“We order delivery from this place regularly. The food is very good and delivery is reasonable. We ordered delivery through their website app using iPhone (iOS). Unfortunately, the app is terrible and you can’t login and have to check out as a guest every time. I hope they look into correcting this soon as it would be great to build points with them because we are regular customers. It’s just a minor inconvenience and we will continue to order delivery from this wonderful place in the future.“
“Very good! Looks like they changed the consistency of the patty to resemble actual chicken. Honestly I can't taste a difference. This sandwich is even better than it used to be! Amazing food and great service. Nice clean restaurant, I'll be back!“
“Traveling from east coast to west coast on a vacation trip, Mayura was the best Kerala food we had tried in a while. We had Appam, Porotta, Thali, fish curry, chicken curry, Kurma and idiyappam and everything tasted really authentic and homely. Excellent service as well.“
“This 100% vegan place is delicious, has friendly service and a nice casual atmosphere, and-bonus-easy parking. The menu is great but I also love its accessibility. We had the Backyard BBQ Tofu bowl and the Fiesta Carnitas bowl. Can't wait to go back and try more.“
“I got the mushroom carne asada bowl and the hibiscus drink. I’m not vegan but this is one of my favorite restaurants in LA. The owner is lovely. The food is delicious and portions are big! These bowls aren’t just rice and some toppings, it’s a great balance of every ingredient. The drinks are perfectly sweet and refreshing. The seating outside is comfy and relaxed. I recommend this to anyone local or visiting!!! Check them out!“
“I had a good experience here. One side of the building is a health store where you can get all your black owned products such as black seed, toothpaste, walkers wood jerk seasoning, And other stuff you can’t find anywhere in other stores. Not size the restaurant where they have a plethora selection of smoothies, convenient drinks, and food on order. My favorite was the four options on Jamaican patties. For what they have there, their options are: shrimp and crab, spinach, chicken and jerk chicken (((spicy.)).“
“Great food and beautiful interior! The best plant based place I have ever tried. The flavors are amazing and they have something for everyone. Def a must try. Service was good and attentive. The food is very creative and plated beautifully. And again the interior design is worth a visit all on its own.“
“We walked here for breakfast from our hotel, and we were so glad we did (even in the pouring rain)! Food was good and reasonably priced (especially compared to our hotel) and the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. If we had been in the area longer, we would have gone back. I would much rather support this business than give more money to our hotel.“
“Socalo is consistently great. Everyone I introduce it to ends up returning on their own. Everything is great here, the food especially of course (the menu is innovative with kind of a classic base and the ingredients are very high end). Somehow though, they manage to keep the prices reasonable. The staff is really nice, the design and atmosphere are beautiful both during the day and the evening. I love that it's an all day restaurant so you can even grab a meal or a snack during in-between hours. This place is kind of a sleeper favorite and because it seems to be under the radar a bit, getting a reservation is always easy. I truly love this place.“
“Every time we eat there, we are impressed by the overall quality of the food and service. Chef Arango delivers high quality food in every dish. Each item is extremely fresh and well prepared. You can also tell that the family really appreciates every single customer. I can't say enough positive things about them. I am honestly thankful to have a such a solid Indian food option right in the neighborhood.“
“Absolutely amazing, off the charts food and atmosphere! A wonderful date spot with healthy and super eclectic foods. Everything is farm fresh, interesting and super delicious flavor combos that make for an exceptional culinary experience. And flourless chocolate cake is to die for ! “
“what a great find!! maxine's is an adorable cafe with a cozy interior and great food. this place has probably the best biscuits and gravy i've had in all of LA - the gravy has a lot of sausage and is actually seasoned well. the biscuit is light and fluffy and buttery. its also only $12!! i also got am omelet which was a little underdone for my tastes, but the chili bean sauce it came with was fantastic. their fresh oj is great and service was awesome too. everyone was very down to earth and kind. there isn't too much seating because it's quite small but there are 2 tables for larger parties, the seating is all handmade wooden benches and tables. im so happy to have found this place so close to home :)“
“Have been twice and everything I've tried has been amazing--as in the conversation at our table all stopped and we spent several minutes raging and exchanging amazed looks. Very fresh and delicious; very prompt and friendly service. Highly recommended -- I will be back many times for sure!!Vegetarian options: Everything.“
