“The fried fish tacos here are soo good! Always perfectly cooked, crispy on the outside and soft/tender inside. The batter is perfect every time. Do yourself a favor and get the 2 taco plate combo, it’s a great deal plus the garlic rice is SO addicting. I love that they serve it with black beans. They give you chips while you wait and serve with really tasty salsas(the green and orange ones are my fave). The folks who work here are all so kind and the restaurant is always super clean. 👍 One of our favorite lunch spots!“

“It is a very nice place, I always take my family, they were delighted with the food and the attention of the staff, very friendly and cervical. If I recommend it, the Tacos Locos restaurant is my favorite.

“We had the combo 3: 1-fish taco, 1-shrimp taco(battered), the fish and chips and the ensenada (surf & turf) burrito. This damn food is ridiculously delicious!!!!! The steak was tender and everything was nicely flavored. They are NOT overly priced either. I gave the atmosphere 4 stars because: 1. Even when you are busy (and this place is busy), you have to have clean tables AND seats. The lady wiped the table and we had to have her come back for the seat. 2. The line goes through the restaurant, so if you're eating at one of the first couple of booths, someone's butt could be in your face/food. I did notice that, most people order to-go. Again, the food is absolutely delicious and they are fast with orders.“

“Overall a solid sushi place. Their hand rolls are uniquely flavored. I do think some are a bit heavy on the salt so getting the sauce on the side made a big difference. The slices of sushi you get is a good amount which is probably what I liked the most about this place. The chili on the salmon hand roll was crispy and I wasn't expecting that so I really liked it!“

“I just ate here for my birthday on Saturday. I have been to Belize and this food took me right back there. The owner Leslie, is from Belize and is very friendly and attentive, as his the staff. Phenomenal food, and large portions. Get the sampler platter for your appetizer, you won't be disappointed. I highly recommend this restaurant. If you are ever in Gardena, you should stop here. Gardena Cinema is a few blocks away, and is also fantastic. The restaurant closes at 7pm, and most shows start at 7:30, so it makes for the perfect evening.“

“FURAIBO GARDENA: I discovered just before to move to Cabo. I went everyday ( memorial WE) after this first visit. Food is divine, chicken wings are not to compare with the usual chicken wings, it is a delicacy. The first day we had an unbelievable friendly and attentive waitress, she knew all our nephews and nieces for 25 years. An exceptional person with rare qualities. I recommend this restaurant and as soon I have to be in LA I will. of course go every day I am in LA. Bravo for the chef, the people, the ambiance. I miss it every day.“

“Amazing asada fries! The burritos had a bit too much rice but complimented the flavor of the tomatoes onions and carne! I still have to try their sopes but will definitely return and recommend this place for asada fries! The horchata is BOMB.com too!“

“Visited twice, one for dine-in and the other for takeout. Both times were great and fast service. This place gives me tons of nostalgia when I lived in CA a couple of decades ago. I got chicken mini katsu, mini chicken katsu curry, and spam musubi. Finished the musubis but not the katsu- even the mini is a huge portion. For the price, you really cant beat it!“

“Been eating here since 2011. I used to live down the street so that's how I found this particular one. It's my top 3 out of all louisiana locations. Their pizza used to be much better than it is now but the chicken and fish is still supreme “

“I’ve always wanted to try LJS since I was a youngin. I used to see all those enticing commercials back in the 90s and early 2000s. After shopping at Best Buy in Hawthorne, I decided to shoot my shot and head over.

Mind you this was my first time ordering from here so I headed inside and was greeted by the cashier. I asked for a minute to survey the menu above and I finally decided to go with the L4 combo which came with 2 pieces of shrimp, 1 battered chicken, a battered fish, hush puppies, a side of your choice which I elected for sweet corn since I needed a lighter side option and a fountain drink.

The food was overall tasty and the batter was just right for coating. Everything was fresh and hot. This location is quite different from many other KFC locations not that it is a combo store with LJS but they have their own colonel’s specialty lemonade and country fried steak which I haven’t seen before.

The whole staff is very hospitable and they seem to know the regulars that come in to order. There used to be more locations of LJS’s but this is truly the last one in LA County. Please never close shop. This needs to stay a staple of the community and open for future generations to try.“

“We were pleasantly surprised at how delicious and fresh our dim sum was. We've had long-time favorite restaurants as go to places for dim sum nearby, but no longer. We will definitely be returning to Sea Empress Seafood Restaurant.
We have returned several times now and have been pleasantly surprised by the subtle menu changes.“
