We are so very happy we did the food and the drinks were incredible.
The end of November was their five year celebration so they had a few special meals and drinks on the menu and they went beyond my expectations, they all exceeded what the video said to expect this was the perfect cap to our Saturday.

“My friend and I recently visited The Blind Rabbit which is located inside the Packing House. We decided to try our luck without a reservation and put our names on the waitlist. To our surprise, there were a few cancellations, and after waiting about 25 minutes, we were texted that our reservation was ready.
As we entered the speakeasy, we were warmly greeted by the staff and immediately taken in by the festive Christmas decor—it truly set a magical tone. The drinks and music created a lively and cozy atmosphere, and the bartenders were incredibly friendly and engaging, adding to the charm of the evening.
Unfortunately, since we arrived later in the evening, the kitchen was already closed, so we didn’t get a chance to try the food. This gives us the perfect reason to return—I’m eager to explore more of their drink menu and try some of their food offerings next time!
Overall, The Blind Rabbit is a gem of a speakeasy with great vibes and exceptional service. Highly recommended, but I’d suggest making a reservation to guarantee your spot!”

Most companies just write short generic apologies and give an email for any further quedtions so this shows they really want to do better. And that's all im asking for. This is my nearest subway so I've gone here many many times and know the hours, but if I'm going loser to closing time I still call to see if they are actually open so I don't show up just to find the door locked early. Tonight, that's what happened. I was told they close at 12 (midnight) showed up at 11:40 p.m. but the door was locked. The employee was mopping and had all the chairs already stacked up and all food was already put away so he clearly had closed everything down even earlier then when I showed up. I've worked closing shifts at a restraunt many times so I get that employees want to just get off and go home at the end of the night. Closing down any type of food establishment can take a while. However that's your job! Working a closing shift almost never means getting off right at closing in the restraunt industry. If the hours say open until midnight, you don't close at 11:15.still, it wouldn't have bothered me enough to write a review, except the employee working just turned his back to us and completely ignored us and another customer that had showed up at the same time. That is just rude and unnecessary. At least acknowledge the customers and apologize or explain why you needed to close down so early. It's really simple.”

I didn’t get any photos of our food because we were exhausted and very hungry. It’s worth the stop of your craving meat after a day of park hopping and slamming carbs in Disneyland. We had Kelsey, Christian and Kyle in the bar as servers. I wasn’t mistake free but that’s when real customer service is tested. They took care of everything before it became an issue. That’s very appreciated! They were pros and the food was what we have come to expect from Ruth’s Chris.”

“We were here for the X-JAMM Elements of Sound event during NAMM 2019. I bought our tickets because of Devin Townsend, but we were both excited to see Larry Mitchell, OHM (guitar god Chris Poland) and Larry Mitchell perform live, as well. I had no idea what to expect from the venue itself; I bought tickets two days before the show and was super disappointed by our placement. We were in the front row, but sitting at stage right. I thought for sure I'd miss a lot because I am so vertically challenged. Turns out I had no reason to despair. Our seats were practically on stage. They set up a small row of seats where the pit would live (in another, non-seated venue). We had up-close views of all performers, and the audio was expertly mixed to allow us to experience the music in all its glory. We were shown to our seats right when we checked in, and instantly had one of the friendliest waitresses at our side, asking for our drink and/or food orders. We both asked for a Guinness and told her we might order food later (it's not food from the restaurant next door if you're curious; they only serve stadium-type items). She came back empty-handed, apologizing profusely that the bar was out of Guinness. We changed our orders, and let her know it was totally fine, but she was so sweet and I could tell she felt bad. She made it a point to check on us throughout the night (we did end up sharing an order of $8 nachos to go with our $8 beers; at least she hooked us up on the cheese sauce), making sure not to bother us while a performance was actually happening. Now that I know that this place exists, I'll keep an eye on their events calendar. I liked how easy it was to get there, and how friendly the staff was. I just know to plan to eat dinner ahead of time, to save money.”

“The Baseline: The Ice Cream Baseline consists of having quality dairy product, variety of flavors/mix-ins, and serving quantity for the price. Ghirardelli hits 2 out of 3.
Food: The ice cream base (dairy and non-dairy) is of very high quality where the milk/cream ratio is make the ice cream smooth and silky. The flavor selection is not broad but the assembly with mix ins is high quality and good, probably the best hot fudge I can get. The serving sizes are large enough but this has the added expense of theme park pricing.
Service: Service is easy as you order from the register and pickup from the window. Everyone is friendly and smiling as to be expected at a Disney Theme Park.

It was a Saturday evening, and the only restaurant at the Garden Walk that didn't have a one hour or more wait to be seated for our party of four adults and two children. We were greeted and seated quickly. We sat on the patio, which was pretty good, given there was live music inside the restaurant. Not that it wasn't fairly loud outside, too. But, not as loud. We liked the selection of dishes. Prices were probably on par for the touristy area and restaurants in the vicinity. After placing our drink and dinner orders, we didn't have to wait too long to be served. The food was plates nicely and of decently large portion size. Flavors were good and the food was served at a good temperature. It was fairly chilly this evening, so the food cooled quickly. But, still delicious. Overall a good dining experience. If you're not into loud music, or somewhat boisterous happenings, then avoid this restaurant when there is live entertainment. We enjoyed the food and mostly enjoyed the atmosphere. The patio area does have some heaters for dining in the chilly evening.”

It was hard to choose between all the craft cocktails, but we ended up ordering Lulu Lemons which were excellent! I play mixologist when entertaining at home, and when I expressed interest in recreating this drink for our friends, Stephanie was kind enough to share the recipe! The menu is full of yummy Texas-style BBQ options made from locally sourced meat, and it was hard to choose. We landed on brisket grilled cheese with a side of mac & cheese (can you have too much cheese?!) and a harvest brisket salad. Both were so delicious. The outside table area was pretty full and although she was covering a lot of tables, Stephanie was knowledgeable when guiding us through the menu, super attentive and personable to boot! “We were here for the X-JAMM Elements of Sound event during NAMM 2019. I bought our tickets because of Devin Townsend, but we were both excited to see Larry Mitchell, OHM (guitar god Chris Poland) and Larry Mitchell perform live, as well. I had no idea what to expect from the venue itself; I bought tickets two days before the show and was super disappointed by our placement. We were in the front row, but sitting at stage right. I thought for sure I'd miss a lot because I am so vertically challenged. Turns out I had no reason to despair. Our seats were practically on stage. They set up a small row of seats where the pit would live (in another, non-seated venue). We had up-close views of all performers, and the audio was expertly mixed to allow us to experience the music in all its glory. We were shown to our seats right when we checked in, and instantly had one of the friendliest waitresses at our side, asking for our drink and/or food orders. We both asked for a Guinness and told her we might order food later (it's not food from the restaurant next door if you're curious; they only serve stadium-type items). She came back empty-handed, apologizing profusely that the bar was out of Guinness. We changed our orders, and let her know it was totally fine, but she was so sweet and I could tell she felt bad. She made it a point to check on us throughout the night (we did end up sharing an order of $8 nachos to go with our $8 beers; at least she hooked us up on the cheese sauce), making sure not to bother us while a performance was actually happening. Now that I know that this place exists, I'll keep an eye on their events calendar. I liked how easy it was to get there, and how friendly the staff was. I just know to plan to eat dinner ahead of time, to save money.”
