( it’s my sons favorite) The prices are very reasonable, especially compared to other Mexican restaurants, and the food has always been good. I haven’t tried much of the menu yet, but I also haven’t heard anyone complain about the quality.

One thing to keep in mind is the wait time. Even if you call your order in ahead of time, expect about a 20-minute wait. I’d recommend ordering ahead with that in mind if you’re in a hurry.

My only real criticism is the staffing. The young man working the front is expected to do way too much by himself. He’s taking orders, handling payments, answering the phone, and bringing hot food out to customers dining in. That’s a lot for one person, and it’s not fair to him or to the customers waiting.

This isn’t a complaint about the employee—he works hard. It’s a suggestion for management. Hiring one more person to help at the front would make a huge difference. Service would be faster, the phone could actually be answered more consistently, and the employee wouldn’t have to juggle so many responsibilities at once.

Overall, I’d still recommend Taco Boy for the good food, generous portions, and fair prices. I just hope management gives their hardworking front counter employee the support he deserves.“

“I don't know if this is the same Two Sal's that used to be in Montebello on Beverly Blvd but if isn't it is very good pizza. Got a large pepperoni black olives half sausage for $28.99, and boy was it good. All the toppings very flavorful. An older Asian couple making the food and they are very nice. Highly recommend.“

“Visited La Mano Tortilleria recently and honestly had such a great experience. The moment you walk in, the smell of fresh tortillas, carnitas, and homemade Mexican food hits you immediately and makes you hungry before you even order. The restaurant has a casual and authentic ambiance that feels very welcoming and traditional. You can tell this is the kind of place locals love because everything feels homemade and fresh.

The food was absolutely delicious. The carnitas were juicy, tender, and full of flavor with the perfect crispy edges. Their handmade tortillas make such a huge difference and taste fresh off the grill. We also tried the consommé with the tacos and it was rich, flavorful, and perfect for dipping. The chicharrón was super crispy and fresh, and the guacamole tasted homemade with fresh ingredients. One thing I really loved was the huge variety of salsas they offer. From spicy red salsa to creamy avocado salsa and molcajete style salsa, every option added so much flavor to the meal.

The portions are generous and everything tasted authentic and high quality. Even the rice and sides were flavorful and fresh. The drinks paired perfectly with the food and completed the experience.

The staff was also very friendly, patient, and helpful throughout the visit. Even though the restaurant was busy, the service was fast and organized, and everyone made us feel welcome. The atmosphere felt lively, clean, and comfortable, making it a great spot for lunch with friends or a casual family dinner.

“First time here i tried the chow main was good i tried fried rice was also very good i tried the shrimp with veggies i dont like the taste n smell of shrimp i like the veggies where not over cooked they were fresh and slightly undercook i got orange chicken was a bit too acid and too sweet but its ok just flavor i did not like egg roll was same as anywhere else service was like any other Chinese food place. i will go again and i do recommend this place“
