“I was on a delivery call out to Artesia and after driving for over an hour to get here I got hungry so I looked at my surroundings and as far as restaurants go there were slim pickings, but out of the corner of my eye I saw this Mexican restaurant across the street from the fast food place I was going to settle for.I'm glad I looked around because I discovered gold!I've been to many Mexican restaurants all over LA county and this one is in my top 3 from hundreds of others. The food is original and the flavors really come through onto your palate.I could taste the fresh chicken inside my enchiladas, I could taste the freshness of the green sauce, I could taste the lemon on the onions that topped my enchiladas, I could even taste which chiles they used for the hot sauce they brought with my chips while I waited for my food. Everything had its own flavor but it was a compilation of true freshness that can only be achieved when you truly value your craft and this amazing restaurant is head and shoulders above the rest when it comes to honest, fresh, and flavorful Mexican food!If I lived nearby I would eat here 3 to 4 times a month. The variety of dishes gives you so many options it's impossible to repeat the same dishes in 30 days! LOL.I loved the atmosphere within his family friendly and I definitely loved the food. You can trust me on this, Oaxaca Village is as authentic as going to a Mercado in Guadalajara or a Fonda in Huatulco.Get here as soon as you can, you'll thank me later.Parking: A few stores in this little strip mall but you can also go around the building to find more parking.“

“I'm blessed with five BFF's for the past 50 years and we have celebrated each other's birthdays together for all of these years! So my bestie Jeri chose Amor Y Tacos for our outing today too celebrate her 59th birthday It was all of our first time too this restaurant and the funny thing is that it is 10 minutes from my home and I didn't even know. Well from the moment we arrived the waitress was delightfully sweet and the atmosphere was warm and friendly and casually welcoming. The waitress Kristin V., who was assigned to our table was very friendly and helpful plus had great menu suggestions which made us feel welcomed All of the food was delicious and tasty and the cocktails were even better. Then to top it off the dessert was so good Horchata Ice Cream and Churros so delicious The only issue we all had was the restaurant did not supply Chips and Salsa at this Mexican restaurant too our surprise ? so we had to purchase some which is not usually the case at an Mexican restaurant ??‍♀️??‍♀️ But I'm sure I will be back with my husband since it's near my house and priced reasonably well. Thank you to Kristin for outstanding customer service she should be applauded for that extra measure of care we truly appreciated it thank you.“

“Super cute cafe with some neon decor and a little shrine to Selena in the corner. Anything for Selenas! Come and gossip while you sip on your cafecito and enjoy desayunos. I had to start my breakfast out with an iced cafe de olla latte. Rad Coffee was tempting me right down the street in downtown Covina but I had to choose this over Rad! The taro-chata and vanilla vice lattes sound good and I need to try those next!Chismosa's chilaquiles are served either red or green and come with beans, salsa, cotija cheese, onion and crema in a generous portion and both tasted really sweet to my tastebuds. I couldn't quite pin down what ingredient made it taste like candy (chimi?), but this isn't a complaint. The West Cochina burrito with pork belly, bacon, eggs, potatoes and salda verde is sizeable but not too big. I'm thinking of the breakfast burrito from Alpha Omega down the street as a burrito that's way too big and needs a full three hands to chomp down. The burrito was not as sweet as the chilaquiles. You check-in to the restaurant on an iPad out front, and my wait was shorter than estimated.Parking: Public street parking, lot parking, or garage parking are ample enough and all in proximity to this cafe.“

Birrieria & Grill Los Cuates Catering Santa Fe Springs Swapmeet New Mexican Cuisine • $
Wed Thu Space C8 Fri Sat Sun, 13963 Alondra Blvd Space AA19, Santa Fe Springs - 6.1 miles

“Best $2.00 I spent all year. Where can you eat, drink, listen to music and buy pretty much anything all in one spot? Let me tell you, it's the Santa Fe Springs Swap Meet.Parking sucks unless you park way in the back in the off site lot and enter thru the back entrance. Most of the vendors are permanently stationed in their own space here. Plenty of fresh fruit, bakery items, candy, clothes, shoes, hats. They sell animals and an abundance of random things. I purchased some Croc charms at a $1.00 each, bulk candy bags at 3 for $10.00. I found a new hat and some things I didn't need. There is live music on weekends. The Doors cover band was what caught my attention. Pretty cool place to relax, get exercise and enjoy the sun.Food and drinks can be expensive.“
