“Was in the area and saw this poke spot was close. I stopped in and the food looked really fresh and there was plenty of people inside and it was only 11:30. I ordered the large with 5 scoops and it filled me up. If I’m back in the area I will definitely have to stop and eat again“

“This is always a great spot for a quick lunch bite when craving Hawaiian Food.

Its a small business privately owned and service is always good here. Ambience is not much to write about - its functional and good for a quick lunch bite. They've have got a few small tables to grab a quick lunch and food is in the mark.

My goto dishes here are Garlic Shrimp Plate, Chicken Katsu and Beef BBQ. Can't go wrong withe either of these.

“I went to Aloha Stacks for breakfast on July 3rd. When I got there the line was out the door, but it moved pretty quickly. We ordered and got a table very easily. The food came very quickly and the wait staff was very attentive, checking to see if we needed anything several times. I had the chicken katsu and waffles and my companion had strawberry crepes and a side of kalua pork. All were delicious. It was very busy but they didn't rush us out. Parking is difficult...I parked on the street nearby.“

“For someone who adores beef, their beef bowl is da bomb, big and juicy just the way I like it. My boyfriend also had the big bros house special and I honestly don’t know which is best cause the sauce is heavenly.“

“Amazing! The whole family eats here. Ribs are unique and usually aren't served anywhere, but really like how they are one of the only ones to serve it. Katsu and the chicken are always my favorite. I do however recommend that they have a different sauce instead of a house sauce. A regular teriyaki sauce would be really good, which is something I suggest.

The person working at the front is amazing! One man show during peak hours sometimes and I always see him working hard. Keep it up!“

“First time ordering Poki bowl so I wasn’t sure what to expect. There is a build your own bowl menu card that you fill out. I had some questions and the chef was very helpful, he answered all my questions and I asked for some suggestions, he was spot on. I also ordered a cooked salmon dish. He was very friendly very helpful and the food was DELICIOUS ! And so very yummy! 😋 I will be back“

“I’ve been looking for a poke place and happened to find this little place. Went there once and the gentleman was very nice and helpful in the selection. My husband and I tried it at home and it was spectacular! Came back today and they were so generous in the quantity. I could say the best poke place I’ve eaten! If only I could afford eating at this place everyday, I would!“

“Awesome first experience! The traffic on Eastern had me turn into this food court. I've been to the green olive but decided for the Benton box at Poki N Roll. The tempura was lightly breaded and crispy. The portion of chicken and rice was very generous and I liked that the chop the chicken. Paola was very warm and welcoming. Thank you so much to the BOH and FOH for the great food and service. I'll be back to try other menu items.“

“The food was excellent! Had the Bacon Fried Rice, Island Style Fried Chicken, Hawaiian Style Mac Salad, and Ramen Cabbage Salad. The women's bathroom is clean. There are many table available to sit at. The service was friendly and quick. They serve plenty of onolicious food!“

It is a hole in the wall type place with Hawaiian style poke & other Hawaiian dishes.
I had the sweet & spicy ahi and salmon combination with rice, and it was excellent, in my opinion. Also, the service was quick and really friendly.

I'm thankfull I got to meet that lady during my short trip in LA. Such a breath of fresh air and a lovely experience.
She is patient and welcoming and the food is great ! I mean, just enter the shop and you'll know you'll be eating good tonight.
The portions are huge for the price too. We did 1 serving for both me and my sister, it was perfect. ▶️ 15$ ! That's it !
If I lived here, this would be my go-to for sure.“

Went to Check on Pancakes 5 Staff Standing Around Talking. Was told Pancakes were coming. After 10 minutes they finally arrived. Other Customers were having Service Problems Too.“

“I came after my nieces softball game at Norwalk high School. I have been looking for a good local Chinese fast food location. The quality of the food is tasty. They cut your teriyaki chicken when you order it, but I did happen to come when they were near the end of their coconut shrimp (still tasty). I am a fried rice only so I can't say how delicious the chow mien is. I would gladly recommend and if they were closer, this would be my go to spot for Chinese fast food.“

The staff was incredibly patient and took the time to walk us through the menu, helping us navigate the variety of proteins and sides for our poke bowls. Every bite was a delight, from start to finish. I can't recommend it enough—it's delicious, healthy, and totally satisfying!“

“It was good. I really enjoyed my poke bowl, and so did my asian mother who actualy doesn’t enjoy very much of anything not Chinese. My mother was kicking and screaming when I suggested the hanger. She was originally going to go somewhere else but I was very surprised when she brought a poke bowl back to our table. And she liked it. I ate a large, ate a half of a bowl, and brought the rest home. Put it in the fridge and took it out and just ate it and it was good! Some places the rice and other stuff isn’t good quality anymore, but nope this was just dandy. I got the brown rice, the salmon, albacore, spicy tuna, and octopus. I got most of everything. Got the asian sauce and the spicy mayo. I am accustomed to having poke bowls not as often but sometimes. But for my mother who I didn’t think would like it, to like it thats pretty good. It was her first time eating a poke bowl too.“

“We really enjoy the Loft Hawaiian food. They closed the really big nice one in Torrance and now there are multiple small ones with simple decor. The food is still amazing but the atmosphere is a bit less than the big restaurant was. I recommend everything but my favorite dishes are. Lomi Salmon, spam musubi, island style fried chicken, lau law and of course the kalua pork. It seems like everything comes with rice and macaroni salad. 😋 so good. I don't think you can go wrong here everything is delicious.“

“Best poke place in the area! Service is quick, staff is always friendly, the food is good and prices are reasonable.

Along with the flavor, another one of my favorite things about this place is they are not skimpy. I usually get a large and can spread it out over two days because it is so filling. The fish scoops are packed and they hook it up with the toppings and sauces.“

“If you plan on wanting to eat at home, definitely order ahead..Wait for Pupusas is usually about 20 minutes. The people there are very nice, they have reasonable prices, and I feel like they are consistent with the quality of their food( at least for the last 5 years that I've been going).. my go tos are usually Pupusas de queso con jalapeño and bean and cheese, oh and the loroco ones. Plus an order of yucca frita with chicharron.“

The food is like back home and I eat at a lot of restaurants back home in Hawaii, and ate in multiple restaurants in different countries, and the mainland.

So if you from Hawaii and try the food, you know you know.

“The food itself was good, but the service could be improved. I don’t expect over-the-top friendliness, but I was made to feel uncomfortable for asking basic questions about the toppings. I was the only customer there at the time, and even after explaining I couldn’t read the labels without my glasses, the responses felt dismissive. At the end, the tip screen was positioned facing the employee, which offered no privacy and made the situation feel awkward given the interaction.“

“I came in today and was attended by Jamila. She was a ray of sunshine and I enjoyed my food experience and chat with her. Coach girlies recognize coach girlies. As well as all the female cashiers were as equally kind and pleasant. The only thing I was disappointed with was the portions of my food I felt they were a little small for what I paid for.“

“I love poke in general. It can be tricky to come across a good poke place. I haven't had poke in a long while because of this.
I got salmon, spicy tuna, albacore, and scallops for my protein. White Rice base. Carrots, edamamae, mandarins, cucumber, this soft-crunchy combo topping that looks and tastes like stuffing (actually really good). I didn't know what sauce so I got spicy mayo and this combo the server recommended.

It was all excellent. Loved every bite. Fairly priced and servings were good.“
