“Went to Yamashiro for the first time today! I have to say this is probably one of the best sushi places I have ever been to. The fried oysters were delicious! We ordered three different rolls and all of them were just beautiful from a presentation and artistry perspective, but tasting them was even better! The volcano roll was served on grapefruit slices, which made them very colorful and the scallops were cooked perfectly. The Yamashara roll was not only beautiful but it's the first time I have ever had mango with my sushi rolls and it actually added a really nice dimension of tropical fruit to already super fresh tasting tuna and avocado. The crispy roll had fried onions that were somehow not greasy, which was surprising. I'm wondering if they were air fried? But really great addition to texture for the rolls. We also had the yellowtail collar, which was cooked flawlessly. Oftentimes, yellowtail collar can you overcooked so part of it can be fairly dry. This caller was moist all the way around, perfect pockets of fish fat, and a very light unami salty flavor. The last thing we had, which I think was very fortunate because they don't always have it, was the Japanese tuna Ono which was cooked in a wonderful miso sauce.

I know I keep going on about this spot, but these rules were truly unique and I eat a lot of sushi, lol! Did I mention that we had a wonderful server, which I didn't get her name, but she's a Japanese woman that may have been the owner. I'm not sure, but her spirit was so respectful and refreshing and we loved her kindness and attentiveness. Really great service! I can't wait to go here again next time I visit the Redondo Beach area!!!“

Unique inventive drinks that hit the mark, great beans, great pricing, reward program, awesome staff, a place of community, and a rotating seasonal menu. I've tried many drinks and like them all but end up siding with the Tot cream latte most of the time. Highly recommend.“

“We ended up at Lozio Osteria Pizzeria Bar completely by accident. My friends and I were looking for a new place to celebrate my birthday, somewhere we hadn’t been before, and this turned out to be such a great find.

Honestly, all the food was absolutely delicious. The truffle fries were especially amazing. We finished them so quickly that we had to order another round.

We had bruschetta, a charcuterie board, Caesar salad, fettuccine bolognese, and carbonara, and everything was spot on. For dessert, we ordered a pistachio cake. The portions were perfect for a group of five girls, and we left happy and full.

The cocktails were also great, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic.

And the service really made the experience. Our waiter had such a great sense of humor, kept joking with us, and truly lifted the whole mood of the evening.“

“First time at this Cafe. Super nice atmosphere the people are great! My dad always says “that’s what makes a place good”. The food was very good (sorry no pics) but I ordered the Wildflower Two’s (eggs over easy w/ham and potatoes (not greasy) and rosemary garlic toast. Our server Andrea was super nice! Usually the workers are inside in the kitchen area so there’s a red bell you need to ring for them to come out and take your order. Portions and prices are great. I got mine to go and it was delicious. Ask for the daily menu. Mine was rice soup with green peas, carrot and beef, rice, beans and grilled chicken breast and sweet plantains. I also got the patacon (green fried plantain) with shredded beef on top. It was so delicious and juicy. The mango juice was so good and made with fruit I could taste the mango, I love Lulo
So I had to get Lulo too. My husband is American and Im colombian. We shared and have left overs for dinner. Thank you and i hope there’s more word of mouth for locals to check out this location.“
