“I don't know if this is the same Two Sal's that used to be in Montebello on Beverly Blvd but if isn't it is very good pizza. Got a large pepperoni black olives half sausage for $28.99, and boy was it good. All the toppings very flavorful. An older Asian couple making the food and they are very nice. Highly recommend.“

“I’ve been coming to Taco Boy on Slauson for their taco special that comes with a soda
( it’s my sons favorite) The prices are very reasonable, especially compared to other Mexican restaurants, and the food has always been good. I haven’t tried much of the menu yet, but I also haven’t heard anyone complain about the quality.

One thing to keep in mind is the wait time. Even if you call your order in ahead of time, expect about a 20-minute wait. I’d recommend ordering ahead with that in mind if you’re in a hurry.

My only real criticism is the staffing. The young man working the front is expected to do way too much by himself. He’s taking orders, handling payments, answering the phone, and bringing hot food out to customers dining in. That’s a lot for one person, and it’s not fair to him or to the customers waiting.

This isn’t a complaint about the employee—he works hard. It’s a suggestion for management. Hiring one more person to help at the front would make a huge difference. Service would be faster, the phone could actually be answered more consistently, and the employee wouldn’t have to juggle so many responsibilities at once.

Overall, I’d still recommend Taco Boy for the good food, generous portions, and fair prices. I just hope management gives their hardworking front counter employee the support he deserves.“

“We usually get our carnitas at a carniceria closer to us but we were influenced and decided to try La mano. We got carnitas, chicharron and Cerritos with a few bags of tortillas. Carnitas were good, juicy. Chicharones were crispy and meaty. . The guac was ok. Nothing out of this world. Tortillas were amazing. Not bad to be honest but I wasn’t blown away like the influencers make it out to be. It’s carnitas. We actually like our local spot better. I feel like the carnitas could have used a bit more salt. Still, good place to check out and see for yourself. I would definitely get a pack of tortillas next time I’m in the area. Those were amazing.“

Sometimes I couldn’t understand him, but he was very patient and explained things to me. He was a 10/10! The food was also a 10/10, so delicious! “Everything was perfect. Today is a Wednesday granted so my husband and I didn’t fight a crowd. The ambiance was perfect, the food was great, our waiter Luis was outstanding. We had a great time and enjoyed the food tremendously. The review on here about no flavor…can’t imagine what they tried because our #2 boil was the bomb. And the michelado was on point. I walked in, ordered, and waited maybe 20mins. Not that bad considering I walked in. Hawaiian, and pepperoni tasted great. The only shock was how expensive two medium pizzas were. “I’ve been going to King Taco in Pico Rivera for many, many years, and I honestly cannot say enough good things about this place. In my opinion, they have the best tacos in the world. I brag about King Taco all the time and recommend it to everyone I know.
The food, the flavor, the salsa, and the consistency keep me coming back year after year.
My only frustration is this: WHY IS THERE NO KING TACO IN ORANGE COUNTY?!
Trust me, Orange County loves tacos too! If King Taco opened a location in Orange County, California, I truly believe it could become one of the busiest and most successful King Taco locations anywhere.
So if anyone from King Taco management reads this review, PLEASE consider opening a location in Orange County. I promise you, I would personally be there at least three times a week!

“This place is great. Don’t expect it to be very fast because they make your food at order. You might wait a little longer but you can taste the freshness. I always go through drive-through because I’m always busy the lady that takes my order and charges me is always super nice and has a smile on her face. The owner has also stopped by and talk to me in the drive-through. Everyone is friendly. The food is delicious. I especially love the zucchini. It is fried so fresh you could taste the real zucchini and the avocado cheeseburgers are loaded with avocado absolutely delicious. Heidy recommended places clean plenty of seating. Parking is a little bit crowded but other than that great place.“
