“It’s 6:40 on a Saturday night and I’m alone in this taco shop. I can’t understand that. Maybe it’s a K-town secret.
The food has excellent flavor. I ordered the carne asada bowl. The crunchies in top are special. It’s delicious, but the steak is a little chewy. It’s a lot of food for a reasonable price. The red salsa is super tasty, but use caution with the yellow salsa. She’ll make you cry.
I’ll probably come back tomorrow and order the chicken.
The employers are sweet. The shop is clean.“

“I'd like to share my experience at Encanto restaurant. The warm, welcoming atmosphere with soft lighting and pleasant music makes you want to stay, relax, and enjoy a good conversation. I came with my wife and child - we were greeted politely and seated exactly where we felt most comfortable. I started with the signature Margarita: perfect in presentation and flavor balance - it immediately set a great mood. Next, I ordered the ceviche set. The first two (Cona Konpachi and Aguachile) were truly outstanding - a symphony of flavors with perfectly balanced ingredients that complemented each other beautifully. The other two ceviches in the set, however, felt unbalanced - the dominant note was excessive acidity. For mains, I had the grilled fish - served on a sizzling hot pan, with a deep charred aroma and a well-judged marinade. Excellent. The steak, unfortunately, disappointed: first it was overcooked, then undercooked. But a special thank you to our server, Kristi - she was attentive and professional, and she turned my overall experience back into a very positive one. I highly recommend Encanto for its ambiance and service. As for the food - some dishes are fantastic, others still need fine-tuning. But with a team like this, I believe this restaurant can definitely bring you great pleasure.“

“This is our favorite Mexican restaurant in all of San Juan Capistrano. The atmosphere is wonderful and the food is delicious and not overpriced. The Happy Hour is the best deal around. “Stopped here after visiting the Museum of Death. I was surprised it wasn’t very busy. The service was quick, and the food was hot, but I wish there was salt at the table. My only suggestion is to treat solo diners a bit nicer. My server wasn’t rude, but I could tell I wasn’t a priority because I was by myself. Overall, the food was presented beautifully, the prices were reasonable, and I was served quickly. Happy with my experience here.“

“A nice place to have Mexican cuisine. It is definitely value for money restaurant. Most of the seating is outside so it may be a little cold but they have placed fireplace around to keep the guests comfortable. Parking may be an issue since the place has only 3-4 dedicated free parking spots otherwise you can park on the streets. They have good options for vegetarians. Worth a try.“
