“The best Armenian food in Montebello. We get food from here all the time. Their fattoush salad and chicken shawarma is so bomb (get a side of sumac and pour it on the salad and squeeze lemon on top). They're shish kebab is absolutely delicious and their hummus, cucumber and yogurt, and tabbouleh are so flavorful! ?Vegetarian options: They have falafel and fish as vegetarian options. Also most of their appetizers are vegetarian“
“For the most part, they do a good job. The food has been good 90% of the time. I had one bad experience when I got under cooked chicken kabob. I was not about to go complain for a $20 plate, but, I did tell them next time I ordered. Just sometimes some of the younger boy & girl can be a bit sloppy & don't answer phones. I live a few blocks from here so I order often.“

“Not sure how M Local Med Grill is rated so poorly on Yelp, maybe from previous ownership. Anyway, if you like Mediterranean grub, this is your place. My family finds M Local to be the best in the area. Been catering here for years for my office staff and the entire crew is always happy when they hear lunch is coming from this spot. Edmond, the owner is friendly and always super helpful. Catered for my daughter's sweet 16 last year and the girls couldn't stop raving about the spread. Everything is awesome, but my favorites are the lule and chicken skewers. Gotta try this spot if you haven't yet.“

But I think the experience of sitting with your friends and chatting with Bee and Wali, the owners, is great. They have a way of making you feel seen and special. THE FOOD: I'm new to the vegetarian lifestyle, and started reluctantly under doctor's orders. Mazal has been a revelation! Tal and his staff prepare vegetarian dishes that taste amazing because they were always intended to be vegetarian! Fresh fennel salad, hearty beats with cumin, silky humus and baba ganoush. And mushrooms so perfectly grilled that they taste - dare I say - MEATY, like a mushroom should! So yes, the food is supurb. But that's not the reason we come back. Nor is it the reason we decided to celebrate our recent engagement with them. Mazal feels like a home. “What am amazing space. The picture here does not do it justice. The menu is creative and everything was delicious. The drinks are primary Gin and Whiskey based and were strong. The banquet hall itself has been designed very well for a mid-sized event. I looked at many places to host my bridal shower but I could not find any that accommodated what I was looking for until I found La Boheme. The owner, Arthur, is an incredibly nice man and very helpful. He provided feedback and worked with me every step of the way to make sure everything turned out exactly as I had envisioned. Most importantly, the service and food was ABSOLUTELY amazing. The staff at La Boheme is extremely attentive to all the guests and very responsive to all their requests. “Usually when restaurants serve several types of cuisines, the food is usually mediocre. Z's is the exception. I have been coming here for years, before they moved to this newer location, and their food is always good. My favorite is the beef kabob plate, much better than any Mediteranean restaurants in the area, hands down. I used to go to others, but they either changed the type of meat or ingredients to lower quality. Z's quality is always been the bestt, juicy and flavorful. Please never change . Also, their staff is consistently friendly; always smiling and doing extra.“
