“I always enjoy coming to Chef Chen, but the bean curd is definitely one of my favorites. It’s always fresh, full of flavor, and cooked just right. “I have been to a lot of places with similar food as this location. I was taking my mom out to eat and it was our first time there. The lady who was the server was very friendly when I told her my mom was looking for wonton soup and she said that they did have some. It was delicious and very fresh. I got a plate with chow mein and 2 items of choice which were good in portion size. Hands down one of the best orange chicken I have had. I also had bbq pork which was also good. The thing that blew my mind from taste was there smoked porked ribs and their squash with green beans. The ribs were amazing almost like if they specialize in BBQ. Location was clean. I will definitely be returning.“

Drove to Arry's instead and got a better burger, literally twice the size in 100x less time. That's about all I can report - good fast food burgers.“

“Came here for late breakfast on a Sunday at 12. The restaurant had a long line with no sign-in sheet. Therefore, everyone was waiting in the entryway and unintentionally hovering over the tables closest to the entryway. I’m sure this was not the most favorable experience for the customers sitting at those tables. There was a “C” rating posted but I decided to eat here anyhow. Food was good and the waitress was very accommodating.“

“We hadn't heard about the golden Skwer before we were looking for a banquet hall for my mom 60th birthday. Reached out and promptly received a call from Carla she was great with giving all the information of everything that is included with booking with them, right off the bat I loved speaking with her she was super friendly even with just speaking over the phone and very nice and friendly when we met to confirm details. everyone in her staff was very friendly. Banquet hall is beautiful in itself, food was amazing we had so many people compliment on how good the food is(mind we we hadn't tried till day of event) we booked because of Carla

“I love the Egg Rolls!! I've been looking everywhere for these egg rolls since I was a kid. There was a restaurant in Alhambra called Nams, it was my Grandma & Grandpa's favorite Chinese restaurant. My wife got the Mushroom Chicked delicious!“

“Buffets are generally not my go to place, but I was impressed. Good variety of salad items, main dishes desserts and everything was flavorful. Arrived at 5pm on Saturday but wait time was less than 10 minutes for our group of 10 even though the place was packed. Restroom was reasonably clean considering the amount of people. Overall I was not disappointed.“

“I had an hour in between appointments in Montebello, really surprised to stumble at this mom & pop Mexican restaurant. It had four 4-person tables inside and an authentic vibe for locals. I ordered a Special Plate for 2 fish soft tacos that was served with rice & bean and a small drink for $10. I didn't think much of it at first, the portion was big. It was so delicious that ate the whole thing. I loved everything about this restaurant, definitely will come back again with my family.“

“I’ve been eating at this location for many years. The food is absolutely delicious. The service is great. The booths are very comfortable. I have friends that have get-togethers at this restaurant because it’s so great in every plate is delicious. They have a big screen TV and the next room. It was great having a bowl of Menudo watching games. My favorite hair is the albondigas, huevos rancheros are good . A lot of Mexican restaurants in the neighborhood have closed down, but Baja has been going strong for many years. It’s well loved by our neighbors. I recommend this place 100%“

“Got 7 tacos, and a Gordita. Asada was ok, pollo was better, pastor was ok, cabeza and tripa were SO GOOD. Fish taco is $3.99, shrimp $4.99 and both the same size as a regular taco. I was a little concerned but after trying both, they’re worth every penny. The fish and shrimp tacos here were honestly the best, freshest fish and shrimp tacos I’ve had in a while. Plus an order of yucca frita with chicharron.“

Cooks do a great job to keep quality consistent.place is kept fairly clean clothes considering the area. The parking lot sucks, be careful where you park your car.“
