“First off the ambiance is this place is amazing! It's just so pretty and opulent! I didn't really know what to expect as it's located in the middle of a busy area next door to a burger joint. Once you enter the driveway and walk up the ramp, you see a beautiful historic home and a pretty tent covered "front yard" dining area with twinkling flower lights in the trees, perfect for hosting a special event or just a nice dinner. My kids were thrown off with the dining experience as they felt like they were eating in a living room, which it probably was at one point. Next to where we were dining was a "sun room" that would be fun to be seated in also! I explored upstairs and there is a spacious bar area along with a restroom and a couple of the bedrooms that were converted to dining areas as well. So cute. We came here to celebrate my oldest son's birthday. We ordered a few drinks, gluten free Penne Amatriciana, penne Carbonara, Cacio e Pepe, margherita pizza and the Whitefish Florentine. We also ordered for dessert the tiramisu, and the soufflé El Niño, and our server brought out a celebration plate of 3 mini desserts with a candle for my son's birthday. Everything we had was great. The presentation of the food was so pretty. The pizza was a bit on the soggy side due to the tomatoes that were on there but the taste was still good. They have gluten free penne as a pasta option and vegetarian options as well for those with these dietary needs. I can't say enough about our server, she was great. She was so so nice and attentive and made our evening memorable. As a matter of fact, every staff member I encountered here took the time to greet me. I'd love to come back here again for another special occasion! Highly recommend.”

“This place is so cute! It reminds me of a hipster joint you would find in LA or Tokyo. They play funky music and offer happy hour everyday 8pm to close and you get $2 off munchies (their version of appetizers or small plates) and $1 off drinks. The food can be pretty spicy. For example, the drunken noodles were like a 7/10 on spice level. The boat noodle soup was loaded with robust flavor. The fried chicken wings appetizer was moist with a sweet and tangy sauce. They offer a variety of drinks from Thai tea to fresh coconut as well as unique desserts! I've been to Thailand and some of the best Thai restaurants in LA and OC and this place ranks among them for their creativity and uniqueness. The service is good and everything came out in good time. Another plus is that they provided eco-friendly to go packaging AND their water is fresh and clean! Didn't taste like tap water! I'd come back to try their other foods but make sure that the spice is not as intense.”

“I've been trying to come to this place for the past couple years but they've always been closed since they're not open Sunday-Wednesday which is usually when we drive down to Disneyland from the Bay Area. We were finally able to come down on a Saturday and reserve a spot way in advance. Food was good but we came to drink the drinks. “The wife and I went in there on a whim after seeing this on Instagram. We each had a drink. She had the peach black tea and I had the strawberry green tea, the drinks were very refreshing, well-made and fresh. “For years, I've seen people walking around with treats from this stand but never tried. I wish they offered mobile order/pay as I do not want to have to wait in a line, but love they have more options than the dole whip stand that does in fact offer dole whip. I really enjoyed the Chile-Mango Whip! For $8.49, I was impressed with the fresh fruit and size of the portion. Easily split this between 2-3 people and be satisfied! Lastly, I love all the decor and the ambiance of the seating once you order. Definitely a must try location even in it is just once!”

Nicole was our server and she was looking out for the family 100%. She gave us recommendations and they were all great but by far the banana bread was fire!!! He was efficient, knowledgeable about our food and drinks and had amazing communication skills, the other servers were awesome too. We got to enjoy the 8 course menu along with some tasty cocktails. I personally loved the ceviche tostada, lamb chop & crispy sushi rice with prime smoked brisket... the cocktails that were paired were amazing. “It was me and my wifes 5 year anniversary and we decided to celebrate at flemings steakhouse. Food and service were great. My wife loved their 35 oz tomahawk steak and I had the bbq glazed salmon. Both entrees were delicious. The sides that came with our meal were out of this world!! I loved the chipotle mac and cheese and cream spinach. We got the carrot cake for dessert and it was on point. There are nice big windows, a beautiful bar, tvs, and just the overall feel of the place is awesome. The Mango Cart beer was honestly the best beer i've ever had. Even my usually non-beer-drinking fiancé had one. The fried avocado tacos were amazing. Our server Ryan was great. He was very friendly, especially when he found out we were fellow Ducks fans. We will definitely be back.My only complaint is that we can't take this place (or 12 cases of beer) home with us.”

