Matiki Island BBQ | Hawaiian is an amazing, family-owned little gem. The food and service are so authentic, with huge portions of delicious meat, rice, and macaroni salad. The food is fantastic, always fresh, flavorful, and consistently good. The people who work there are pretty amazing. The restaurant has a really cool atmosphere, looks clean and organized, and the employees work efficiently as a team. The pickup process is quick and easy.
The beef ribs are to die for, dropping off the bone and tender. The short ribs are delicious with amazing flavor. The kalua pork is amazing, so tender and delicious, and not too salty. The macaroni salad is hands down a favorite part of the meal, perfectly cooked with that ideal al dente texture, creamy, flavorful, and well seasoned. The chicken is simple but cooked well. Try the beef rib plate for a hearty meal. They even have a tropical frozen dessert that is refreshing on a hot day. Generous serving portions of meat for the price cannot be beat. Highly recommend for flavorful, satisfying Hawaiian barbecue.
