First time going to this restaurant. It's a counter serve BBQ joint with friendly service and good food. Our order was "to go" and we ordered the 3 meat plate with sliced brisket, pulled pork, and smoked turkey. For our two sides we chose baked beans and mac-n-cheese, plus we added a large order of fries.While we were waiting, we sat at a table for two near the counter. Want the real taste of SMOKED BBQ and slow cooked food with pit master love? Go to Blake's Place. Lucille's has got some good competition from this modest but explosive flavor BBQ restaurant. On your way out, grab a bottle of their signature bbq sauce. It is like the "cherry on top" on a sundae.

Quality does not come cheap but if you appreciate a very good meal that is large enough for something the next day as well, then this is your place. I purchased the exceptional crispy fries covered with sauce and my choice of meat that made me look forward to leftovers. Every time we are back in town to visit family Blakes Place is at the top of our list.