“My husband and I have been here before for lunch dates, and we brought our four kids, ranging in age from 8 to 14, here for my birthday dinner last week. I cannot say enough positive things! Every person’s order was absolutely delicious and each one of our kids actually ate their entire meal. I got the Mediterranean bowl and my mouth is watering just thinking about how good it was. We got the chocolate brownie with ice cream and churro ice cream sandwich for everyone to share for dessert, and everyone was literally trying to box each other out to get more bites because they were both so good lol! The atmosphere was fun but also relaxed, and our server was lovely.The crazy thing is, the prices were so reasonable! We ordered an appetizer, six entrees, and two desserts for the same price as five entrees with NOTHING else at Applebees the previous week, and the food at The Hive was waaay better. “We went to Disney for 3 days, this Denny's was in walking distance of our hotel and has an ART bus stop right out front to take you to the park. Every morning we were greeted by their friendly staff, enjoyed a filling breakfast and most importantly hot coffee. Frank and the crew took good care of us. Plus they are open 27/7.”

“I come to this Denny's sometimes 4 days a week and always around the same time (2-4 am) and always order the same thing (coffee and lumberjack slam with eggs over medium white toast and upgraded pancakes to the salted caramel banana pancakes). By now as soon as I walk through the door , I am always greeted warmly by the same gentlemen (except on Saturdays when there is a lovely woman serving me) By now I never need to repeat what I'm getting because they already know. And are letting me know they'll put in my order. I love that, they are always attentive and by the time I'm out of the restroom, my coffee is waiting for me to fix up with French vanilla creamer and sugar and spoon there for me to mix in. The food is always exactly how I like and very tasty especially the hash browns .....the atmosphere is always quiet with 2 or 3 other diners. It's my one constant I can count on every week and I appreciate that immensely.”

Today was the final day of the coupon sale, so I used mine to buy a veggie delite meal. Very affordable and very good. I considered estimg inside --there were sufficient seating and the place was clean and well-lit, but out of caution due to the new COVID strain, I chose to eat in my car. Yummy.”

I ordered a double cheese smash burger with fries on their tablet screen. Once I received the order from one of the lockers I had to request more ketchup because I only received two small packets. “It was my first time here at this establishment and it did not disappoint. Not only was the food amazing but customer service was on point. The cashier was so nice and even made some great suggestions I couldn't decide on just one so I got both the Chilaquiles Cremosos which she recommended and I also tried the Mollete with Soy Chorizo. The chilaquiles is a small portion but very rich in flavor the chips where crispy and the chipotle sauce was definitely very creamy and delicious. The chilaquiles also came with Chicken which was very tender and not overcooked. The cook brought out a salsa for me to try I believe it was called "salsa matcha" it was like a chili oil salsa I believe. Very spicy but not too overpowering where you can't still enjoy your food. The presentation of the food also makes it very appetizing like they take pride on what they are serving. The ambiance was great it gave off library cafe vibes for some reason very cute in the decor. There prices are a little higher than what i expected for the portion that they give though the only reason why I'm giving 4 out of 5. I wish I took a picture of the side of sour cream but i ordered 2 sides of sour cream and it was about $1.25 and it's literally less than a quarter size for the prize. As you can also tell on the mollete not a lot of soy chorizo on the toast. Regardless it was very delicious very rich in flavor with the beans, cheese and tomato. I enjoyed every bite. I would definitely come back hear again even though the portion size is small compared to what the price is. It's the quality of taste and how it was made that is realing me to come back.”

