With that being said, the food is really good here. The Kofte and hummus were my favorite. Everything I tried tasted really fresh and savory. The Kofte was absolutely delicious. Would come back just for the Kofte.“

“Food is great but guy at the register named Mario was very rude. After ordering my food I glanced at my receipt and it something totally different. So I went and asked. He said that’s what you ordered. I told him no. I know exactly what I ordered and this ain’t it. His reply was I’ll change it this time. So I told him, feel free to look at your cameras. “Great ambiance and amazing food. I had a lot of food… falafel, spicy hummus, kafta kabob, tzatziki loaded with veggies, cheese balls, and baklava. All so delicious and fresh. I even loved the fresh pita and dipping sauce that was complimentary. From the manager and many servers, everyone was pleasant and friendly throughout my time there. “Probably the best hidden spot for Mediterranean style food in Santa Fe Springs and close to La Mirada. This place has a very good menu and you won’t be disappointed. Staff are very friendly and service is quick. It’s kinda of in a difficult location due to construction close by. The place is tiny inside but has about 5 tables. Good eats for sure, don’t forget the green sauce it’s spicy and that’s what I love. It goes with all the food great!

“This amazing Syrian owned takeout is a must must try! Vegan Stops serves totally delicious Middle eastern food that is totally vegan to take home and reheat. These are fully prepared meals/entrees at a fair price. There is NO DINING IN at this restaurant but don’t let it stop you. They even let us taste a few things before we ordered since it was our first time and we didn’t know what a few of the dishes were. “Tried out your Cerritos location, I lived in LA almost 3years and food especially the kebab wrap was the best by far and I have tried different kebab place’s before in LA. One of the best Kebab place in America, the lamb was moist and very tasty with great flavors, the combination of the hummus, salad, fries combined with the lamb was delicious, the fresh flat bread was soft and crispy on the outside. Add the garlic yogurt sauce wow your tastebuds explodes in your mouth, the food was very lite and not heavy like most kebab place so they got the right balance by using the flat bread and not pita bread that most place use on the wrap Well done this place remind me of a place back home in New Zealand. I give The Kebab shop in Cerritos 10/10 Highly Recommend this place to my friends and family and different locations in America. Will go again and try something different on the menu.“

“We came here after a long day of moving homes. We got the family dinner for about $45. It come with rice, 2 salads, and 3 meat kabobs. We added 2 skewers of the Koobideh ($7 each) and a side of pita bread and humus (as an appetizer). The food was plated amazingly. The Cesar salad had flavorful strips of parmesean. The dinner plate had amazing presentation! We added a side of 3 grilled serrano peppers for some heat! All in all, we all ate and had 2 plates of leftovers! Our family conaaisted of 3 adults and 3 kids. I was too hungry to take a before pic. Lol.“

“I’m a sucker for Mediterranean food. It has always been absolutely some of my favorite food and dishes to eat. So when I hear about a place that sells it and does well then I feel so inclined to come and try it and see how good it is.

The food here at Golden Sun is no exception. It is so very good albeit a little pricey. I ordered a beef and lamb kebab plate which comes with rice, salad and a grilled tomato and jalapeño as well as a pita bread. I usually order chicken shawarma at places like this but I went with the beef and lamb combo because I wanted to try something new.

It was actually very good. Very tender and full of flavor. I left this place feeling really satisfied.

I enjoyed the hospitality too. The woman who greeted me when I entered was very polite and she made my meal with a smile on her face. I really appreciated it. It felt like a meal made with love and diligence.

Also, as I was eating in here I noticed this place used to be a subway and I’m glad it became a Mediterranean place. I feel like there are already enough Subways lol.

The interior is also very nice. The staff are mostly in the back, though. Overall, we had a very nice and satisfactory experience.“
