“Came for the Father’s Day brunch with husband and kids. We sat outside on the patio overlooking the marina. Very calming ambience. I was pleased to see there was a kids’ menu even though the restaurant has more of an adult vibe. We ordered the sushi flight, Caesar salad, taco trio, and Caesar mushroom wrap. The kids got guacamole, cheeseburgers, lemonade, and a big cookie. All the food was excellent and generous portions. I was expecting very small portions so we ordered way too much food and will have leftovers for dinner. I wish I had taken pictures cause it was all so pretty! We will be definitely go back again. My complaint is the same complaint I have for most California breweries in 2026 - stop making a 200th ale that tastes the same and shift focus towards beverages that fit the California vibe and are more inclusive. And no, not another gimmick white claw substitute, but ciders, sours, and fruit beers.

The rotating tap sour we had was top tier but who knows if it will be there next time.

Food wise, we are pretty picky with wings and this place has got excellent wings, the kind that despite not being drenched in buffalo are really flavorful. Pretzel is pretty good too and comes from the local rockenwagner bakery. I wish there was a salt level option but that might be just how they get them.

The menu is definitely white-coded in terms of being more “meal for yourself” than “for the table” and very little green vegetables outside of the salads.“

“Was in my way to Starbucks when I saw this place right next door and went here instead. $12 and some change for a traditional açaí bow. It was delicious. Small store but the service was fast and the girls working were nice. The bowl was a big portion and they put so much fruit, granola and coconut on top! I was thrilled as most places are cheap with their toppings. The fruit and açaí was fresh and I ate the whole thing. They also have juices, “meal replacements” which are smoothies and other bowl selections! Very happy with my order.“

Its grab and go, tipping for someone to say hello and ring the items I brought to the counter is ridiculous IMO. There is no tip request for the market cashier why here?“

“I had read about Alfred Coffee in a foodie magazine and when I drove by this location in Marina del Rey, I decided to stop and check it out.

This small artisan coffee shop was bustling on a Sunday morning. The busy baristas were working hard through the long line and never ending list of both in-store and mobile orders, which gave the shop a lively and slightly chaotic vibe. It definitely feels like a grab-and-go spot more than a place to settle in, especially since seating and parking are very limited. You do get validated parking with a purchase.

The location is right next to a marina. There's a nice outdoor area which makes it perfect for grabbing your coffee and taking a walk around while looking at the boats and water. It's a great way to enjoy your drink without needing a seat, which is good because there are very few inside.

I was there in early January, which means the holiday menu was still being offered. The seasonal drinks were fun and creative. I decided to try the eggnog latte, which was espresso and cashew milk blended with eggnog style spices. It was weird to be sure, and much different than your typical coffee drink. I'm not usually a huge fan of super involved coffee concoctions, but I still enjoyed it and appreciated that Alfred does something a little playful with their menu. I would not order it again, however.

The pastries looked amazing but I had just had brunch so I passed, but knowing they're made with real French butter definitely ups the appeal. I also loved the maritime-themed décor, which fits the Marina del Rey setting perfectly. There were little sailor sculptures, diving knick knacks, and a wall decorated entirely with yacht rock albums (nice)! This made the whole place feel very on-brand for the neighborhood.

I found Alfred Coffee Marina del Rey to be a fun stop for a quick, quality coffee and a stroll by the water. I'd definitely return and try one of those flaky croissants next time!“

“There is no question the food is delicious, but on Wednesday, July 8, 2026, at about 4:30 pm, I visited the restaurant with my co-worker.

We ordered two seafood soups and asked the waitress for separate bills. Instead, we had a nightmare of a time because we both got charged for 6 SOUPS!

After I checked my bank and realized that I was over charged by $46, I asked to speak with the manager.

The manager refused to acknowledge that they had made a mistake and would not refund me the overpayment.

After several minutes of arguing, they finally gave us a partial refund.
