“I ordered from this restaurant through GrubHub and was surprised at the quality despite all the negative reviews.. however I had checked them after I ordered and when it came I was pleasantly surprised at the quantity and quality of each dish. I ordered the birria tacos and the carne asada fries. The salsa was perfect the beans were great, and the tacos were loaded with meat. Being from Southern California myself, I got to say this definitely ranks up there with some of the best I've ever had“

“First time visiting and staff is very friendly. Samantha helped me out as I was undecided with all the delicious options. I ordered the 2 Quesabirria taco plate. It came with rice, beans and consume. So delicious I order another to go. lol (Don’t judge me #foodlover). The restaurant is clean but was a bit warm. Had an AC on but in this heat, it was still a bit warm. Gave atmosphere 4 stars for that reason. Otherwise, very nice and chill spot. Samantha was great and very tentative.“

“Chose to come here very last minute after learning a different Whittier favorite restaurant had closed. We were unaware of required reservations but the owner was extremely accommodating for us to which I was truly grateful. It was an extremely busy Friday as there was a large party. The cleanliness and vibe of the establishment was amazing. There was a live band playing which added more to the first experience. Drinks and presentation were great and then the food arrived and everything was chefs kiss!! Mole chips are great but the mole negro was some of the best I have ever had. Portions are enough to share if needed. To the owner - thank you for being so accommodating. Parking here is extremely limited in the back. Street parking is the best bet.“

“Tried for the first time this gem of a restaurant for authentic Mexican cuisine here at downtown Santa Ana. We sat outside with our dog and we’re greeted by our server Vanessa, lovely lady that made us feel so welcome. She’s gregarious and amiable enough to accommodate our search for the right food on the menu. Started with the watermelon margarita with guacamole chips and salsa. For our main menu, we end up with their mole and the fish dish so tender and delicious. Overall the place is such a rare find and wouldn’t mind coming back here again.“

“We celebrated my daughter's birthday brunch here. The food was delicious. The service was amazing. The cafe de oya was just like my Tia used to make. Beautifully decorated. I would recommend this place to anybody who wants to come to a fresh Mexican meal.“

“I went today on a whim and tried out their Pupusa's. I tried the jalapeno and cheese, beans and cheese with chicharron, and the chicken and cheese. All three were big and had a great portion of all the stuffings. Great salsa and curtido as well“

I only got a couple of tacos but I will definitely be coming back! Some of the best carne asada i've had (shoutout to the cooks!!)

Atmosphere was great too the open concept is great for a large group and also to come by and watch sports - with the world cup going on lots of people came with families or solo even to just have some great food and watch.

“Today my son and I decided to have Rodrigo's for lunch. Our server was Alainnah. I must say she was amazing. Friendly, professional. I told her we were pressed for time because my son was on his lunch break, she had our food out in a timely manner. My son and I had a wonderful experience today because of Alainnas service. “I don’t typically leave reviews but this place really knocked it out with the food and service. We came on a Saturday. It wasn’t busy. The burrito I ordered was amazing . The chicken was charred and very flavorful. My husband enjoyed his birria pizza. The margaritas were great. I can’t think of one bad thing to say. Most likely will be back.“