We had ordered our food in advance, and I read in some reviews that they had a gluten-free option for the bread. My partner got a tuna sandwich and I got the turkey sandwich gluten-free, which is served on an arepa. It was delicious, and the first gluten-free sandwich I have been able to get out since I stopped eating gluten almost a year ago. My partner loved his sandwich, and it was gone in minutes. “We were here for the X-JAMM Elements of Sound event during NAMM 2019. I bought our tickets because of Devin Townsend, but we were both excited to see Larry Mitchell, OHM (guitar god Chris Poland) and Larry Mitchell perform live, as well. I had no idea what to expect from the venue itself; I bought tickets two days before the show and was super disappointed by our placement. We were in the front row, but sitting at stage right. I thought for sure I'd miss a lot because I am so vertically challenged. Turns out I had no reason to despair. Our seats were practically on stage. They set up a small row of seats where the pit would live (in another, non-seated venue). We had up-close views of all performers, and the audio was expertly mixed to allow us to experience the music in all its glory. We were shown to our seats right when we checked in, and instantly had one of the friendliest waitresses at our side, asking for our drink and/or food orders. We both asked for a Guinness and told her we might order food later (it's not food from the restaurant next door if you're curious; they only serve stadium-type items). She came back empty-handed, apologizing profusely that the bar was out of Guinness. We changed our orders, and let her know it was totally fine, but she was so sweet and I could tell she felt bad. She made it a point to check on us throughout the night (we did end up sharing an order of $8 nachos to go with our $8 beers; at least she hooked us up on the cheese sauce), making sure not to bother us while a performance was actually happening. Now that I know that this place exists, I'll keep an eye on their events calendar. I liked how easy it was to get there, and how friendly the staff was. “Every Once in a While the Best Surprise is One You Never Saw Coming! The Bowl & Plate Eatery is Exactly That!!! Driving south on Magnolia Street in Anaheim Sunday, Feb. 25 around 6pm. Just before I reached Ball Road, I remembered there used to be a 'hole-in-the-wall' Italian restaurant tucked into the northeast corner of a little strip mall there. It's been a while so I wasn't sure what I'd find but I made the left turn into the parking lot to explore. No more Italian restaurant (sigh). But in its place I see a quaint looking sign proclaiming the new establishment's name: The Bowl & Plate Eatery. Some quick Internet searching gave sufficient details to convince me to enter...that and my growling stomach! A tasteful and minimalist small dining area offered seating for perhaps 15 guests. Upon my arrival this particular Sunday evening, I was one of three. The owner gestured for me to take a seat, brought over a menu and offered a smile so warm and bright I knew she loved what she was creating here. Seriously, her exuberance was evident in abundance. I'm now even more convinced I made the right choice for this evening's dinner. I won't list the whole menu but I will speak of my selections: - Chicken Vegetable Dumplings - Steak Salad - Choco Roti with Ice Cream Everything is infused with blended Asian flavors. The dumplings were perfectly seared on the bottom, offering a nice crispy-crunch with every bite. Their dipping sauce added just the right amount of 'Zip!' without being overpowering. The steak salad was heaping with fresh leafy greens of several varieties and the steak bites were perfectly cooked and lightly seasoned. The Choco Roti with ice cream was a last minute addition and WOW! am I glad I did. Small wedges of delicately toasted flat bread, drizzled with sweet icings and a touch of cinnamon, served with a healthy scoop of vanilla ice cream, also drizzled with icing. A great combination of sweetness and savory to end a fantastic meal. Mind you, The Bowl & Plate Eatery is not staffed by a team of experts, cranking out cookie-cutter meals-o-plenty. No No! It was staffed by the owner of that amazing smile, who also happens to own the restaurant. She handled it all, from greeting and seating, to explaining, order taking, meal preparing and serving. She's even her own busboy! And all of it in a timely, orderly manner. No rushing nor resting. A model of efficiency and a skilled chef t'boot. No need to ask if I will return. I will have to add this to my monthly restaurant sojourn list. The owner said she's been there for 3 years now and I fault myself for not discovering The Bowl & Plate sooner. And please note, this is not the steam-table Asian food take-out style place. This is well-crafted dishes prepared with passion and heaped with love of craft. Yes, you'll pay a bit more for this but with every bite you'll know it is So, SO Worth It! I'm hopeful The Bowl & Plate is well-visited to keep it in business. This level of original and fresh is rare indeed. I'll keep doing my part! Now it's your turn! Get to The Bowl & Plate for lunch or dinner today!”

