The beef galbi is just as impressive, perfectly marinated and grilled to bring out that sweet and savory combination. “Definitely the place to be on Sunday fun day! If you miss home in Hawaii, you'll feel like you are home not just because of the ono food but the incredibly courteous and caring staff. I drove up from Orange County and, the moment I walked in, I was greeted with an ALOHA and watched the place get packed. It was a perfect place to meet up with friends! Spam & eggs with rice for breakfast hit the spot. Malasadas are fresh and warm! Then they added live musicians playing Hawaiian music and I didn't want to leave. “Cherrystones catered my brother's celebration of life memorial last Sunday at the Toyota Meeting Hall in Torrance. We were about 120 people. The food and presentation was excellent. We opted for the Kalua Pork and the Teriyaki chicken, both delicious. Loved the broccoli salad and Mac salad. Our guests raved about the food. Cherrystones catered my dad's memorial in 2016 and the food was excellent then. I would not hesitate to use them again if I needed a catering service. Thank you Cherrystones for doing my brother proud.“

“Very friendly staff! They are always very nice and friendly. The food is delicious and you get large servings compared to other places! The atmosphere is great! Sometimes it gets a little busy, but their service is very fast! Love eating there!“

“There’s certain l&l’s that are great out of all the ones I’ve been to this one is third in my book.
The only thing I eat all the time is chicken katsu curry so that’s what I base my review on.
I got the regular size and as always it was a lot of food enough for two people or two meals.

While not exactly a plate lunch as it's not traditionally in the styrofoam it closely represents zippys with higher quality when compared to fare back home. U gotta navigate yourself here since it's in a food hall in a corporate park but free parking helps. Everything is reasonably priced and they have a wide selection especially with their garlic chicken and Portuguese sausage which is hard to find at most places. “Poke Etc is a good choice for poke lovers! The prices are on the lower side, but the quality is definitely on the higher end. The ingredients are always fresh, and there are plenty of ready options to choose from. The service could use some improvement, but overall, it’s still a great place to visit for a satisfying meal.“

The meat is medium to low quality, but it’s well seasoned and cooked properly.

“i came in on a friday night around 7 ish on 5/8 and the cashier was so sweet and attentive. food was good but i really just wanted to write this review so the manager knows that whoever was working the front tonight is an amazing employee and has great energy.“

“Was craving beef and rice, so I went to Ono Hawaiian BBQ.

This particular location has a drive-thru which is convenient for those who are on the go like myself.

Ordered the all beef plate with steam rice and substituted salad for macaroni salad.

Order came out exactly what I wanted and staff was Professional/Friendly at check out.

Couple of notes.
1. Drive-thru is convenient but can take a while before receiving your order due to customers ahead of you orders.
A. This particular wait was 20-30 minutes.

2. For $4-5.00 more, one can upgrade the beef plate to galbi plate.
A. Galbi does have bones.

If you are in the mood for a healthy alternative for beef/chicken, I recommend Ono Hawaiian BBQ.“

“Went here with my mother on Friday, September 12, 2025. They have so many delicious looking selections! My mother decided to get the Hawaiian BBQ Trio. It is $15.99 plus taxes. You are provided three different types of meat- pork, beef and chicken and macaroni and rice. I chose the fried rice. It was $13.99 plus taxes. They only advertise the Shrimp Fried Rice and since I'm not a Shrimp fan I asked if I could substitute it for a different meat. The attendant said sure would you like beef or chicken. I opted for the beef. She said no problem and substituted the meat for no extra charge. The food came out very hot within 10 minutes! They also provide bar-b-que sauce for each meal, napkins and forks. We both thought that our food tasted really good. We would definitely go back.“

“I went to this location today for Lunch on 06/13/26 the service was nice. The cashier named Mailin was very polite and courtesy. I appreciated her being very helpful when I was placing my order. There were two cooks in the kitchen, I didn't get their names but food taste good and they also give good portions sizes compare to other Hawaiian BBQ places who are stingy on the meat. Thank you guys for a great lunch.“