“So, my friend chose this restaurant because she's vegan. I am not. It was an hour from my home and I arrived starving. I was greeted nicely by the host and he was very patient with me while I flip flopped about whether to sit inside or out. Decided to eat in. Waited ten minutes, still no friend. I look at her message again. The lunch was the following week! Arghh! My lovely server, Graciela, walked me through the foreign menu and we landed on nachos. They were delicious. It's street parking, which I hate, but overall it's a nice place. But I wouldn't drive an hour for it.“
“Such an amazing gem. Wanted to eat after a night out but finding vegan and healthy food was tough. This was worth the drive! The food was incredible, so flavorful, all organic and vegan. So much selection. We are the grain pancakes with the tofu scramble, sausage and has brown and the waffle deluxe. Generous portions and well seasoned as well as they served it with date syrup. The hot chocolate with oat milk was the best I've had. The cinnamon was so fresh and not too sweet. The vibe is such a trip because it's like entering a portal with snoop dog on a wall and then Mayan woodwork art.Great service too!100% recommend and open til 12a on a friday“
“Instagram brought me here for the breakfast burrito and it did not disappoint. I ordered the sausage breakfast burrito on a GF tortilla because I have to be GF. I am very grateful for that option or else I would not be able to try this burrito. The burrito is LOADED with tater tots, just egg, sausage and a chiptole creama. Although the area you pick up seems sketchy its not. I appreciate what they are doing here and the concept is great. Will def come back but I would suggest a bit more egg in the burrito because the burrito is 80% tots.“
“Thanks to our fabulous server, Joshua- everything was perfect! Two members of our party had finished the LA Marathon and Josh went out of his way to make sure they got everything exactly as they wished. He treated them like Kings - which they deserved. The food, as usual, was fresh and delicious and fantastic. Major props to the whole kitchen crew for doing such a great job on such a busy day. Also- the grass fed beef in the true blue burger is amazingly tender and fresh. Only to be topped by the grass fed ice cream on top of freshly baked chocolate chunk cookies.“
“Excellent vegetarian menu where everything can be eaten. Lots of fresh veggies with a mix of cooked imitation meats also. Good to come here if your group is vegetarian! The coffee is also very good! Parking can be a bit tricky but there are dedicated spotsVegetarian options: All vegetarian, no meats anywhereParking: Few dedicated restaurant spots“
“It's plated very beautifully and the food is all amazing, especially for being vegan. It's a tiny little restaurant, only three little tables, but it's all very good and very very well priced, especially for CaliforniaVegetarian options: It's a vegan place. They have a number of dishes labeled 'chicken' and whatnot but when my sister opened it up it was clearly not on the inside, but still goodWheelchair accessibility: There's ~3 accessible parking spots and a small ramp“
“This place is incredible. I dined here with my vegetarian son twice in five days, but I’m not a vegetarian. I didn’t miss the meat whatsoever. The food was seasoned so deliciously that it was simple to eat healthier. The texture and flavor of their “meat impostors” will trick your palate! My only criticism was the bathroom was not exactly the cleanest! Given the quality of the food, this seems like an easy fix!Vegetarian options: Nothing bland here!Parking: Several parking spotsKid-friendliness: Space for childrenWheelchair accessibility: Space for wheelchair or walker“
“We loved the food a lot. Jain food was very good. Staff was not that polite, however food made us very happy. If you stay in LA and visit Santa Monica beach and looking for India vegetarian restaurant around, this restaurant will come to rescue. Just mind the timing as its open till 9:30 pm.Dietary restrictions: They have separate Jain menu. We tried Jain Paneer makhani, Paneer paratha, Dal tadka and Jeera rice. Every dish was amazing. Must a visit.“
“Had a solid experience here. I ordered the filet mignon plate with spinach dip and wings for appetizers for my wife and myself. The service was top-notch. Our waiter was on top of everything and really cool. The atmosphere while busy was not that loud, which surprised me.Highly recommended“
“Excellent delicious, fresh, healthy vegetarian food served in a highly uplifting atmosphere. Nice people, and fantastic location next to the Krishna temple. We also went to the Bhagavad Gita museum next door and thought that was fabulous. Will definitely return the next time we are in LA!“
“Probably some of the best food on Slauson Ave hands down. Got blessed and had the opportunity to meet the owner himself, big shout out to the chef himself he knows what he's doing in the kitchen! Highly recommended, the perfect spot to grab something to eat and visit Nipsey's Memorial.“
“This place is a gem! I truly feel like I'm at home when I come here. The environment is very welcoming and warm. And of course the coffee and tea is great (my favorite is the raspberry/ hibiscus). I've been coming here for a few months to get some work done or just to get away, it's a really nice place.“
“I just tried the passion salad , the awake, and vibrant salad. I would definitely recommend this place. And that sneaky guy put some banana pudding in my bag, which I did not order, but OMG I'm glad he did. I will be ordering that banana pudding from here on out. It was amazing!“
