“Happy New Year Y’all!!🥂✨🤘🏼🥳 As many of you know I’ve been playing piano and singing at Casa Ado in Venice for the last 3.5 years, for a total of 700+ shows. There have been two paintings with me in them, a painted recording of this era of my life! It is unclear what will be happening with the restaurant going forward, as there may be some ownership change. Everyone is sort of holding their breath, and for now, music has not been included in January of 2020. There is talk it could go either way in Feb. 🤷🏻‍♂️ Thank you all who have come and supported me these past few years on Washington Square and I will keep everyone posted as to what settles out in the next bit of time. “Wow, the pizza and salad were sooo good!! It took me back to my trip to Italy. The staff was super friendly and attentive too. We accidentally walked in a few minutes before they opened and were super chill about it. They greeted us, sat us at a table, and asked what we would like to drink (A++ customer service).“

“This is a decent Italian restaurant. If you live far, it’s not worth the trip.

Parking is street and neighborhood parking in those cramped LA residential neighborhoods.

Restaurant seems small. It’s dimly lit and has a romantic atmosphere.

We had squash blossoms. The fry on it was good. It was very light and crispy. It doesn’t really have much flavor to it though in my opinion. I’d much rather have very good tempura. Still, this was interesting to try if you’ve never had it.

I had the pappardelle because there was no other cheesy pasta available. I don’t like the flavor of pecorino cheeses and thats what most dishes had. It wasn’t memorable but the pasta itself was good.

The orecchiette was good, but the flavor reminded me of Chinese spicy flavors. For that reason alone, I’d rather just eat Chinese food for a fraction of the price.

“My wife and I went to the Grove in Los Angeles last night and we had dinner at "Sogno Toscana," an it was outstanding. It was perfect in every way; great food, great drinks, outstanding and friendly staff, beautiful location, etc. I love Italian food but I can't think of one Italian restaurant that I like, until "Sogno Toscano." The food was outstanding, and there was so much more we saw go by that we can't wait to go back and try. And the drinks were outstanding. I love martini's and they served the best martini I've ever had. Giacomo was our server and took great care of us. He's from Italy and "Sogno Toscana" brought him to America when they opened their New York restaurant, and now he's in LA for this new restaurant. Although very busy, the entire staff were very fun to be around, and most of them are Italian which is also great.“

Oh my gosh, it was divine! The uni was so fresh and creamy and the pasta itself was cooked just right. Every bite was an explosion of flavor. We also tried the baked lasagna and it was delightful. The layers were perfectly balanced and each bite was full of rich, savory flavors. Let's not forget dessert! We shared a few different things and they were all great. The tiramisu was fluffy and decadent and the chocolate mousse was rich and smooth. Overall, Angelini Osteria is definitely a must-try for Italian food lovers in Los Angeles. “The pasta was delicious, but we had to wait 15 minutes to be acknowledged, and when they did take our order, it was for everything and they “ran out of bread we run out all the time” at 7pm on a saturday. Restaurant 101: greet guests quickly, offer them some wine / drinks, even if you’re delayed on taking their order. Also offer more salad options or appetizers and we would’ve easily ordered dessert if it was offered.“

Chef Chris and Sara are both incredible chefs and lovely people. The entire staff is welcoming, efficient and professional. Make sure to get the Baltimore signature if he is on pasta duty!

We’ve had almost everything on the menu, and it leaves us speechless every visit. Our favorites are the chopped salad, tuna crudo, meatballs, vodka sausage pizza, half chicken, and sausage pasta. But you really can’t go wrong!

Love and salt is a must try. Go check it out.“

“When I first walked in, I questioned if I should stay or leave. However, it smelled very good so we decided to stay. My friend and I ordered two dishes to share. I ordered a pizza based off the chef recommendation and it was thin crust without outstanding taste. We also ordered the pennetye Alle vodka with sausage. The sauce was so amazingly good. The garlic bread was also fantastic. Very unique from most places garlic bread. Service was a little slow, but was worth the wait. Great job definitely will be back again soon.“

We got fresh burrata with dried peppers. It was drizzled with an outstanding olive oil. Our server, Alyssa, was one of the best servers we've ever had and we've travelled and dined globally. Our entrees were spaced perfectly. We started with the raviola. It was presented beautifully. It was exceptional. We also had the cacio e Pepe. Again, delicious and so rich. The final pasta was a ragu. The fresh pasta was cooked perfectly al dente. The sauce was rich and meaty. Dessert was a scoop of salted caramel gelato and an espresso, which we turned into the best affogato ever. Cannot recommend this place enough.“
