“As a devoted food lover, Dirt Dog- Gardena, is a Southern California experience worth savoring. From the moment you step inside, you're greeted by a striking large wall mural of the Legends of West Coast Hip Hop, adding to the laid-back vibe that California is known for.The menu boasts a tantalizing array of options, from bacon wrapped hot dogs to birria tacos to fried Oreos! But when in doubt, you simply can't go wrong with a classic dirty dog and a side of filthy fries. Each bite is a flavor explosion that leaves you craving more.Refreshing beer on tap perfectly complements the bold flavors of the food and adds an extra layer of enjoyment to the dining experience.Overall, Dirt Dog in Gardena is a must-visit destination for any food lover in Los Angeles. With its inviting atmosphere, delicious food, and refreshing drinks, it's the perfect spot to indulge in a taste of the West Coast.I HIGHLY RECOMMEND“
“Feels like a modern trendy hip pho spot that totally passes the vibe check. We were greeted as we came in even during the busy dinner time.Sat at one of the booths with space to have a stroller next to us without being in the way for others. The staff are super friendly with awesome ink tats and just super chill.I ordered the #4 pho with streak and brisket which was yummy, next time I will for sure get a large. We got 2 orders of the #30 the minced pork and veggies egg rolls which were delicious and gone as quickly as they came.Huge dinning area with a modern rustic open kitchen décor.Needed to stay up so I got me a Vietnamese coffee which was on point. Can’t wait to come back to try other things off the menu.Parking: Big parking lotKid-friendliness: Able to fit a stroller next to our table“
“Best thai place I had in awhile. Great value. I had the beef satay and my wife had the chicken satay. Beef satay is bomb. I recommend the cucumber salad over the papaya salad. It had a subway veggies type of taste. My wife is picky and ended up loving it. Be here soon again. 17 bucks average meal.“
“Delicious beer in a secluded, off the beaten path spot. I forget her name but the woman behind the bar was incredible: she made me feel welcome and gave me great suggestions for brews. We even talked about the LA craft brewery scene. Shout out to her!“
“Definitely one of the better ice cream joints in the South Bay. Nice people very friendly and cool quaint spot for a nice relaxing and chill time. The sweetie is my favorite as well as the honey comb with ice cream too. I also really like their apple with popping Boba drink very refreshing.Parking: Easy parking but make sure you go at the right time bc that location can get packedKid-friendliness: Very kid friendly“
“I love the ramen at Jidaya, especially their tonkotsu - it’s thick, rich and tasty. They’re very consistent, too. But to be honest, I thought about giving it 2 star so it doesn’t get too busy but post pandemic, everyone restaurant could use the business.“
“This place is a gem, I am so glad to have finally tried their food. There are lots of scrumptious options to choose from and right when I think I've made up my mind on what to get I spot the daily specials board. Mind you I did get in late for dinner so they were mostly sold out of their specials but I did not leave disappointed. The staff is friendly and very attentive, they make you feel like family. The chili is DELICIOUS! I loved it, I even took a pint of it home. Their poke is good, it was marinated with sesame oil and green onions. I also ordered a bento box and the somen salad and brocolli medley were the best parts. Overall a solid place to have a satisfying meal.“
“This place used to be called Bonellos, and it was great! Now it's different. The smell is different and the taste is different. For a while it was the same as Bonellos, eventually it was gonna change. Now it's no better than a pizza chain. I won't be going back, so disappointed. Not recommended.“
“This is an old Japanese soba restaurant. I had a good time visiting. Both for entertaining and personally. The staff at the store are Japanese, but of course their English is no problem. I used it yesterday for the first time in a while, and 80% of the customers were non-Japanese. Soba is becoming more and more recognized. I love the soba noodles, but I also love the ginger-yaki set meal. I love the spaghetti salad that comes with it. It's not on the menu, but it comes out when you order.“
“I visited this place for the first time. Wow, they really know coffee. I had a chai latte, it was prepared perfectly and served at the right temperature. My sister had a flaky custard pastry that was buttery, flaky, with a glazed sugar coating. It was delicious.Parking: Located in shopping mall“
“Nice little neighborhood brewery with a mini parking lot and plenty of street parking. The beertender was a nice guy and gave my husband a couple of splashes to help him decide which beer to choose. Looks like they are set up for some game playing a small stage for live music. Kind of quiet when we went on a Saturday afternoon. Seems like a great place for guys to get together.“
“Went there today just before closing. Purchased oxtails with candied yams & rice and gravy. Excellent tasting, the gravy was delicious oxtails were falling off the bones and the candied yams were very good also. Did not really like the corn bread dressing. The hostess, Star was very friendly and welcoming. I'm from the Chi and recommend it highly. Price was right also.Looking for good food check Matthews at 2222 W. Rosecran out. They also have delivery. Thanks Star, MickeyParking: Many“
