I lived down the street and my dad would take me and my sisters there to get ice cream but my fav was the chili fries and my mom had to have her pastrami sandwich. Since my dad passed it’s hard to eat there now ,but I have a lot of great memories there. The men that work there are very kind and I was surprised they remembered me when I visited a few years back.“

“We came 04/19/26 at around 1pm. It was my mom and I’s first time here and the staff were patient with us as we looked at the entire menu. We ordered the seafood soup, pad cew and pad Thai. The food was so good, the pad thai was so savory, and the shrimp were cooked perfectly. The soup was nice and salty with a balance of sour and aromatic flavors. The Thai iced coffee with boba was so yummy😋. My mom and I enjoyed the food and our time here.“

Compared with other Korean restaurants, the sauce crab taste is mild, and it will not be salty enough to explode in the middle of the meal and cannot continue to eat. The crab is fresh, not fishy, and the meat is firm, not squishy. The crab meat is also very full, the crab legs are full, there is no empty shell crab. The sea urchin rice is a little smaller but the sea urchin is enough. regular sea urchins are not particularly sweet, but they are fresh and worth the price. The sea urchin Rice bowl combo will be served with steamed eggs, runny eggs and two prawns in sauce. Raw marinated salmon rice is amazing to me. “Easy 5 stars. Genuinely some of the best sushi I’ve ever had. Everything was incredibly fresh, and I loved that the dishes weren’t overloaded with sauces or unnecessary toppings, the quality of the fish really spoke for itself.

The salmon was buttery and melted in your mouth, the eel was warm, rich and perfectly glazed, and even the cucumber salad was ridiculously good. And if you go, definitely try the fatty tuna, highly recommend it!

This is one of those places that makes it hard to enjoy average sushi afterward. 😂 Already looking forward to going back.“

“I just tried Bridgetown Roti for the first time. I can immediately say Mom's Curry Chicken Roti did not disappoint. It was packed with flavor and incredibly juicy inside, with a nicely grilled exterior. For me, their Pineapple Habanero Sauce made it complete. Giving it that extra spicy kick I wanted. The pineapple perfectly toned down the habanero so that it wasn't too hot. Just flavorful.

I also tried their Oxtail & Peppers Patty. Definitely good, but not as much of a standout as the roti.

Lastly, I tried their Macaroni & Cheese Pie. This was somewhat disappointing. If I had to guess, perhaps it's not a popular seller. Mine tasted like it had been reheated numerous times and definitely didn't taste fresh like the rest of the food.

They have so many items on the menu from pastas to decadent desserts and they even have imported Italian sparkling water and still. If you wanna feel transported to a country and romanticize what your taste buds are experiencing, this is the place for you. There is some seating outside and you can people watch but the star of all of this is incredible food just the way his beloved Grandmother made.“
