This was our first time here, and we weren't sure what to expect. When we arrived, the first thing we noticed was how surprisingly small the parking lot was. And let me tell you, it definitely requires some parking skills!

We ordered two iced Americanos. The coffee was really nice and smooth, but the size was a little small for a large.

We would definitely come back for the coffee, but the parking makes us think twice about coming back. Good coffee, challenging parking!”

“Went to Yamashiro for the first time today! I have to say this is probably one of the best sushi places I have ever been to. The fried oysters were delicious! We ordered three different rolls and all of them were just beautiful from a presentation and artistry perspective, but tasting them was even better! The volcano roll was served on grapefruit slices, which made them very colorful and the scallops were cooked perfectly. The Yamashara roll was not only beautiful but it's the first time I have ever had mango with my sushi rolls and it actually added a really nice dimension of tropical fruit to already super fresh tasting tuna and avocado. The crispy roll had fried onions that were somehow not greasy, which was surprising. I'm wondering if they were air fried? But really great addition to texture for the rolls. We also had the yellowtail collar, which was cooked flawlessly. Oftentimes, yellowtail collar can you overcooked so part of it can be fairly dry. This caller was moist all the way around, perfect pockets of fish fat, and a very light unami salty flavor. The last thing we had, which I think was very fortunate because they don't always have it, was the Japanese tuna Ono which was cooked in a wonderful miso sauce.

I know I keep going on about this spot, but these rules were truly unique and I eat a lot of sushi, lol! Did I mention that we had a wonderful server, which I didn't get her name, but she's a Japanese woman that may have been the owner. I'm not sure, but her spirit was so respectful and refreshing and we loved her kindness and attentiveness. Really great service! I can't wait to go here again next time I visit the Redondo Beach area!!!”

But the ocean is near and a good place to sit on a bench and eat poke’! The service is always friendly. I love adding the soba noodles and at times the eel to my bowl. So good. The pasta wasn’t over cooked and the flavors well rounded. We ordered the Caprese and Bread to start then got some Vodka Pastas and the Curry Bolognese. Finished it off with a dessert trio along with some fun drinks. Out played came out fast and overall had an enjoyable time. The atmosphere was lively and the restaurant itself was very spacious.

“Ladies and gentlemen the winner in the two weeks ago Wednesday blind taco taste test two weeks ago. Everyone's favorite so believe the reviews. It's sparkling shiny and looks eat off the floor clean. The food is fast food priced and is not just a great value in a taste test with nearby El Tarasco that looks more local than this franchise ready busy choice. The taste here is the clear winner. You get less food but for half the price. Mahi Mahi fish taco compared to just the fish of the day at nearby Fiesta.”

“We were in the area and wanted Thai food and Bamboo Thai Bistro came up. We stopped in and were greeted. We ordered the Wonton Soup to start, Mixed Vegetables with Chicken,Orange Chicken, and a side of Steamed Rice.

The food came out quickly and it was fresh and delicious.

For dessert, we had the Mango and Sticky rice. It was great.

“We recently catered a birthday party w/Casa Playa. It was pretty short notice, 3 days, but they really made our party perfect! I called and Alathena helped walk me through the menu to choose just the right amount of food. They provided the buffet racks and the sterno (saved me a couple of trips looking for them). Everything was delivered exactly on time and hot! They even provided signs to make choosing easier. The food was DE-Licious!! Crispy tacos were awesome as were the enchiladas. Our guests kept raving about the food even the next day. If you need catering, call them! They’re terrific, easy to work with and very accommodating. Thank you Alathena! LC”

“A cute coffee pit stop on the way to or from the beach. Even though thus far I’ve only had the coconut coffee tonic, the menu appears to be creative of sorts.

I asked for a splash of milk in the tonic and was pleasantly surprised that it was coconut. Vibes won’t win any awards just yet. However, I take into account that some people can be shy, and they warmed up a little on my second visit. Shout-out to Asher, who asked how my day was going.

Atmosphere gets a 3/5 because I didn't sit inside long enough to vibe out the vibe, and there's no restroom. Call me old-fashioned.

For now, it will be my new regular pit stop.”

Usually the workers are inside in the kitchen area so there’s a red bell you need to ring for them to come out and take your order. Portions and prices are great. I got mine to go and it was delicious. Ask for the daily menu. Mine was rice soup with green peas, carrot and beef, rice, beans and grilled chicken breast and sweet plantains. I also got the patacon (green fried plantain) with shredded beef on top. It was so delicious and juicy. The mango juice was so good and made with fruit I could taste the mango, I love Lulo
So I had to get Lulo too. My husband is American and Im colombian. We shared and have left overs for dinner. Thank you and i hope there’s more word of mouth for locals to check out this location.”

“A coffee shop with a very calm atmosphere and a sense of history. The coffee is incredibly smooth and delicious.
It’s convenient, too, with free parking available.
The interior is old, so it might be a bit dusty, but the outdoor patio is pleasant.

Michael Walsh was a phenomenal Restaurant Coordinator, he saw the vision I had, and made the whole experience and dining remarkable and memorable. Everything is so fresh, it’s very clean including the bathrooms (us old ladies appreciate clean bathrooms 😂), indoor & outdoor seating, dog friendly and within walking distance to the beach. “I had a really good meal at Juicy Dumpling Factory! The soup dumplings were solid and packed with a lot of juicy broth. I also tried the pan-fried dumplings, and those were probably my favorite—they’re crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and just fun to eat.

The cucumber salad was bomb and super refreshing. I also ordered the beef noodle soup, and I was pleasantly surprised. The noodles were bouncy, tasted fresh, and the broth had a lot of flavor. It looks spicy, but it’s actually much milder than I expected, which made it easy to enjoy.

Overall, a great spot if you’re craving dumplings and comforting noodle dishes. I’d definitely come back to try more from the menu!”
