“Great ambiance and amazing food. I had a lot of food… falafel, spicy hummus, kafta kabob, tzatziki loaded with veggies, cheese balls, and baklava. All so delicious and fresh. I even loved the fresh pita and dipping sauce that was complimentary. From the manager and many servers, everyone was pleasant and friendly throughout my time there. I went during happy hour so the specials were great during that time. I’m definitely returning to this Mediterranean restaurant for sure. I loved it.“

“I eat breakfast once a week on average. The staff is great, always pleasant, great customer service. The food is good, I always order the one 12 breakfast. Can sub potatoes for a salad if wanted. Only one complaint having to do with restaurant next door. While trying to enjoy my breakfast outdoors, next door is being mopped with Fabuloso cleaner. Totally ruined my breakfast. On another occasion I sat close to that area and a plastic dumpster with trash was being wheeled by me. Not the greatest atmosphere unfortunately.“

“I am now permanently coming to this location, food was much better than the bell location. The kabobs combo was genuinely the best plate I have had in LA. High five to the amazing cook here!! “My wife and I realized that we had not thought to stop here in quite a while and so we stopped for lunch today and we were immediately reminded why we like the food here so much. I like the chicken kabob wrap and my wife typically gets the chicken bowl. The staff is friendly and helpful and the food is consistently good. We will definitely have to keep the Hummus Factory on our regular list of places to visit for lunch and dinner. A photo of the chicken bowl shows just how appetizing it looks.“

The gyro plate is out of this world! Everything is so fresh and their tzatziki is scrumptious! I always eat an entire order of grape leaves myself! YUM! They have wonderful specials and buy 2 deals, too. :)“

The reasons I put 4 stars and not 5 are the fact that our meat came out awhile after the rest of our food and was a bit dry- I think they might have been short staffed in the kitchen that day.
Loved the falafel, beets and the lebneh.

Their chicken, beef, (shrimp at some locations), salads, hummus, and warm pita slices provide a great source of protein, with flavorful Mediterranean seasoning. Their staff is always friendly and helpful - the location I take my elderly mother to always remembers to bring me an extra plate so we can share a platter (there’s plenty) without me asking. “This terrific restaurant has been my go-to choice for Mediterranean food in the Whittier-La Mirada area for years. Their plates are pretty to look at and filling. Today my wife and I split a kofta plate and a lamb pita sandwich. The kofta in a particular was wonderfully spiced and tender. Though we did not order it today, they have the best falafel. They also do a great job with large catering orders. We've used them for parties in the past, and our guests always came away happy“

“Hands down some of the best Mediterranean food I’ve ever had! I ordered the beef lulu and filet mignon plate. The filet mignon was more tender than I’ve had at $100 streakhouses and the beef lulu was seasoned to perfection. Everything from the tomato and cucumber salad to the hummus was extremely fresh!

On top of that, the lady who works the counter is extremely friendly and made sure I felt at home even though I showed up near closing time.

“The Kebab Shop is conveniently located in a shipping area near Trader Joe's with ample parking. Ordering at the counter was a snap and the staff was very professional and friendly helping us with our first visit. We decided to try one of their wraps with lamb and steak. After ordering, the staff invited to try some of their choices of yogurt topping. It was a short wait at our table and then our name was called.

The wrap was good sized and filled with lots of meat. I added dill yogurt topping and took a bite; mm mm, so good! The combination of the topping, lamb and fresh veggies were fantastic.

“Fantastic! I randomly found this place while craving Lebanese food. While it’s not exactly that, I was intrigued by their “where Mexican meets Mediterranean” concept and stopped in. They told me their Mediterranean side is inspired by Lebanese and Syrian cuisine, and I was sold.

I got the chicken shawarma plate. The chicken was cooked perfectly, the rice was great, and I went with the baba ghanoush after they recommended it. It was so good. If you’ve never loved baba ghanoush because the eggplant is overpowering, their version is perfect for you since all the flavors are balanced nicely. The Mexican influence complements it beautifully.

The young woman who took my order told me her mother is the chef, and she made my meal. I’m officially one of her biggest fans and can’t wait to come back and try more. Delicious!

Please support this small, actuallyyy family-owned business. I’d be genuinely devastated if they ever closed. It may not have been the traditional Lebanese meal I originally came for, but bringing Mexican flavors into the mix is a brilliant idea and I’m for it. Yum!“

“The family and I decided to stop by and grab Mediterranean food and my husband brought me by his spot he has been going to for 1 yeah or+ years. Upon entering you get greeted by the sweetest owner and staff. The menu is quite extensive and has variety of things from kabob plates to wraps; then burgers and vegetarian options. I ended up getting the lamb and beef kabob plate with hummus and rice. I also got a side of falafel and some fries to share with the family. The hubby got the beef kabob plate and we shared with the girls. Portions were quite filling and more then enough for our family , hummus was so good. Everything is fresh and house made to the sauces that come with it. The garlic being some of my favorite. This family owned place serves really good food and made sure the family was fed and happy. “Tried out your Cerritos location, I lived in LA almost 3years and food especially the kebab wrap was the best by far and I have tried different kebab place’s before in LA. One of the best Kebab place in America, the lamb was moist and very tasty with great flavors, the combination of the hummus, salad, fries combined with the lamb was delicious, the fresh flat bread was soft and crispy on the outside. Add the garlic yogurt sauce wow your tastebuds explodes in your mouth, the food was very lite and not heavy like most kebab place so they got the right balance by using the flat bread and not pita bread that most place use on the wrap Well done this place remind me of a place back home in New Zealand. I give The Kebab shop in Cerritos 10/10 Highly Recommend this place to my friends and family and different locations in America. Will go again and try something different on the menu.“
