“Looked up local Google reviews to find the best meatball sandwich around. LED me to Stefano‘s where I had never been before.
Nestled into a little strip mall, walked in late afternoon at a random hour, I was the only customer there. Very clean and inviting with a very interesting menu, primarily Paninis, which they specialize in, but I had my stomach set on a hot meatball sandwich.
As I was starting to order, one of the young employees standing behind the young lady I was speaking to was having a rather loud but very positive, laughing conversation with one of her coworkers. Suddenly, the gentleman whom I presume was the owner/manager, snapped at the young employee, chastising her VERY loudly from about 10 feet away, criticizing her for having a personal conversation while there was a customer in the store.
Honestly, the very rude and abrupt manner in which he spoke to his team member was far more offensive than her having had a personal conversation while I was speaking to her other team member. that gentleman needs to lead by example, and show respect if you want his team members to do the same. He could’ve easily spoken to her privately, or at least more quietly, instead he chose to yell at her out loud across the store while I was standing right there. not my business to tell others how to run their business, but he should be aware that his actions were far more offensive than hers. I quietly told her later I was sorry for the way she was spoken to and that she didn’t deserve that. She was just a youthful employee who had made a mistake. The way in which the gentleman spoke to her was uncomfortable for everybody, including me.
So the food… Overall, flavor was very good and everything was very fresh. However my “hot” meatball sandwich was very much not hot. The meatballs were warm, along with the sauce, but it was served to me on a cold roll with cheese that had not melted across the top fully. I asked the young man behind the counter if he could heat it up for me in the oven further since hot meatball sandwiches supposed to be… Well, hot. even though it took about 5 to 7 minutes to heat it up, when it was served back to me it was still just barely a bit warmer. Not sure what was going on but it was hotter just not piping hot like it should’ve been.
It was decent, but it tasted much better if it was served piping hot. Honestly, I was a bit uncomfortable being there, I was a bit concerned if I asked to have it heated again the young man would get in trouble. It was clear that he was a newer. So I ate it and just finished and left.
Since I was the only customer there at the time, and this incident is rather identifiable, I honestly probably won’t go back even though the food was pretty decent had potential for the Paninis I would’ve liked to have tried some other time. I’d rather go to a business that has good food AND treats its team members with respect, and at a minimum, leaving by positive example.
Everybody’s new at a job at some point, and food doesn’t always come out perfectly. In this case, it’s the manager/owner that will keep me from going back.“

“We’ve been going to Wise Guys since we moved to Yorba Linda in 2016, and it’s one of our favorite restaurants. The food is amazing and the people are the BEST. My husband’s favorite are the pizza rolls, mac and cheese and pizzas.“

“Anaheim White House is the HOUSE you must visit. It will become your house, home, and family. Great food, awesome ambience, intimate place to have quality time with people you treasure. From exotic dishes to familiar Italians, everything is a great adventure. Anaheim White House was the first outdoor dining restaurant we found during COVID and we have made this our go to place. Lucas is the best attentive server and our special request each time. Wasn’t sure if we should share this gem with everyone ? because it’d be harder for us to book at the restaurant.
Parking: Valet attendants are super friendly.“

“Three stars on the food only because of an accidental cross-contamination.
The food was served beautifully. The drink I ordered was a display of artistry from the bar. The plated presentations were mini masterpieces to behold. The vegetables were cooked to perfection. The salmon was juicy and tasty.
However, something in the red sauce caused my lips to burn and turned my stomach. By 2 am, the vegetables I had eaten had raced through my gut and were gone. That is a sign of a bad allergen and anaphylaxis missed by minutes. I keep antihistamines and epinephrine on me for just such an emergency.
I don't blame the chef or kitchen staff for it because it is my risk to even come to a place that serves dishes with shrimp, crab, clams, scallops, mussels and other things that should or do have a shell. Even with perfect culinary skills, cross contamination can happen and it's not the kitchen's fault, nor the server's.
The staff did their best to try to rectify things, but my stomach was too far gone with that single burning lips event. Thankfully, no hives have appeared. The staff tried, really they did, to fix things, but there was nothing they could do to fix it. Even the tiramisu peace offering didn't work. I said no to desert and I meant it. I would say it was an insult, but I know they were doing their best to make my dining experience a good one.
The staff were smiles the entire evening. The manager showed appropriate levels of concern, and I appreciate that.
Would I return to Bruno's? Maybe. Not any time soon.“

“I have been eating at Tutto Fresco for years but only have used the drive through. I met a homeless Vietnam vet at a gas station near by and offered him a meal, his name is Mikey if you ever see him nearby, please be nice to him, he doesn't drink or do drugs, he lost his mother and sister has has no where to go, he only gets about 900 a month to live on, help him out if you are able. As for Tutto Fresco, I enjoyed the food, I have for many years, friendly staff, clean restrooms, nice interior decor. I may start getting out of my Jeep and eating inside. Stop by, have a meal, you will be glad you did.“

“Prices have gone up so it's not as affordable as before, but excellent food for a $18-22ish per meal. Can't go wrong with their lasagna, chicken marsala, or manicotti with alfredo. Any entree can be turned into a "complete dinner" with minestrone soup or dinner salad, garlic bread, a small glass of wine, and scoop of ice cream for a $3-4 upcharge. All tables get a plate of carrots and peppercinis with ranch dressing to whet your appetite.“

