“Getting their ice cream truck at our office backyard and it’s warm sunny day so perfect timing! Plenty of flavors to choose from, which was basically different mix-ins blended with the vanilla soft serve base. They did offer chocolate one.

I went for the Hokey Pokey as I loved honeycomb and simply couldn’t resist that crunchy toppings! The order’s ready in a blink and there were several attendants serving at the same time so despite all of us tried to be there at similar time, we got our ice cream quickly!

“We searched the internet for the best breweries near LAX and Five Point Five Brewery did not disappoint. It was worthy of its 4.9 stars! The Hazy Daisy IPA was hoppy and delicious. We split our pizza. My husband had the GTX muscle car and I had the VW Bus!. The Detroit style pizza’s were fresh and the dough was perfection! Loved the warm and relaxed atmosphere. We will definitely visit again!“

The food is delicious and freshly prepared very similar to how they make it in Peru ( I was just in Lima , Peru about 10 days ago and this can tell the preparations are amazing). The mild and very hot sauces were a great addition to the flavor and taste. The red sauce is very hot and made with habanero peppers . The green sauce is very flavorful and tasty . The rice and bean combination was very good.“

“There are many sugary drink shops in El Segundo masquerading as coffee places. If you order a cup of black coffee at those places it will taste bitter and gross.

Bar Nine on the other hand has actually good coffee with good beans, plenty of free parking, and it's peaceful there.“

“We had a few beers there and loved it. Simple hidden gem in the Gundo on a not well traveled side street off grand ave. Not big, (6 big tables up front) but great beer for $8 or so. Also, a nice back area for more private gatherings.

“We stopped by the Second Wind in El Segundo right by LAX, after hearing about it from some friends (who actually work at LAX). I gotta say it's a solid spot. It looks relatively new and the interior is very cool with anime and pop art stuff. The bar is connected to both inside and outside areas which is nice. We tried: Bulgogi Alfredo Pasta, Sriracha Hot Honey Wings, Flaming Wagyu, Snow Crab Avocajete Dip. I loved the snow crab dip. Its like a avocado dip but add snow crab and some Asian flavorings. Really enjoyed it. The flaming wagyu was also very good, and liked how they torch it table side for you. The bulgogi pasta was good too, and really captures the Asian fusion aesthetic here. They actually have a coffee/boba place located right inside the restaurant which is convenient to get some sweets after. Overall, we enjoyed it and plan on coming back to try some other items.“

“I had a great experience here. I called once we landed to see if we would be able to check in early, and they said yes. My husband was so sick from the plane ride, so we were grateful for that. The room we were given wasn’t cleaned, but the front desk immediately found us one that was ready. I love the waiting area set up, and there was a cute large connect 4 game. I enjoyed a drink a bar, the bartender was very sweet. The floors are confusing, so be sure to ask the staff what floor your room is on. Parking was simple, it’s designated just for the hotel. You can pay hourly or do all day. There is a shuttle to the airport I think. We rented a vehicle though. You are walking distance from a pharmacy and a few restaurants. “I cannot say enough of the five star service Ernesto provided. We were waiting for the shuttle to take us to the airport. It was 10 mins late, then 15 mins late. I asked the gentleman at the front desk to inquire but he was not helpful at all. Just said he will be there. I expressed my concern that we had an international flight to catch. I was so frustrated by this front desk man's customer service I told my husband we should call an Uber. Meanwhile we already paid for the hotel shuttle. Ernesto overheard my frustration. Called the bus to find out it wouldn't be coming there was an issue. He refunded us for our shuttle we paid for and also paid for our Uber. It was Four Seasons customer service, over and beyond exceeded our expectations! You should be so lucky to have a person like Ernesto. The other gentleman needs to go back to learning customer service skills and hospitality! Go Ernesto!“

“I've been to several Marmalades and the food is usually predictable. We requested a booth and we able to get seated right away. Their patio is very nice and I think I will ask for that the next time I visit. The only negative issue we have is the fact cleanliness of their ladies restroom. The trash can was full needed emptying. The floor was dirty and one of the stalls didn't have liners for the toilet seat. I was surprised to see this especially for Marmalade's. I d report this the gal at the front.“

“A bit off the beaten path, but delicious acai bowls are available here. I had the chocolate dream (which comes with chocolate chips!) while my friend had the makai bowl. You pick between a regular or large size. We came here after eating sushi for lunch so we were a bit peckish, but eating the regular size brought us over the edge. There were some indoor tables available and a lot more outdoor seating. The outdoor seating was super pleasant and there was a fountain that added to a soothing environment. Free parking. Credit cards accepted. They have smoothies available as well.“
