“The food was absolutely delicious. The service on the other hand needs improvement One in our party of 4 had their drink served 20 min after the rest. It was a martini but came with no olives when olives were asked for. It seemed the waiter had too many tables and the lack of good service really distracted from the overall dining experience”

I'm not a connoisseur of wines or spirits, but this speakeasy was extremely enjoyable. It is a great way to start or end a meal at Scopa and we enjoyed the experience immensely. The bartender was knowledgable, friendly, and conversational. We were there for almost two hours and it felt like 15 minutes. The ambiance was quiet yet exciting, and listening to the maitre de and bartender tell us about the history of the location, some of the spirits, and just general conversation made this unforgetable.”

“The food was good overall! We tried the fried mushroom shared plate, which was a little average. It was essentially fried mushrooms with a sweet and tangy sauce. We also had the Firecracker Maki Roll, which was good, although it leaned a little on the sweeter side.

My absolute favorite was the udon noodles! They were creamy, flavorful, and just perfect. I would definitely recommend trying them.

The atmosphere was lovely, with the option of both indoor and outdoor seating. Overall, it was a nice dining experience, especially for the udon noodles!”

“I can’t believe this has lower than a 4.8. Pizzana is the real deal. We just came back from Italy and it’s not too far off from our favorite spot in Italy, truly. The Neo Margherita is our go to, it’s so delicious and not like any other pizza in LA. Their salads are also super fresh and the focaccia is so yummy. Pizzana stays in our rotation and never disappoints.”

There have been two paintings with me in them, a painted recording of this era of my life! It is unclear what will be happening with the restaurant going forward, as there may be some ownership change. Everyone is sort of holding their breath, and for now, music has not been included in January of 2020. There is talk it could go either way in Feb. 🤷🏻‍♂️ Thank you all who have come and supported me these past few years on Washington Square and I will keep everyone posted as to what settles out in the next bit of time. “As crazy as our Birthday party was, in the bar, our server, Jose, was awesome. There were 2 or 3 other large gatherings at the Marriott hotel, where Singer is, adjacent to the lobby. However, we felt completely cared for. I ordered the classic burger...I am a burger aficionado... It was awesome! I could say that I am ashamed of all the parmesan fries I ate, but nope, not sorry. They were awesome, as well. I don't know if it's a good or bad reality that this place is only a couple miles from my home because...Oh who am I kidding? I would return to this place of great service, atmosphere, fun and food, no matter the distance. Great job Marriott hotel and Sinder restaurant. We will return...often!”

“I stopped by Cast & Plow for breakfast while staying at The Ritz-Carlton, Marina del Rey.

The location is easily one of the highlights. The lady who greeted me was polite and welcoming and offered me a table outside overlooking the marina. Sitting by the water in the morning was incredibly peaceful and made for a great start to the day.

I ordered the Marina Breakfast for $37, which included juice, coffee, toast, two eggs made to order, a choice of pork or chicken sausage, and a small side of greens. My eggs were cooked exactly as requested, and everything else was well prepared and as expected. It’s certainly not an inexpensive breakfast, but you’re also paying for the setting and the overall hotel experience.

The only slight frustration was the beginning of the service. After being seated, it took about 10 minutes before my server came over to greet me. Once that happened, though, the service was attentive for the rest of the meal. He checked on me several times, refilled my coffee, and brought the check promptly when I was ready.

The table and patio area were clean, and it’s hard to beat having breakfast with a marina view on a quiet LA morning.

Overall, a very enjoyable breakfast with good food, attentive service after the initial wait, and an excellent waterfront setting. I would happily come back.”

“The man inside was nothing but kind to me. Im not from LA and my phone died trying to find my way back to my hotel. I went into Jersey Mikes and he refused to lend me a charger for a couple minutes. I decided to try here and he let me use it, offered me candy, and was so nice. I didnt try the food but with with their hospitality alone I will come eat here on my next visit. Thank you again!”

“Pinkberry drop in and it has been a bit since I have had Pinkberry. This was a rekindling moment. Pinkberry yogurt is made with real nonfat milk and yogurt with fresh fruit toppings that are hand-cut daily. Let's jump right into this review.

This location is in Marina Del Rey inside a bustling shopping center. A few shops and plenty of food options.

Things to know -

** Single swirl or side-by-swirls offered. **

1. Variety of flavor options, which but the OG Sweet/Tart & Pomegranate is always available. Different Seasons bring different flavors. Currently- Summer Melon Crush is available! During my visit we tried Blueberry Lavender and it was really good!!!

2. Variety of toppings offered.

3. Light and low calories if you don't add all the sweet toppings.

4. Reasonable prices.

5. They offer ice bags for yogurt you are taking to-go. I really like this because your yogurt stays cold on the way home.

6. Excellent customer service.

7. Dining in, go right ahead. A few tables and chairs inside. Cute decor. You want some vitamin D, dine outside, location has plenty of outdoor seating in the shopping center.

During peak hours this shopping center is full of folks and cars. Parking can be a challenge. Just something to note.