Food was better than expected. Rice was a little dry, and I was expecting the chicken to be dry based on previous reviews (I ordered the chicken on accident), but it was actually really good. The green enchilada sauce was good and so was the shredded beef taco. No one had any complaints about their food or drinks. The only annoyance is that they won't split more than 2 checks per table. I get it, its a lot of work, but so is collecting payment from 7 different people to put it on one card. They did total everyones separately so that was helpful. And they split the cost of the chips 7 ways so that was nice. Bottomline, if you eat here, have reasonable expectations and you'll enjoy.”

We ordered an appetizer, six entrees, and two desserts for the same price as five entrees with NOTHING else at Applebees the previous week, and the food at The Hive was waaay better. We will 100% come back here for more lunch dates and family dinners!”

“Such a great place! There is something to eat for everyone! Come with a group so you can try a little bit of everything. We tried : White Elephant (pad sew ew), El Chamango (passion fruit agua fresca), Le Parfait Paris(crookie), Zabon Ramen and rolls (hand rolled sushi). I want to go back again! It was delicious!”

“Love this place! I always will come here and get a joelatti when I'm in the area. My favorite flavor is mango tango. Workers are very kind whenever I come. The decorations are very nice and stand out. Parking is the only downside. There is limited parking, I will usually park in the neighborhood across the street and walk. My favorite spot!”

“This place was amazing! We live in San Diego, came to anaheim for Disney and were looking for a good spot to eat. Luckily we found this place. The server Miguel Angel treated us like family and made us feel so welcome. The food was delicious and the hot chocolate was the best I've ever had. Highly recommend you try this place, oh and it was under 100$ for 5 adults and we left stuffed.”

“If you know you know! The food is good! My husband and I ordered two bowls. We got a beef bulgogi bowl and a chicken bulgogi bowl. You can choose a bunch of toppings to cover your side. (Choose one: white rice, brown rice, lettuce) You can put all the toppings or a few. I put all the toppings except cheese and sour cream. I chose medium hot sauce. You can have the sauce drizzled on top or ask for it on the side. There were two workers. They were very nice and welcoming. The place is small. It was easy to find parking. “My wife and I got the biryani bowl, the Frankie roll, and the samosas. Everything was delicious! The green sauce is good but the tamarind chutney was amazing. Such a great balance of spices. I'm so glad we saw this place on Instagram and we can't wait to get this again!”

“AYCE sushi! Mon-Fri till 2pm lunch price $32.98 After 2pm & weekends dinner price $38.98 Dinner price includes some premium items such as oysters, sashimi, etc but only one order per person. Hot appetizers were pretty good. Nice selection of special rolls. I like how some of rolls only come with 2 pieces but you can order more next round if you want. They also took some half roll requests so you can get 4 pieces instead of 8 for some rolls. They allowed my significant other to not get AYCE since he doesn't like sushi & allowed me to get it. Overall, pleasant experience. Nice sushi and not too busy on a Friday late afternoon.”

“ok don't get me wrong the food here is amazing, but the seating... not so much. I ordered the Las Vegas roll and soo good. The California Roll was my favorite. The service is very nice. The staff are extremely friendly and sweet. So if you are looking for sushi in Anaheim this would be the place!”
