I Nichols is a throwback, an example of a classic neighborhood all~purpose restaurant. We ate several meals there over a short period while staying at a nearby hotel. Every meal was excellent. The menu is wide and varied. Every meal was very good, as was the service. We had both breakfast and dinner. Highly recommended.
Stopped here for the very first time with my son who's visiting from Utah. Good fresh food, great, prompt service and clean ambiance - we ordered fried calamari, a burger and a fried chicken sandwich. The only hiccup came when it was time to pay, and we realized the server Starr had brought us the wrong check-a mistake which was quickly corrected. Would definitely return!!

J Nichols is an absolutely amazing restaurant in Marina Del Rey. Must try them when in MDR. Busy on weekends and no resy for breakfast/brunch, but definitely recommend adding yourself to the waiting list online/through Yelp. Dinner time reservations are available.
