift at the, USO at LAX, I stopped here at 6:30. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with up beat greetings. It was a nice way to start the day. Customer service 10! Of course the coffee and breakfast sandwiche were a good start, too! Will definitely be back.“
“Smokey Hollow is convenient, quick and has an ambiance that is super chill and welcoming. The cafe is located in a building that’s walking distance from everything so no matter where I order from, my food will be hot and ready. If the food is not ready, there is a courtyard there where you can play ping pong, corn hole, or miniature golf while waiting. Plus the staff Johnny and Kush need a shoutout as they are pleasant and make amazing coffee drinks. I love working in this building and this one of the best amenities offered so prop to the building management team as well!“
“MRKT is great! I order from them a lot. The tuna melt is delicious and so is their MRKT bowl with beef bulgogi. I recently tried their tomato soup/grilled cheese combo. It was a little overpriced. The grilled cheese has A LOT of garlic (which tastes great) but you'll be tasting it for the rest of the day. The tomato soup was not as creamy as I'd like. Overall a great local place!“
“I love The Coffee Bean! This one is in an industrial park so it’s not as easily accessible. There is a small parking lot in the front that is 20-minutes only. You can also park in the parking structure, as they validate for 1-hour. The parking structure has an attendant to leave so you will pay past the hour. It’s not an issue if you are going for a quick coffee. Great place.“
“In terms of location and atmosphere, it is my top 5 Starbucks I have been so far.But after COVID fades away, I started noticing this Starbucks store’s music changed to more clubbing genre and louder. Today, I finally used my Apple watch to measure how loud the music is, which showed around 40-45 decibels. I was sitting at the far corner, away from cashier. I could not too focus on reading my book.I don't know if it is Starbucks policy to broadcast louder, pop music. I have not heard holiday music yet today. I feel the 3 ladies talking were "fighting" with the background music. I sent my feedback to Starbucks to clarify if it is their policy to broadcast a particular kind of music.Thank you.“
“Dropped in here a few times while in town during WrestleMania Weekend. The place is clean and service was fast! The staff are friendly and welcoming. My son enjoyed the clean table that allowed him a moment to sip down his drink and play with his toys.I'd stop by again if in the area even though there isn't a drive thru.“
“While vacationing we like to find local small businesses. I am so glad we found offset. We ate breakfast here every morning. We had the lox, avocado toast and an egg and bacon biscuit. These delicious dishes were made with fresh ingredients and were also visually appealing. The coffee is roasted here providing the best quality product. The talented baristas are super friendly and able to answer your questions. Ample parking is available next to the building and handicap parking and ramp are out front.“