“Nice restaurant for vegan, vegetarian, gluten free, and just overall healthier options for food! I came here with my mother in law who is gluten free and between that and the vegetarians dishes I can still confirm my tastebuds didn't miss a beat. I ordered the Pad Thai and my husband had the Gnocchi. Both were really good, but I think I liked the Pad Thai just a little bit more. I don't try the pizza my mother in law ordered but it looked good too. I was also pleasantly surprised by the mushroom calamari - the texture was just like regular calamari and the taste was very flavorful and yummy. I would order it again. For dessert was got the Matcha Chocolate Cake which was like chocolate oreo with match icing on top :) Inside the place is also very cute and trendy. Perfect date spot since most of the tables are in the smaller party side. They also have a small patio out front for the nice weather days. Parking can be tricky with street meters and it can be busy on Abbot Kinney at times.“
“I enjoyed the G3 and the C2 from Rejuice, the other day with my wife, and we were both very impressed by the freshness and delicious flavors of our pressed juices. We will most definitely be returning here and trying the rest of these amazing “
“I am absolutely thrilled to share my experience with Guru Meals, a phenomenal vegan meal delivery service that has truly transformed my dining experience. As a resident of Orange County, I've had my fair share of meal delivery services, including Hello Fresh and Cook Unity, but none have come close to the exceptional quality, taste, and service provided by this local small business. The first thing that stands out about Guru Meals is their incredible menu. It's hard to believe they do vegan - but they do, and they do it exceptionally well! The food is not just good, it's mind-blowingly delicious. The flavors are rich, the ingredients are fresh, and the variety is impressive. It's clear that the chef is not just skilled, but also passionate about creating meals that are both healthy and delectable. The team at Guru Meals is simply amazing. Josh and Melissa, I can't thank you enough for your hard work and dedication. Your hustle is evident in every meal that arrives at my doorstep. When I needed to switch out my order just two days before delivery, you accommodated my request without hesitation. Your commitment to customer satisfaction is truly commendable. But what really sets Guru Meals apart is their extraordinary service. I was in Palm Springs for Coachella, and they delivered my food right there! It's not every day that you find a company willing to go that extra mile (quite literally!) to ensure their customers are well-fed and happy. In conclusion, if you're in Orange County or Los Angeles and are looking for a vegan meal delivery service, look no further than Guru Meals. Their food is second to none, their team is fantastic, and their service is unparalleled. I love them to pieces and can't recommend them enough!“
“The food is really good! I love the steak sandwich and the grilled chicken wrap, I hope they do not discontinued the steak sandwich, I hope they get more grilled food. The food is fresh and healthy!! The have very nice and professional people working there.“
“Delicious food, lovely service and the perfect place for a ladies lunch meeting. Chef had healthy vegan and veggie choices for those of us who wanted them as well as freshly prepared northern italian favorites. Ask for the Bread Pudding, it will change your life.“
“I love MIXT! It's a little overwhelming when you're not sure what to get when you're trying new place but Basil & Vanessa helped me and I enjoyed every part of my meal! Both my mom & I got the Bachan's Bowl and we loved it! Definitely recommend! Good food + great customer service“
“I love Greenleaf! I'm so happy the Century City location is open again <3. The food is consistent, clean, fresh and super tasty across all locations. I love the upgrades they've made to the CC location to give it a more, "stay and hang out" vibe. I LOVE that they have paleo options, and they are all GOOD! When I'm not on paleo, my go-to's are the "Cheap N' Easy" breakfast sandwich (lots of protein!) and the Hollywood Bowl. I've done dine-in, pick-out and delivery. Enjoy!Dietary restrictions: Paleo“
“I always had a good experience at veggie grill.Ordering online or dining in. Service is always great and food is always delicious. As an avid vegan who tries different foods constantly, I’d define veggie grill as a sort of “healthy fast food” among the many options available in LA. Prices are decent and I love how all details about meal are included on the menu, including the amount of calorie for each dish.A must try for vegans and non vegans :)My favorites: lentil soup, Far East Thai bowl - replaced with tempeh, nachos, quesadilla.Thank you veggie grill!“
“First time and it sure won’t be the last! It was simply excellent, very fresh ingredients and the staff were all friendly and engaged! Highly recommend simply salad.Vegetarian options: Salad options, many key qualities to choose from!Kid-friendliness: Healthy Option for children! Go GREENWheelchair accessibility: Easy walk in, wide doors for easily accessibility“
“Great service and delicious food as always. I had the cheese manicotti tonight. It was out of this world delicious and I will be back again love this place and love the service and the bread. I will continue coming back and I definitely recommend this restaurant.“
