The beef ribs are unreal — fall-off-the-bone tender with that rich, smoky BBQ flavor done just right. The beef galbi is just as impressive, perfectly marinated and grilled to bring out that sweet and savory combination. And don’t skip the chicken teriyaki with macaroni — it’s a must-try and such a satisfying, comforting combo.

The Hawaiian drink options are also super refreshing and really complement the food. They balance everything out perfectly and wash down all that freshness, making the whole meal even better.

“My first time here because I just so happened to be in the area. I had the brisket & tendon phó. It was delicious. It had so much tendon and I loved it. Great flavor and freshness. I read some of the reviews that were negative. My experience was nothing but positive. I like to eat at mom and pop restaurants. The service was polite and attentive. Give this establishment a try. I think you’ll find it a tasty and positive experience.“

“This poke is a class above all of the other shops, even in Hawaii. I think what makes them stand out is their sauces - every poke shop these days has good fresh tuna, but the flavors on this are just so good. The cucumbers are also a favorite of ours.“

“Last week I was traveling through LA on my way to Santa Barbara. I had some time to kill so I looked up Poke. Came across this amazing place! I am admittedly new to Poke. I drove up from Orange County and, the moment I walked in, I was greeted with an ALOHA and watched the place get packed. It was a perfect place to meet up with friends! Spam & eggs with rice for breakfast hit the spot. Malasadas are fresh and warm! Then they added live musicians playing Hawaiian music and I didn't want to leave. “Cherrystones catered my brother's celebration of life memorial last Sunday at the Toyota Meeting Hall in Torrance. We were about 120 people. The food and presentation was excellent. We opted for the Kalua Pork and the Teriyaki chicken, both delicious. Loved the broccoli salad and Mac salad. Our guests raved about the food. Cherrystones catered my dad's memorial in 2016 and the food was excellent then. I would not hesitate to use them again if I needed a catering service. Thank you Cherrystones for doing my brother proud.“

“Very friendly staff! They are always very nice and friendly. The food is delicious and you get large servings compared to other places! The atmosphere is great! Sometimes it gets a little busy, but their service is very fast! Love eating there!“

“There’s certain l&l’s that are great out of all the ones I’ve been to this one is third in my book.
The only thing I eat all the time is chicken katsu curry so that’s what I base my review on.
I got the regular size and as always it was a lot of food enough for two people or two meals.

“I tried this place for the first time today, and I am very happy I did.
It is a hole in the wall type place with Hawaiian style poke & other Hawaiian dishes.
I had the sweet & spicy ahi and salmon combination with rice, and it was excellent, in my opinion. Also, the service was quick and really friendly.

gave it a try, and made me feel shame, for not having been here sooner, and eating subpar poke elsewhere till now.

“The menu is small but very focused. It became very apparent why because as we eating da Ono grindz, we saw how busy you got. By the time we were all pau, everyone was served! You probably have to keep the menu small because it’s productive! But what you guys make…. Cheeeeee! Broke da mouth! The customer service just put the whole experience over the top! “The quality is very high. I was worried at first because the atmosphere is lacking a bit and how dirty the menus looked but I’ve had a lot of different poke spots and this one is top 10 all of the ingredients tasted fresh and great quality.

The price is high but I’m glad it clearly goes into the quality of ingredients they use.“

“Closest thing to Zippys with better seasoning and portions of meat I've found. While not exactly a plate lunch as it's not traditionally in the styrofoam it closely represents zippys with higher quality when compared to fare back home. U gotta navigate yourself here since it's in a food hall in a corporate park but free parking helps. Everything is reasonably priced and they have a wide selection especially with their garlic chicken and Portuguese sausage which is hard to find at most places. Solid place that I don't mind returning to just wish they had more locations in oc but I get it.“

“Made to order meat. Flavorful and not dry. Meat was a bit more fatty than expected. Macaroni salad wasn’t my favorite heavier mayo taste, but know a lot of people may like it. Kimchi & spicy cucumber was average. Spicy cucumber does have a nice crunch.

Pictured here is how I mix it up. I was too hungry and I started eating before I thought to take a picture. The young ladies working there are very sweet as well.“
