“Visited our local farmers market and stopped at this booth. I was impressed to find that they had traveled so far to participate. I'm in Ventura County and they are located in Orange County, quite a drive away in LA traffic. The person at the booth was knowledgeable, patient and friendly, answering all my questions and helping me with my selections. When I got home and tried the food I was thrilled with my choices. The food was delicious and thoughtfully prepared. The portions were generous, I served an entire plate and barely made a dent. “The service and food are phenomenal! The staff was super helpful and informative when describing sauces and sides. I got the turmeric chicken schwarma and the cilantro pesto chicken schwarma and the flavors just melted in my mouth. I also had the tumeric lemonade and it was the perfect amount of tartness. “Food and customer service are next level at Hummus Way. Our first visit, we arrived at 7:02 not realizing they closed at 7. The manager was kind enough to serve us take out with the food he hadn't packed up yet and was super friendly the entire time. Even at the end of the day, the food was SO fresh and flavorful. You can't beat the quality and quantity for the price. There are a few things, like the garlic wedges, that may seem overpriced but once you get them you'll realize they're worth it. My very selective kid happily demolishes an entire adult sized bowl of food, from raw spinach to garlic sauce to perfectly marinated chicken. We will continue coming back regularly. The manager has been wonderful each time we've been in. The restaurant is super clean. I got the doner kebab rice plate with chicken/beef and garlic sauce and "warm butter tomato sauce with turkish name". The meat was tender but not that flavorful, probably to better pair with the many sauce options. Salad was freshly mixed and crispy except for the parts touching the rice. It'd be nice if they could separate it somehow to avoid warm, soggy lettuce in some places. Portion sizes and quality are about fair for the price, but the yelp check in hummus is huge which makes it a great value imo. Interior and bathroom are clean and well maintained. Overall, the flavor was good though not great, but the service and value bring it up a star.“

“Nice smaller dine in or to go spot for seafood / Mediterranean combo. There's indoor and small outdoor section in front of the restaurant. Order at the counter and food is dropped off at table. Food : shrimp ceviche was really good. Comes with a lot on a tostada, very flavorful. Chicken kebab plate, chicken nice and tender. We also had the salmon plate which was also very good. Nice mix of options if your aren't sure what you want to eat. Really enjoyed the quality of the food and def will be back to try out more options“

Mostly she like Disney princesses, Star wars, and if you get there early enough you'll have the best seat and if you buy something special or it's like there are reserve seats for you if you buy them. “In my time in the Greater LA area, I've stuck with trying mostly Asian eateries as those are typically the spots I feel the most comfortable with. But with the diverse food offerings in the Rowland Heights area in particular, I felt inclined to try something new. With that said, a friend recommended me to try Halal Guys after having previous experiences enjoying halal meats.For this experience, I ordered Halal Guys off of Uber Eats on a Monday night to avoid the traffic on the 60 and chose to try their Beef and Chicken Combo Platter which was around 14 dollars before tax. And from that point, I waited for about 30-40 minutes for my food to arrive at my place. Upon arrival, the food was bagged in layers which kept the food warm which was a nice touch.Opening the bag, each item was given in a foil pan with a plastic lid which helped keep the food inside warm without making the food soggy. And with that, it made receiving the food that much more impressionable. Opening the lid, I was quite surprised by the amount of portion given inside. About 70% of the bowl was filled with large quantities of beef and chicken. Because of this, the dish was meat dominated and ended up being quite filling. The tomatoes, lettuce, and four pieces of pita bread took up the remaining area and prevented the dish from tasting too meaty. For last, the rice that layered the bottom was given in good portion too: not too starchy, and not too scarce. In all, the large quantity given was well worth the expenditure at 14 dollars in the Rowland Heights area. There was so much given, in fact, that the single combo lasted two meals! Price to portion ratio? Very good!The taste of the food was also very impressive! Starting off, the turmeric and cumin-seasoned rice was quite light in texture and was seasoned generously. This allowed the flavor profile of the rice to give the rest of the items in the dish a baseline to work off of. For next, the lettuce and tomatoes tasted fresh, just like you would imagine them to taste: watery, crunchy, and a tad sweet. As for the pita, the texture was soft yet dry, which helped to absorb the moisture from the added white sauce and hot sauce. Furthermore, the bread interior had a hint of what I identified as olive oil which helped the bread taste a bit doughy and subtly salty. As for the meats, the chicken was my favorite of the two as the pieces inside were lightly seasoned with black pepper which tasted heavenly with the flavor of the rice. The chicken's texture was very soft despite the fact it was fully cooked, making each piece melt in the mouth. Although the beef was good as well, it was more on the dry side and tasted much heavier. This could be in part because the meat was sliced thinner, causing the meat to dry out faster and for seasoning to dominate over the amount of area well on each piece.The dish was fine by itself. But including the packaged white sauce, I found the overall taste even more memorable. Tasting like a lighter ranch, each component of the dish was able to attain a greater cohesive texture and creamy taste. Achieving a balance like this is very difficult when you add sauce to a dish, leaving me to crave more of their famous large packets of white. On the other hand, I found the hot sauce to be too spicy to the point that it dominated over any texture or flavor of the food. On a scale of 1-10, I'd say the spice level was close to a 6. Definitely eat some pita to counter the spice should your spice tolerance be low.For this experience with Halal Guys, I would argue Halal Guys deserves a 5 star rating hands down. The portion size was very large for the price compared to most other eateries of this kind and restaurants in this area in general. For the price, the quality was definitely there, having better meat quality than many places that charge almost double the price. Although I found the beef was over-seasoned and on the dry side, it's not to say it was bad by any means. For the next time I return though, I would opt for Chicken Platter instead. “This was my very first time experiencing Lebanese Cusine and it did NOT disappoint. Everything thing I ate from the Kibbie Balls to the Tauboli and Lamb was packed with lots of GREAT flavor. There were no salt and pepper shakers on the table because they weren't needed. The atmosphere was warm and inviting and felt like family. The owner came to our table and was just so amazingly kind and humble. The food at Zena is made with a whole lot of LOVE so do Yourself a favor and try it.“

“This was some of the best Middle Eastern food I've had, and I've eaten at a lot Mediterranean restaurants. The lamb skewer was perfectly cooked and very tasty, the babaganoush was amazing and their rice was incredible. My wife had the chicken shawarma and hummus, again, both were very good. Our server Mike was genuinely friendly and attentive and served free baklava because it was my birthday. Great place, nice atmosphere and really good value of quality and portion size compared to price. I highly recommend D'vine.
