Lobster Bisque in a bread bowl!
Great place for fresh seafood with a modern relaxed vibe. The oysters were great, a little pricey for the setup but delicious none the less. Great for small groups and a small local restaurant vibe.
Came in for a beer and some Oysters. Great Happy Hour and Great people. I’ll be back.

Tangaroa Fish Market offers a casual dining experience with a focus on fresh and flavorful seafood. The menu features a variety of dishes, including fish and chips, fried whole snapper with potatoes and edamame, and kiwi clam chowder. On Thursday nights, the restaurant has a special $46 lobster platter, which has been well-received for its excellent quality. The restaurant also has outdoor seating with pet-friendly tables and a seafood case/display. While some customers have noted that service can lose momentum after the order is taken, the staff is friendly, and many have praised the service as amazing. The oysters are fresh and beautifully presented, and the Peruvian ceviche, although heavier on guacamole, is popular among diners. The standout dish for many is the Fisherman's Basket, which is lightly fried and dairy-free. Several customers have enjoyed the blackened salmon, noting the delicious carrot purée and wasabi mashed potatoes. The menu is reasonably priced, with options for non-vegetarians, but unfortunately, there are no vegan options. Despite some slow service, the overall vibe is enjoyable, making it a great local spot for seafood lovers.
