-Sushi:
We ordered yellowtail, albacore, and salmon sushi and they were unbelievably fresh, with each bite melting like butter. The quality of the fish was outstanding, and my boyfriend especially loved their salmon.

-Calamari Tempura:
It was crispy, and cooked to perfection. It came with a refreshing salad, and the house-made dressing added a burst of flavor that tied it all together.

- Baked Lobster Roll:One of my favorites! It was perfectly balanced and full of rich, satisfying flavors.
- Aloha Roll:A must try!, with just the right amount of spiciness, making each bite extra enjoyable.
- Salmon Roll:This roll was also incredibly fresh, with every bite bursting with flavor. I couldn’t recall the exact name because I was too busy savoring every mouthful!
- Monster Roll:It was packed with bold flavors and had the perfect harmony—absolutely delicious.

- Our server was kind and friendly, making the experience even better. I don’t understand some of the negative reviews about their service—we had a great time and felt well taken care of.”

“OMG, I just visited this place La Garrafa MX? nieces de garrafa reminded me so much of my mother's home town Cocula Jalisco Mx. I tried several flavors, coffee, passion fruit, dragon fruit, nuez, mama, and last but not least pistachio. wow the flavors were amazing I am definitely going back and tried all the other flavors of nieve de garrafa.”

“My family and I love your food. There are only two things I don’t like. The first is that the rice is very sticky, to the point that it’s difficult to separate when eating. The second is that they put too much cabbage, which honestly doesn’t have much flavor. My recommendation is to replace it with something else.
Other than that, the food is very tasty. This is just a suggestion, made with all due respect.”

“I met up with a colleague here for a business meeting and the food was delicious. I ordered a vegetarian burrito and it was a unique, surprising and delicious take on a vegetarian burrito. It had beans, rice, potatoes and squash. My buddy ordered the chilaquiles and found them to be quite delicious.
I highly recommend this place. They do get a lunch rush; so I'd suggest planning your visit around that.”

“Buffets are generally not my go to place, but I was impressed. Good variety of salad items, main dishes desserts and everything was flavorful. Arrived at 5pm on Saturday but wait time was less than 10 minutes for our group of 10 even though the place was packed. Restroom was reasonably clean considering the amount of people. “I have driven past this place for years skeptical of the seafood at a small stand, but boy was I proven wrong! So glad the location I was going to was closed because the nearest seafood was Mariscos el Zurdo. I saw they had 7 mares, so we said let's give it a try. Luckily we found parking in the small lot they share & found a table to eat because it sure got full & people waiting on a table.
I am kicking myself for having missed out on the delicious fish taco, shrimp hard shell taco, & agua chile tostada, all these years, but I will sure make up for it. The soup wasn't the best 7 mares i've had, but it was a big hearty bowl with crab legs that my soothed my mom's craving.
I am looking forward to head that way & stop to try other items along with that aguachile tostada 😋”

I buy a dozen doughnuts for my office and they all can't get enough. The owners are always kind and friendly. Been coming here for years and I always recommend it. This morning was packed but with their fast friendly service the line went down quickly and with a smile. The owners always wish you luck if you buy a lotto ticket. Mains: Cashew Chicken and Broccoli Beef (honestly I told my husband that the Broccoli beef could be swapped for whatever he wants because he likes fried food so this will be swapped from time to time)
Side: Garlic Green Beans (these are the absolute most DELICIOUS green beans I have ever eaten)

“Located at the edge of the plaza. Very cozy atmosphere. Love the shelf aesthetic in the back and the aquarium up front. I had the modern Thai fried rice and the supreme pad Thai. Both were delicious and packed with flavor. I've also had the 3-flavor fish in the past and would highly recommend that as well! Staff were great and attentive as well.”

“Don Katsu is a fantastic spot if you're looking for something different! I tried their crispy chicken platter with white rice and macaroni salad, and it was delicious. The chicken was perfectly crispy, and the macaroni salad was a great side, especially with the interesting addition of coleslaw. If you're looking for a tasty and unique chicken experience, I definitely recommend giving Don Katsu a try. 🔥”

“This place has been here for years. Had the breakfast burrito with chorizo and potato. Gives you home style burrito vibes. Not too big, but filling for the size. Tried out both green and red salsas. Both were good, but I'd choose the red over green in my opinion. They have a small outdoor sit down area, but might a bit noisy for some people as it is right off the main business street.”

was chopped beef with potatoes and nopales. Of course, rice and beans. It was a little disappointing that there were no peas and carrots in the rice. It's still good. Seating a little tight. It's bolted down fast food style chairs with attached table. Buen provecho everyone.”

“I first visited this place five years ago, and it was amazing—one of my favorite taco spots in L.A. I’d been wanting to try it again, and recently, while visiting SoCal, I had the chance to stop by. While it’s still pretty good, it doesn’t quite feel like it used to. The tacos are smaller now, as is the trend with most places in L.A. I’m not sure what happened, but I’m guessing one of the main tortilla distributors started making them smaller, promoting it as a selling point so that trucks don’t have to use as much meat and ingredients. What surprised me here, though, is that the tortillas are handmade and yet they started making them smaller. I still enjoy them—they really are the closest thing to a Tijuana-style taco. The flavor is excellent, and the guacamole is fantastic! All in all, it is still worth it to make the drive because where else can you get handmade tortillas and thick, gloppy guac? Here!”

“My wife and I had a great time visiting Tobara booth when they were set up at the Northridge Farmers market. She wanted to get some dessert for her mom so we looked at what they had. They have different cheesecake, Mexican desserts and so many more.

The prices are reasonable so my wife got the Mexican cheesecake and Estilo Casero for her mom. It is as a man and his son working the booth, they were really nice to use.”

I've never in my 15 years coming to this place had much issues at all. There's parking in the back don't take the main street even if the Google maps or Apple maps tells you to. There's literally never parking on the main Street. This is my favorite #1 restaurant. Also shout out to the owner for bringing back the the decor of the mobster posters and the old newspapers, I was really sad a couple years ago when the decor was taken away during the rebranding but I'm happy to see that Alondras/Awesom Wings are coming back to their roots. 10/10.”

“This place was popping. So let’s see if they’re pretty good eh or ew. I got their cannoli Amy’s delight cake slice, and of course snoopy sugar cookie. This was my first time having a cannoli and it had a soft shell and was filled with plenty of thick a bit citrusy cream and crunchy chocolate chips. Eh. The cake slice was MASSIVE and had layers of fluffy, delicate, not dry white and chocolate cake, a thin layer of silky custard, plenty of not too sweet whipped creamy icing, fresh strawberries and bananas that added a nice fruity pop and was surrounded by some roasty toasty crunchy almonds. The snoopy sugary cookie was SUPER CUTE, had a yummy, fun, not too sweet, crunchy icing and buttery not dry cookie. Lowkey obviously my fave thing. Overall this place is pretty good.

Plates i frequently have are shrimp rolls, soup dumplings, house fried rice, house chow mein, three delights, kung pao chicken, mongolian beef, honey walnut shrimp, egg flower soup and hot & sour soup. Sometimes i do have to ask for a waiter for a refill or more steamed rice but i'm used to it. The staff are great people omce you get to know them. They all deserve good tips especially with the affordable cost of their large portions.”

The ham, egg, and cheese breakfast croissan'wich are delicious everyone I get one for love them almost as much as me 😅😅. Thus far no complaints from me.
