“We were here for the X-JAMM Elements of Sound event during NAMM 2019. I bought our tickets because of Devin Townsend, but we were both excited to see Larry Mitchell, OHM (guitar god Chris Poland) and Larry Mitchell perform live, as well. I had no idea what to expect from the venue itself; I bought tickets two days before the show and was super disappointed by our placement. We were in the front row, but sitting at stage right. I thought for sure I'd miss a lot because I am so vertically challenged. Turns out I had no reason to despair. Our seats were practically on stage. They set up a small row of seats where the pit would live (in another, non-seated venue). We had up-close views of all performers, and the audio was expertly mixed to allow us to experience the music in all its glory. We were shown to our seats right when we checked in, and instantly had one of the friendliest waitresses at our side, asking for our drink and/or food orders. We both asked for a Guinness and told her we might order food later (it's not food from the restaurant next door if you're curious; they only serve stadium-type items). She came back empty-handed, apologizing profusely that the bar was out of Guinness. We changed our orders, and let her know it was totally fine, but she was so sweet and I could tell she felt bad. She made it a point to check on us throughout the night (we did end up sharing an order of $8 nachos to go with our $8 beers; at least she hooked us up on the cheese sauce), making sure not to bother us while a performance was actually happening. Now that I know that this place exists, I'll keep an eye on their events calendar. I liked how easy it was to get there, and how friendly the staff was. I just know to plan to eat dinner ahead of time, to save money.“

“We had the breakfast buffet on our checkout day. They have scrambled eggs, potatoes, pastries cereal, pancakes (which I guess they don't always have) and more. For the price it was very reasonable and the staff was very friendly. We will definitely be back the next time we stay here.“

“Berta Pizza in Anaheim has the best pizza in town! We got the Big Momma and it was excellent. No complaints at all.
The crust was great, the sauce tasted good, and the toppings were fresh and tasty. It was a big, satisfying pizza.

“OMG....The ABSOLUTELY Best Food around. The Bread was Hot and Fresh, the Spaghetti and Sauce is HOME MADE, All the food is Fresh, can't say enough about how Delicious EVERYTHING was. “I’m a first time customer. A friend of mine told me to check this place out. The young lady that greeted me tonight was great. She informed me that they didn’t have a thin crust pizza, but she would gladly create one for me. After placing my order, I told her I’d wait in my car. She said to come back in 10-15 minutes. 10 minutes later, she walked out to the parking lot and found my car! I drove the pizza back to my hotel room in La Palma and enjoy every slice. Great pizza, amazing service! I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in town!“

“Felt like pizza and decided to order from this place in Anaheim. The pizza arrived hot and was very tasty. The crust was a nice thickness without being too doughy or too thin and it had a slight crispy crust. There was plenty of cheese and their sauce was tomatoey…. which gave the pizza a soft pleasant taste.“

“Very clean store with a surprisingly large "half" sandwich combo. A $10 price is hard to beat nowadays and it includes a "half" sandwich, a side (we had a cookie) and a medium drink. Very good chicken salad!“

“It's just a walk up and carry out or delivery place. This place is a little hole in the wall gem. The owner is very welcoming and accommodating. Their pizza 🍕 is always made with a good amount of cheese and toppings. I will never order Domino's, pizza hut, or anything like that ever again.

Parking: Very small lot on the corner but worth it to go here.

“Finding something to eat in Downtown Disney was a bit of a challenge with lots of options. My friend and his daughter suggested this pizza place, and we decided to give it a try.

The restaurant feels like it’s set up for takeout, but they also have tables outside where you can enjoy your meal. The wait isn’t too long, though it might depend on how busy they are. The food is a good value, especially if you get the combo deal. I got a pizza, drink, and salad for $20, and got a refill on my drink.

They have lots of pizza varieties. The menu lists meat toppings, but they also have cheese pizza. The pizza was good, but I was a little disappointed with the Margherita Pizza I got. It had a sauce and not much basil. It seems like all their pizzas come with sauce, unlike the Margherita Pizza I’m used too that uses tomatoes. I did appreciate that the pizza was cooked in a brick oven, giving the crust a nice crunch.

If you’re looking for a lunch or dinner before Disneyland and you have a few picky eaters, this is a great place for everyone to find something they like.“
