“Tried Sweet Rice at the Tokyo Central complex in Gardena and was pleasantly surprised as a vegetarian. While the menu doesn’t clearly list vegetarian options, I called ahead and they confirmed they can make yellow, red, and green curries vegetarian with no fish sauce. I ordered the yellow curry with potato and onion, and it was flavorful, comforting, and not too heavy. Chili oil on top added a nice kick. Others at the table enjoyed the curry noodle soup and wonton soup. Despite being Michelin Guide–listed, this is a very casual spot—order at the counter, relaxed seating, no formal dining—which makes it easy and approachable. Parking right out front is a plus. Food is good value for money! Bowl Thai grill is next door (same owners) so you can sit there if the restaurant is full.“

“Got the lemon June drink and the truffle fried rice to go and both were really delicious. The rice Had pork and sausage in it and came with great side of in house soy sauce on the side as well as utensils and the lemon June drink had peach purée and it was super refreshing, a bit in the pricey side for everything but it was all super good so I’d definitely come back and try more, inside was fairly small but the decor was super nice and service was good and on point so I’d definitely recommend this spot“

“An adorable, cozy sushi restaurant with INCREDIBLE fresh fish. We got the special and regular omakase, and the special is absolutely worth the extra $20 because it comes with an amazing toro collar and tiramisu, along with more sushi, soup, and a carpaccio. Some memorable bites were the monkfish liver, fresh oyster, toro collar, daikon marinated red snapper, golden eye snapper nigiri, and the AMAZING housemade tiramisu.“

We came here multiple times before because of the quality and price of the food but this was crazy. Please come and support this business the food portion for the price the quality its amazing we left a huge tip in replacement because a free meal for a table of 6 is crazy.“

The music level was on point , low enough to talk loud enough to appreciate. The staff is very kind , they give off family vibes . Food came out quickly and hot . “I had dwaeji-gukbap, and I highly recommend it.
There was no unpleasant pork smell, and the thickly sliced meat was very tender.
The pickled perilla leaves served as a side dish were especially delicious—I recommend placing them on the meat and eating them together.“

“I tried Azuma for the first time a few weeks ago was very pleasantly surprised how good and authentic it was. Its a small restaurant with a line starting at 5 when they open. I went with a big group and we tried the chicken teriyaki, vegetable tempura, and curry which we all enjoyed. The portions are big enough to share! I would definitely come back and recommend!“

When its good its really good but when they miss sometimes its flavorless or super sweet as opposed to originally packed with flavor and all around balanced on bone flavor, spice herb packed, and sweet. Please follow old recipe or something. Still the pork spring rolls are a must have with the peanut sauce no matter what!“

“One of the best chicken restaurants in SoCal. Completely different level of yakitori that features multiple cuts of chicken that has been cooked masterfully. I got the Torimatsu course, a pretty filling omakase of 10 skewers, and a sasame ponzu which was surprisingly good. Standout skewers were the tsukune, tebasaki, and two non listed skewers of breast and thigh. The wait was about 1 hour after signing up for the waitlist, it was absolutely worth it and I will have to come back to try the other dishes I missed.“
