A hidden gem! Was getting a tattoo across the street at Heartless Tattoos, and came in for some food and desserts. They close at 9 and their menu varies from Mexican pastries and desserts to Chicken Pesto sandwiches, to burritos and other great home-made foods. Would definitely recommend if in the area!
Best cupcakes hands down. My favorite is the candied apple cupcake but they're all great. I used to live a half a block away from here and I gained a lot of weight coming and buying cupcakes here.

I liked that this place was very quiet and chill for breakfast on a weekend morning! Not common for LA. The huevos con chorizo dish that I had was bomb. It came with rice beans and tortillas. I liked this little spot so much I got a Pan Dulce (chocolate concha) and Mexican hot chocolate to sit and enjoy a little longer. Seems like a great spot to get a coffee and study as well. I used their wifi to surf the net while I drank my chocolate. Will now be a regular!