“I stumbled upon this bakery because I was tired of donuts and wanted something different. The Lady at the counter was very nice and answered my questions. I had the mocha croissant, the Madeline and apricot and strawberry little jam containers. The croissant comes pretty close to the ones in France. The croissant was very flaky and tasty. I’m glad I stumbled across it and it brings back memories of France.“
“We were invited to spend an evening with friends at this spot in Gardena. We were pleasantly surprised at how easy it is to find parking either on the street or in the additional lot in the back. There's a patio area out front with plenty of seating and even a few party games ( Cornhole, Connect Four, etc) our party was seated near the door, and one of the several space heaters, which we appreciated more and more as the night went on It was Tuesday, and we took advantage of the Taco Tuesday special and there's also a deal for half/off Margaritas deal. Every one in our group tried a different drink, we were all pleasantly surprised. Being a cider house, that's what the hubby and I ordered. I had the 'Mexican Lollipop' a watermelon habanero cider which was the perfect amount of spice for me. May not be enough for others tho. The hubby got The Wipeout and Best Coast ciders, he enjoyed each one, the Wipeout just a bit more because it was less sweet and a bit more abv %We each got the tacos, I had the chicken, the hubby got the pork tacos. The tacos tasted great, street taco style. At $6 for three tacos, a good deal, although we were a bit hungry later. After a while the temperature dipped and we moved inside, which also has ample seating. Inside, the theme is SoCal beachy surf vibes. There's a few TV's if you want to see the games, the hubby got to catch the third quarter of the Lakers game! Four of us also played a round on the fooseball table there. Overall, we spent about 2.5 hrs there just hanging out, enjoying great drinks and food with good friends. A great spot to do just that. We'll be back soon“
“Food was awesome. Had the Pad Thai (single portion) and the Spicy Curry ( single portion)It is not a dine restaurant, you need to call or mobile order your food. I called before hand no answer, went to the location and ringed the doorbell and I was able to placed a order. Quick service once you get their attention.“
“I have been ordering through Uber Eats! Their soups are very filling and delicious! You get large portions. Enough to last for a couple of days! And everything is very fresh! I didn't rate atmosphere because I've only had it delivered!Vegetarian options: Any of there dishes vegetables instead of meat is an option“
“I held a birthday celebration/event at SoCal - Gardena, and I 1000% recommend this place! Aerin was extremely helpful via email, and very detailed. The booking process was so smooth and transparent. The team upon arrival/day of event, were extremely helpful, and considerate! My whole party was impressed with the service and location. I will definitely book a future event here again! Thank you, SoCal Vibes! :)“
“Place was easy to find. Has a food truck as well, but no drive thru, which was a setback. But the food was good. takes cash and apple pay. I wish the fries were bigger in size and less salty (for me). Nacho portion size is smaller to my liking, so you may have to order 2.Parking: Not alot of spaces, shares with food truck“
“Dotys tacos used to be so delicious BUT after Covid they just don't taste the same. They don't got the flavor and seasoning they used to. Idk if they have new owners but there not the same from when they used to park infront of DatMoi . There ok but not like how they used to be. They were the first taco truck on Crenshaw and the food and service was good and they had so many customers and there popularity brought in other food trucks . Now there's like 10 food trucks on Crenshaw.“
“As soon as i came in, the owner greeted me in well The drink is so good first of all and the atmosphere is great as well I would recommend the tea's with boba, It's at a mall so you are able to park for free, Come on and try out the tea's and the food as well in case your hungry,“
“Best carnitas I’ve had in years! Had lunch here today, only outside seating, so no frills, but more than made up with it in food quality and low prices. I will be going back here. A very good value and great food, plus if you’re up late at night they’re open until midnight most nights. My pictures aren’t the best, too much mid day glare, but you can read their menu.“
“Very little to no wait to order, the only wait is for the food to come out, but it makes sense since the food tastes fresh and delicious, the gyro wrap combo is simply amazing, served with the seasoned potatoes, a must for the first time visit. Overall, a great lunch at an amazing value, don’t forget to get a piece of baklava for dessert“

“You will not find better service than when you enter Borjstar. Honestly, they treat you like a star. They are attentive and incredibly kind, friendly, and accommodating. The food is just as great. Very flavorful and leaves you wanting more! They also have a yogurt/ice cream dispenser so you can treat yourself before/after your meal. Put Borjstar on your list of restaurants to visit in the Gardena/South Bay area. You won't regret it!“