“I had the pleasure of dining at this wonderful Italian restaurant last night, and I can’t say enough good things about the experience. From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, setting the stage for an unforgettable meal. Our server, Bianca, was attentive, knowledgeable, and made us feel like family. She recommended some delightful wine pairings that perfectly complemented each dish.
We started with the rosemary white bean soup, which was to die for—rich, creamy, and bursting with herbaceous flavors. The bruschetta and olive tapenade followed, both fresh and perfectly seasoned, making for an excellent progression of flavors. The highlight, though, was the restaurant’s signature dish, the Pescatera. It was absolutely phenomenal, featuring a delicate balance of seafood flavors that were expertly seasoned and cooked to perfection.
Every aspect of our meal was thoughtfully prepared, and the service from Bianca truly elevated the experience. If you’re looking for an authentic Italian meal with impeccable service, this is the place to go. Highly recommended! Five stars!“

“Decent restaurant near either park entrance. The wait for dinner on a rainy Saturday evening wasn’t that bad. The price of food was to be expected. But the service was incredible. Brandon was one of the best waiters I’ve ever encountered. Top notch. The food was good. Chicken parmigiana and pizza was really good. Definitely would eat there again.“

“I've been there 3 times and plan to keep going. I ask the bartender to make a Speedbump, a delicious cocktail that was supposedly created by the Cat and the Custard Cup's former bartender, Smitty, but each time, the bartender says they don't have all the ingredients. Well, get them! How hard is that? I can't be the only person who asks for it.
The hostess gave out an odd sigh when we told her we didn't have reservations. It was strange.
The food is pretty good.
I like that they have many nights of live music.
I am going to keep going and my hope is that they keep improving things, so I can change my rating to a 5!“

“What else can I say about this place, other than it is a little local itialian food joint with very good food prepared to order with the freshest ingredients, you'll realize this with your first bite. We tried a pepperoni and black olives pizza and got an order of the chicken wings, great pizza good char on the crust, good topping amount, maybe a little less cheese next time, the wings were very good (and I know good wings when I eat them) these were very big, plump and jucy not over cooked, dried out, skinny wings. Will for sure order them again, this is a great place for family or solo dinners, large serving sizes and fair prices, a good value for your hard-earned money and friendly to the budget dollars. ?Tell the owner that Smokey Fred sent you ?“

“The food was good, the waiter and staff were very friendly. It was busy unfortunately a side effect of good food. We were surprised that trivia is no longer free so if you choose to play that keep in mind you will need to pay for it. That is my only complaint. I would lower their score as a result however they did waive the cost for us. I really hope that olive garden makes it free again.“

“Olive Garden's current endless pasta special asks an intriguing utilitarian question of its customers: how much stomach pain are you willing to endure so that you can tell yourself that the restaurant lost money?
I do actually feel that Olive Garden's Alfredo sauce is the closest to good, homemade Alfredo out of the classic Italian restaurant chains, and their soups + salads are always good staples. I do find them a little pricey unless you do the endless lunch special (but yk, Italian food).
Service has consistently been great and telling the waiter when to stop putting cheese on my food is the highlight of my night. I ❤️ Olive garden.“

“We were here for the X-JAMM Elements of Sound event during NAMM 2019. I bought our tickets because of Devin Townsend, but we were both excited to see Larry Mitchell, OHM (guitar god Chris Poland) and Larry Mitchell perform live, as well. I had no idea what to expect from the venue itself; I bought tickets two days before the show and was super disappointed by our placement. We were in the front row, but sitting at stage right. I thought for sure I'd miss a lot because I am so vertically challenged. Turns out I had no reason to despair. Our seats were practically on stage. They set up a small row of seats where the pit would live (in another, non-seated venue). We had up-close views of all performers, and the audio was expertly mixed to allow us to experience the music in all its glory. We were shown to our seats right when we checked in, and instantly had one of the friendliest waitresses at our side, asking for our drink and/or food orders. We both asked for a Guinness and told her we might order food later (it's not food from the restaurant next door if you're curious; they only serve stadium-type items). She came back empty-handed, apologizing profusely that the bar was out of Guinness. We changed our orders, and let her know it was totally fine, but she was so sweet and I could tell she felt bad. She made it a point to check on us throughout the night (we did end up sharing an order of $8 nachos to go with our $8 beers; at least she hooked us up on the cheese sauce), making sure not to bother us while a performance was actually happening. Now that I know that this place exists, I'll keep an eye on their events calendar. I liked how easy it was to get there, and how friendly the staff was. I just know to plan to eat dinner ahead of time, to save money.“

“I had an amazing visit to Buca di Beppo in Garden Grove, such a great place right in Orange County. This is my new favorite place to go for authentic Italian Cuisine. Sammii was kind, so helpful going way above and beyond to make sure my time there was incredible. Adrianna also took some really great pics that our family loves. “Fabulous hole in the wall! Seating area is small and dinner rush fills up really quick so best to call ahead to make sure table availability. The bruschetta is abundant with flavor and comes with a lot to share, definitely my favorite appetizer. I recommend trying your pasta with their vodka sauce, it tastes unlike any other vodka sauce I’ve had before and adds a nice garlicky kick to your entree. If you’re feeling a pizza, I like the margherita and there’s a bunch of basil so don’t worry about there only being one leaf on each slice. The gelato is sweet and dense and a nice way to cool off the night. Pistachio and almond I recommend. Staff is friendly and the manager loves to come around to talk with customers. Wish this place had more seating because everyone deserves to try this place.“
