“Happy New Year Y’all!!🥂✨🤘🏼🥳 As many of you know I’ve been playing piano and singing at Casa Ado in Venice for the last 3.5 years, for a total of 700+ shows. There have been two paintings with me in them, a painted recording of this era of my life! It is unclear what will be happening with the restaurant going forward, as there may be some ownership change. Everyone is sort of holding their breath, and for now, music has not been included in January of 2020. There is talk it could go either way in Feb. 🤷🏻‍♂️ Thank you all who have come and supported me these past few years on Washington Square and I will keep everyone posted as to what settles out in the next bit of time. “Walking into Old Lightning feels like stepping into Pablo Moix’s private whiskey collection—rare, curated, and full of bottles you’ve only seen in photos. Hidden behind Scopa, the bar features an incredible lineup of high-end spirits: single cask Springbanks, rare Willetts, unique Balvenies, and other bottles you’ll probably never see again. Prices are high (sometimes maybe a bit too high), but you're paying for access to some truly special stuff.

“As crazy as our Birthday party was, in the bar, our server, Jose, was awesome. There were 2 or 3 other large gatherings at the Marriott hotel, where Singer is, adjacent to the lobby. However, we felt completely cared for. I ordered the classic burger...I am a burger aficionado... It was awesome! I could say that I am ashamed of all the parmesan fries I ate, but nope, not sorry. They were awesome, as well. I don't know if it's a good or bad reality that this place is only a couple miles from my home because...Oh who am I kidding? I would return to this place of great service, atmosphere, fun and food, no matter the distance. Great job Marriott hotel and Sinder restaurant. We will return...often!“

It is my go to place now. I tell everyone to try it.

Came back after a few years, the man with the beard was very dry/unfriendly and they have eliminated the vegetables from the meal I always enjoyed.
Now you have to pay extra!

The homeless in that immediate area is out of control since I was here and makes for an unpleasant experience.

One of the things that stand out this time (apart from the food of course) we went was a very cool playlist that was playing on the restaurant. My gf was kind of dancing to the music.

I ordered the pho with rare meat, I took a picture of it so that you can check it out for yourself. You pretty much throw the meat inside the hot pho and it will cook right there. Very good plate if you ask me.

My gf ordered the Pad Thai, which she is really a fan of it. She is always looking for Pad Thais all around LA, but she said this one in particular was very tasty. She recommends it to ALL.

Very clean place, parking could be a little tricky because is on Washington Blvd so it could get a little difficult to find a place to park, but not impossible.

I recommend this place to everyone!
