“I loved the service and the food. The atmosphere is nice too. We were seated near the band as requested by my friends and it was a little hard to hear them speaking. The band was excellent and over all we had a beautiful time. I suggest that if you decide to go there check the online menu first. I had the salmon and it was heavenly along with the chocolate cake and nice and cheesy Au graten potatoes. You absolutely will not be disappointed when you go trust me.“

Classic hole in the wall with outstanding specials including fish tacos that absolutely rock at a fair price (especially on Wednesday when they offer a $3.00 per fish taco special that can'tbe beat) Worth the drive...and close to LAX. Great staff always going above and beyond to make customers happy. 2 thumbs all the way up.“

“The positives: The staff was very nice. The food was cooked up quickly and incredibly delicious. The pricing is fair for being in Cali and the amount you get. The negative: I truly hate when any business has news going on the tv. I don’t care what side you’re on but I don’t want to walk in and see Fox, CNN, MSNBC, etc on. If I would have seen that Fox was on before I ordered I would have turned around and brought my business elsewhere. Businesses are there to provide business, not to be politically devisive.“

Willie’s patience & assistance as we were indecisive helped us to not feel stressed. Marcus took extra care bringing our food to the table and the making sure we had all we needed. They both exuded professionalism and made us feel like valued customers. Excellent customer service. I own a biz and based on our encounters with them today I’d hire them in a heartbeat. “What a fantastic dining experience! We were so well taken care of, and the food was amazeballs! Definitely top of my list as my new favorite seafood restaurant. Elijah, the bartender was awesome and Katie went out of the way to make sure we had a lovely time. What an evening… I highly recommend this place.“

“The signature dish is the crab in sauce, which comes in medium and large sizes. medium is two crabs with two bowls of rice, and large is three crabs. Compared with other Korean restaurants, the sauce crab taste is mild, and it will not be salty enough to explode in the middle of the meal and cannot continue to eat. The crab is fresh, not fishy, and the meat is firm, not squishy. The crab meat is also very full, the crab legs are full, there is no empty shell crab. The sea urchin rice is a little smaller but the sea urchin is enough. regular sea urchins are not particularly sweet, but they are fresh and worth the price. The sea urchin Rice bowl combo will be served with steamed eggs, runny eggs and two prawns in sauce. Raw marinated salmon rice is amazing to me. The salmon is marinated just enough to be flavorful, but not overly salty. The portions are generous. You can eat two bites of each piece of salmon.“

“The food was absolutely delicious. The service on the other hand needs improvement One in our party of 4 had their drink served 20 min after the rest. It was a martini but came with no olives when olives were asked for. It seemed the waiter had too many tables and the lack of good service really distracted from the overall dining experience“

“Fantastic sushi for a great price, hence the queue! Luckily the line moves quickly. I would first go to the shelves to grab some rolls, then take a number for the fresh sashimi before jumping in line to pay.

Limited seating outside so also consider having a friend grab a table while you collect all your sushi bits 🐟“

“This is a high-quality seafood market and restaurant in Santa Monica. They also carry a small selection of vegetables, seasonings, and flowers. The variety of fish, clams, other seafood, and deli items is impressive, and everything is always fresh. The deli items, such as calamari salad, Hawaiian ahi poke, and pickled herring, are especially recommended.

The atmosphere is lively, and the staff are very attentive.

“Amazing view!! Delicious Polynesian Sea Bass. Visited LA for 4 nights and my best meal!!! Walkable area with beach and bike path. Will come back and stay in this area! Restaurant prices are not too high in comparison to other restaurants that aren’t as good.“

“Dude absolutely freaking delicious. This is my 3rd time coming to this place. And every time I come, I am craving the cocktail with shrimp and octopus. It taste so fresh and so home made.

The place is always crowed with people ordering. It's a small establishment, but very well organized, super clean and with air conditioning on which keeps it cool inside. Next time, I am going to try the shrimp tacos, as many order them.“

“Every single thing we ordered was full of popping flavors with savory mouth watering aromas. Normally I'm not a person who eats much, but this visit brought outy fat side ( in a good way ). “I came across Playa Provisions when in town for business. It was a short Uber from the airport, so I figured I'd give it a try. This place is an absolute gem! It is a unique setup that has everything you'd possibly need from morning until late at night: Cafe in the front for coffee and fresh baked good, as well as full breakfast menu. Later in the heat of the afternoon, take a break from the beach (right across the street) and enjoy hand scooped specialty ice cream cones and shakes. Oh look, it's dinner time... and Playa Provisions opens their dining room and bar, some of the best, most relaxed ambience you'll find for miles around. But don't let the casual setting fool you, this is some incredible, elevated cuisine. Chef owners Nick and Brooke (who you might recognize) crafted a menu that's I've been eating my way through, and have yet to find a dish that's not delicious. You've been eating and drinking all day, and are exhausted? Don't leave yet! I was kinda surprised with my bills and how the restaurant dictate the gratuity %….Overall, I love dining in this restaurant because we were welcome and were given a great and warm reception. “I saw this bar on my home from work one day. The name got my attention. I stopped in looking for a nice spot close to work that I could tell my coworkers about and I found it. Nick was the first person that I spoke to. He was very helpful. I later met Sydney and she was as accommodating as Nick. Very nice staff.

“the service was spectacular. really fun group of servers... food = excellent - exception: chicken appetizer a little greasy/ excessively fried but everything else: salmon, hamachi, avocado fries, duck tacos, etc. was great. a little too loud at first due to boisterous group in the bar right next to our table. acoustics are not great for conversation when the bar is hopping. this is my second time and I will come back.“

The fish was cooked wonderfully the calamari tasted great. The crabcake was over the top! And the value was incredible. this place is definitely got a good restaurant strategy going. come try it.