“Quick and easy counter service spot located inside the All Seasons Brewing Co. there’s a self service kiosk where you can place your order and then the pick up window is on the right hand side. My two taco combo cost $10 and came with a small side of chips and salsa. I opted for the fish taco and the asada tacos. They have nonalcoholic drinks available for purchase as well. My food came out in less than 10 minutes at 8pm on a Saturday evening and there’s plenty of seating within the brewery. Credit cards accepted.“
“seaweed salad and gyoza were great to start! the ambiance feels moderately dedicated towards japanese culture which is always a plus. they may have been understaffed when I came, but service was a bit weak. The ramen entree left a bit more to be desired flavor-wise, but I do really appreciate the vibe in the establishment. I would come again!“
“We ordered 2 different kinds of parathas and 1 Rasmalai to share. I liked the potato paratha & the Radish (muli) paratha. They are large in size so bring your appetite! A great place for an informal meal and/or a snackVegetarian options: I was able to order vegetarian food easily.“
“Stopped at Mashawi Grill for a late lunch for the first time. Facilities so clean, looks new but was told they have been opened many years. My sister and I were not super hungry so ordered two small chicken soup and split a chicken wrap. We were so delighted the soup was hot and delicious and the chicken wrap was tender and really delicious served with their Mashawi garlic spread with a touch of lemon. We will recommend this eatery and return soon!“
“On a sunny afternoon, I just wish for something with avocado. Greenleaf Kitchen came up to satisfy my craving. I got the smoked salmon avocado toast to-go. For something so simple, it was the most delicious! The creamy avocado and freshness of the salmon really pair well with each other. Greenleaf did a superb job making this and packing it up in a to-go box. I hope to be back during my work hours to get this toast!“
“Ordered tonight. Generous portions. Perfect spice level. The Korma was heavenly. The rice pudding is delicious too. I like that they take pop pay. They have a ton off different drinks and it's an ethnic market light. They have all priced condiments and fresh vegetables andgrab and go items. Neighborhood gem!Dietary restrictions: Vegan options“
“Great selection for vegetarian Indian cuisine. Somewhat $$ however food was good especially their Puri. You pay at the counter and they have fancy robots who serve at the table. Clean restrooms.Parking: As it is a busy area, somewhat difficult to find free or street parking“
“Heathy food that taste good. Most people are unaware but the utensils are located on the side of the machine. And it is touch less if you use the app. The app also provides you with everything on stock and saves your order incase stock runs low.“
“Wow this place is so good! It's a fast food healthy spot and they have tons of healthy options. The place inside reminds me of chipotle, but healthier.Food: great!I got the hot honey chicken protein and asked for additional romaine ($0.50). This was a great protein style plate with sweet potatoes. I wished they gave more sauce bc it was so delicious! Service: goodThey were helpful and nice!“
“I’ve been here several times and every time I go the service is great. The manager is always very helpful and all of the workers are very communicative. It’s nice that they validate parking for the nearby parking garage, considering the lack of street parking. There is indoor and outdoor seating available. The workers always get through the line very fast and efficiently. As far as accessibility is concerned, there is no ramp needed for entry and the countertops are at a reasonable level for wheelchair users.Parking: Sweet Green validated parking.“
“I'll Be BackThank you for kindly responding to my rant. You're correct. We all have off days, and I'm going to trust you will return to the place I love.Be Well & Kind2.6.24 Rant:Usually, I love this place, but NOT today. I may as well have swung by Ralphs for a bag of lettuce. There is literally no more than a teaspoon of the toppings I requested. Seriously, did corporate come and slap someone's hand, cuz this bowl is 95% lettuce? I don't see the red peppers I asked for; there's a sliver of ginger and onion, 3 cranberries, and a smidgen of broccoli. The two stars are only because this bowl of mostly grass is fresh.I plan to give you another try in the future, but I'm going to go back to eating at Sweetgreen if this is how you plan to operate moving forward.- Feeling SimplySad and Disappointed“
“This place is great! Spicy and lots of flavor. Combo plate is so well priced with generous portions. So much better than prices to eat out in LA these days! And they've got unique grocery items, Heinz baked beans, for example. Go check them out“
“My husband and i are changing our eating habits and when we knew about this place was like a great idea for us, whenever we want something quick and healthy we just think about simply salads. I love their downtown Cobb with grilled chicken salad.“
“I always enjoy True Food Kitchen for it's diverse and unique offerings. The food is always fresh and the wait staff and very friendly and professional. This is healthy, clean food. I especially appreciate the array of vegan options, not just a mock meat burger and a side salad, but legit tasty vegan options throughout the menu, including dessert! It's one of the few places I can confidently go with none vegans and know we'll both enjoy something on the menu.“
